Took my bike in for a tune up last Saturday. This was the first time I visited the shop. I was greeted very nicely and received excellent customer service. Picked my bike up late Monday evening and it rides better than the day I purchased it. Very knowledgeable staff and honest with what i best needed to improve my bike. Hands down I’ll be doing repeat business with Skinny Wheels Bike Shop. Hats off to the staff and mechanic! 🤙

New to the area … first visit. Went in to get a tubeless tire repaired and was very impressed with the shop and staff. They took the time to give us some advice on where to ride which was much appreciated.I believe we’ve found our new bike shop!

Really down to earth and friendly mechanics who know what theyre doing. My bike work was done the same day, for a very reasonable price. The shop also stocks parts such as stems, seats, pedals, and other related necessities that make riding more comfortable. I highly recommend!

The shop was very clean and the workers was very knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to what I was telling them and they explained what was wrong with my granddaughters bike. They fixed it and it did not take long. I would recommended this business to anyone looking for bicycle repair. Their priceing was very reasonable.

I went in to ask for some opinions on my bicycle, Eric took the time away from the schedule to answer my questions. After I left the store he also research some parts and got me together a quote while I was away. He gave me a call and talk to me about my options. Completely blown away by my first experience, these guys are a really great bike shop.

Love Skinny Wheels! Local bike shop with a great inventory and knowledgeable staff. I have several bikes ranging from modern carbon fiber to classic 60s. Theyve kept them rolling and shifting smoothly for years. They also have group rides for beginners to expert. Nice to have a local shop that so involved with the community.

Skinny Wheels is a great local business and shop! I began with just wanting a nice commuter bike, which he did an awesome job helping me with. Months later I was interested in getting into road biking and he helped me find a good intro level road bike! He never tried to oversell me and let me go at my own pace. He also encouraged me to join group rides. After several months of that I became hooked. Skinny Wheels cares about the community as well. They are involved in local downtown development and sponsor events when they are able.

These guys are awesome! Forget the big box stores, shop small and help support them! Integrity and honesty you won’t find most places!

I went in window shopping for a new mountain bike, and Eric took the time to answer all my newbie questions. Went in a couple weeks later with more questions, and Scott not only took the time to answer my questions, but stayed a little past closing time to help me purchase my new bike. There was no pressure to upsell, and the prices are reasonable. I had a couple minor issues with the bike from being a new rider, and took the bike back a couple times to have them addressed. Not only was I greeted by name both times I came into the shop, the team went above and beyond to take care of my needs and help me correct them. Excellent experience with Skinny Wheels, I wont be shopping anywhere else.

Guys will go out of their way for you. Friendly, theyll attempt to find you exactly what you need and order something if what they have isnt it. I have known Eric for several years now and will continue to go to him. They do great work and all a reasonable price. I have moved from Salisbury to Charlotte but like all the others in the last several years, Ill be buying my next bike from Eric.

I brought in an antique bike in rough shape and I was helped immediately. The customer service is unparalleled. The one part I needed that they didnt already have in stock was ordered, and the labor costs were minimal on the actual repairs. I bought my first road bike from Skinny Wheels a year ago and couldnt be happier! They helped answer all my questions and I never felt pushed to buy. Good customer service. They were very willing to work on mounting my tires correctly and ensuring proper tire pressure.Seems to be geared more towards road bikes than mountain bikes, but are very capable of servicing both groups.

Customer service at its finest!!! I have bought 2 bikes at Skinny Wheels from Eric. It was the absolute best experience I have ever encountered. I knew nothing about cycling and had never bought a bicycle outside of a Wal-Mart. I primarily rode for leisure while camping. I happened upon his store while walking around downtown Salisbury. Once entering, I was respectfully greeted. I stated that I was just browsing and he accepted my response and told me if I needed any assistance to just let him know. I wound up having a ton of questions. Eric was able to answer all my questions. He also listened to my riding interests. By all means, I am not an Olympic cyclist nor do I have any experience. The first bike I bought was a hard back mountain bike. Eric told me about a fairly novice-Intermediate trail that was close to my residence. I tried the trail and loved it. I went back every weekend to ride it. About a month later, I went back into Skinny Wheels and was greeted by Eric again. I bought a road bike that day. I then started road cycling with Erics group rides on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I really enjoy the fellow cyclists that come out to ride. Eric is a great host! I have been on several of his Wed and Sat group rides. He doesnt leave anyone behind. He is an exceptional motivator! As a result of walking into Skinny Wheels and meeting Eric, I am hooked on cycling and have met several people to ride with weekly. I have also been helped by Scott and have had exceptinal experiences. Scott goes above and beyond to understand what you need and strives to assist you to the fullest. As a result of my first cycling experience, I am very biased toward Skinny Wheels because they have set the bar quite high, in my opinion. I would recommend them to everyone!

My friend took his wheels up there for them to seat some tires and then he retapped them when my friend told him to but they didn’t take the old tape off and the new tape leaked air along with them messing up one of his tires and denting his rim at multiple spots
