We received excellent service from Carlos yesterday. He carefully checked our system and quickly resolved the issue we were having with our security cameras. He was very professional and neat in both his appearance and treatment of my home. He is a great representative for ADT and a true asset to the company.
We were contacted relentlessly by ADT after first buying our home about continuing the previous owners account; after informing them very clearly that we already had a separate security system and were not interested in subscribing with them, an ADT sales representative came to our home unannounced to attempt to sell us on the product in person. The entire time of the interaction, the sales representative was acting very sketchy (peering in windows before we opened the door, commenting about the door quality, and looking around the inside of the house without us letting him in) and was not receptive to our statements that we had already informed ADT of our disinterest in the product. We attempted to contact ADT again to ensure that they put a big mark on our name stating that we were, absolutely, thoroughly, unquestioningly NEVER going to purchase anything from them and would not tolerate any continued contact, and we were hurriedly shuffled off to a complaints office THAT WAS CLOSED. After twenty minutes on hold, we got nothing. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ADT. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY AND NOT CARE ABOUT YOU PERSONALLY OR HOW UNCOMFORTABLE THEYRE MAKING YOU.
ADT technician arrived as scheduled and carefully examined my existing equipment to determine what equipment would be installed with a new updated modern system.The technician was very professional and did an excellent job of removing the old and installing the new. When he was completed with the install he walked me through how everything functions. It was easy and simple. One of the best features is I can use my cell phone to arm and disarm the system. Plus the new HD camera captures anyone it detects and alerts me on my cellOver all I believe it is a great security system

Very disappointed with the customer service phone number I called. I had been with them 19 years and wanted to cancel to use a local company. I had to call back three times because each time I was transferred to cancellation department I was put on hold 45 minutes. That is ridiculous in todays instant phone world. Do they need to hire more people or is it a tactic? I believe it was their tactic because when I finally got ahold of someone she wanted to read her shpeel to me and waste another 30 minutes of my life. I am so disgusted because when I told her I had already been on hold 45 minutes, she said oh Im so sorry, then continued to try to sell me again. I told her the first person I spoke with had my information from the previous weeks attempt at cancellation, but she told me I had to use todays date and she didn;t have access to that info. Rip off! I am definitely going with the local company- these large companies are impossible to reach.
George is excellent and ADT is blessed to have him on board. Until he got involved I was given the run around in spite of having made several calls to ADT. My problem was not resolved until I spoke with the person who eventually assigned George. Up until that point I was very disappointed with the service I had received from ADT.
What a nightmare it’s been dealing with ADT and their sales rep Lacey. We had lost a lease on a building and were moving locations, but still had some time left on our alarm contract. We specifically asked Lacey if we could move locations without renewing a contract. We stressed that we did not want to continue after the contract and only wanted to transfer our service to the new location. He said we could, no problem, and set everything up for us.The following month we realized we were being charged for the new location, the old location and we were charged a $1000 cancellation fee. Turns out, Lacey just created a new account, with a new contract. It took weeks of phone calls for them to cancel our old contract, refund our monthly payments (for the old service no longer in use) and refund the cancellation fee. A month later we realized they were STILL charging us for the old service. It took months of calls for us to finally get them to stop charging us for a system no longer in use and a service they canceled months ago...After all that, they say there is nothing they can do about the new contract on the new building. They were able to extend their contract on a dissatisfied customer in the shadiest way I’ve every seen. We trusted our rep when we shouldn’t have, and he did next to nothing to rectify the situation.ADT customer service is a joke and the main reason we wanted to leave. For example, they had the wrong business name and address on our account for MONTHS despite multiple calls from us. They had us listed as the pizza joint next door 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️
Great service
I was completely lied to. I was told I was going to get 3 cameras and 6 sensors for $62 a month. The installer came out and said I was only going to get 1 camera. The other 2 would be extra. I was quoted that price based on what I wanted. The cameras are not wireless by the way. Call Vivant they are honest. Yes Im a real customer regardless of what they say. ADT is total bate and switch
