Took my sons car here for inspection...it was a ride. First they failed the car because what they said were bad lower control arms. They wanted to charge me over $2000 to replace them. Took the car to a shop down the road and it cost $200 total. I went past the month grace period so they had to re-inspect well now the tires were bad according to them. The same tires they had inspected and passed. I actually have a letter from a certified ASE mechanic stating there was nothing wrong with the lower control arms. Dont waste your time and money taking your car here, just while sitting in line we heard the outrageous prices they were charging customers for little stuff. Look for other options there are plenty, took my other 2 cars somewhere else and had no issues. Again stay away from this place at all cost! I ended up paying for the cheap tire they sold me just so I didnt have to come back and see them again and hear their petty excuses.

Had my transmission worked on here and they replaced the transmission flywheel. Got the vehicle back and then had an ASE certified tech come to my house and scan the van. Turns out that the electrical harness was not reattached correctly, the transmission cooling lines were crimped and the transmission was empty of all fluid. I called them and was told that I was to have the vehicle towed back at MY own expense. I was then called by the mechanic who had initially performed the service. He took zero accountability and only implied that he never had to touch the cooling lines. He had no clue that I had step by step instructions with pictures of how this procedure is completed. Called the manager and was STILL charged an additional 330 on top of the 1260 I was initially charged. I can simply not trust anyone who does business this way.

Best general service shop in the county. Expert staff, knowledgeable mechanics, and great service. No BS guaranteed. They wouldnt recommend something they wouldnt use themselves.

Rondell and his team were extremely helpful and took their time showing me what needed to be fixed. They were very knowledgeable, efficient and they were able to get everything done all in the same day. 3 of my tires had been leaking air. Two days later, one was still leaking and I brought my car back in. They checked the tire, re-sealed it and squeezed me in on a Friday when they were super busy. They try to do everything they can, and get you back on the road quickly!

Ive used this garage for years and they have always treated me well. Ive never had to return for a repair to be fixed again. They are courteous, quick and the price is right.

I called to get an estimate to set up an appointment and the info got passed down and over never to receive a call back. You should never be to busy where you cant help new business and if you that behind that means there should be room for employment interviews.

Been a loyal customer for years. Their customer service is top notch. Rondel is honest about what needs to be done with your vehicle and I’ve never felt like they were “trying to get me.” I had a significant issue with my wife’s car that they encouraged me to go to the dealership and push to have it covered under manufacturer warranty. Long story short, the dealership covered it with the warranty and it saved me THOUSANDS! Any other shop may have just told me I had to get it fixed now and I would have been out of significant money. I will only take my vehicles here.

Never will take my cars here again. They messed up my first car and wont take the blame for it because they was the last people to touch it. And everytime i had to get something fix i had to come right back and have them to refix.Replying back: Yeah when i bought it back to you to do the repair for the crank shaft seal i had oil in my car. And of course it didnt have no oil due to it running out. Thats when i didnt have no oil. But its cool. I told my friends and family not to come to yall. And from what I heard im not the only one who car yall messed up.

I came here to get my car Maryland inspected.Although I had called the partner shop (the Snow Hill Rd location), I ended up coming here and was accepted. The staff here were very friendly and reassuring. They let me know what the process would be like and when there was an area of concern actually took me to see what they were talking about on my car. I have never had a licensed mechanic at the shop be so honest and through without trying to steer me to kick out money for them to fix it.I came back the following week for them to further assess the issue as I needed it fixed to pass inspection. I did not pass the inspection on two points. The manager referred me to a specialized auto shop that they use for foreign cars. Although they were able to fix it, they wanted to make sure that I got the best fix. Through all of this, I was only asked to pay the initial inspection fee. I am scheduled to have the additional repairs done next week and will be in my car back for them to check off on.If you are in need of a honest and thorough inspection or want your car to get proper treatment without being hassled to pay more to fill the mechanics pockets unnecessarily, bring your car to this place. I feel like I need to tip these guys. I will if my repairs wont be an arm and a leg at the other auto shop. Lol

Honest, ethical, fair. Phenomenal work. Just looked at their parking lot...its ALWAYS full. People line up and wait if they have to just to make sure its Peninsula that works on their car. They mail out coupons regularly to encourage repeat customers. They are wonderful.

They were very quick doing the inspection they were very polite. There was one mistake they made went to motor vehicle and found out they put the wrong Vin number on the inspection so I had to go back to them and get it fixed but they were very apologetic about it and they made up the mistake by being very polite

I have been taking both of my elderly cars here for years. With older cars its easy for a mechanic to just tell you to replace everything to make it run right again. They take the time to really diagnose the problem and give me a fair price....and dont do things that dont need to be done just to jack the price up. Theyve done such a good job we started bring our company vehicles there as well.

Sigh. I thought I found a good shop and then I sent my elderly mother there to get a brake noise checked out. They recommended new front brake pads and rotors and lubricating the back brakes.Her brake pads have 8 mm left. As a reference point, brakes start at about 12 mm and should be replaced at 3 mm and there is a wear notch that disappears when the brakes are at 3mm. The wear notch is clearly visible with plenty of wear left. She does not need new brake pads.The noise only happens when my dad drives - elderly, hard on the brakes. The back brakes do need to be lubricated which get rid of the noise my elderly mom occasionally hears. (I have yet to hear the noise.)The noise happened a few weeks ago and they took the vehicle to the dealer and were told the rear brakes were separated. Not clear what that means, I assume the clip was lose and needed lubrication, but their estimate was over $300. They reported the front brakes to be at 8 mm and not needing to be replaced. They did recommend replacing the rear pads at 6 mm. Again, there is no need to replace a brake pad with 6 mm left. I let that one go because we all know dealerships make money by overcharging. This was 3 WEEKS AGO. So somehow you guys decided brakes with 8 mm are subject to replacement for little old ladies.And for you guys to try to bilk an old lady for new brakes to replace her almost new brakes is an egregious error. You have lost her as a customer, me as a customer, and anyone else that needs work done to their vehicle that asks for a recommendation.Its very disappointing when shops take advantage of elderly people that just dont understand how things work. Dont do it. Had you lubed her back brakes, charged her the labor for that, you would still have a customer. And by trying to rip her off, you lost at least three.Thank god she didnt fall for your scam. Your estimate of $485 for a $100 (TOPS!) job is outrageous. I hope this is not your business plan. See a little old lady and charge her to replace already new parts on her vehicle.Heed this warning potential customers. This shop takes advantage of people that dont know vehicles. Its a shame.

Great people. Fast reliable service

They did the job of changing the oil in my minivan but they forgot to reset the Oil Life Monitoring System sensor and now the maintenance reminder wrench shows on my dash even though I was just there for an oil change a few months ago. The guy Rondell was also not the friendliest of workers, I tried to make small talk with him but he just ignored me and did not even make eye contact. I will be taking my business elsewhere for my next oil change.

Just took my car to Peninsula for the first time. I couldnt b happier with how my car drives. I took it in for a few smaller issue, the time it took to get the estimate was longer than expected but altogether they only had my car for 4 days. The manager never tried to push more work on me and he was honest with the prices and what needed done. Ive been searching for an honest and dependable mechanic for 5 years. Fingers crossed i think ive found one. Until they give me a reason not too ill take all my future wrk to PTCC. 👍😁
