This place is slappin! Every time I walk in, I feel like I can ask anyone about any project I may be working on and theyll know exactly what I may be looking for or need. Very knowledgeable staff. Prices are a little higher than the bigger stores but its a price Im willing to pay to experience convenience, knowledge and attention to detail.

My need a key, paint, duck tape, light bulb etc real quick drop in store. Super friendly, clean and organized.

A real Godsend! The staff is Great, they are vocal when they have great deals you may miss at first sight. The inside sales floor is spacious bright.

I love my local Ace hardware store. Its a great alternative to the big box places and without them we would be Wal Marted. Friendly helpful staff. They are all pretty young but I have never felt too old to get their help. I want them to stay in business. One of my regular shops in the Star market group.

Hidden gem of a store, they have everything the big stores carry plus employees who know where the item youre looking for is. Shelves are stocked plus just did a huge remodel.

Love this ace! Staff is always pretty friendly but I went in recently needing a specific color of paint and could only use a certain no voc base which made it very hard to get the exact color. Betty took her time helping and kept mixing until it was exactly what I needed. She was so patient and kind and also had an excellent eye for color. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you need paint!

I like the fact that the employees were attentive, available and welcoming. The store was also clean.

Exceptional knowledge and customer service

I love to go to small hardware stores in lieu of Lowes and Home Depot. The store associates are great like Vincent. What is lowering my score is the way management treats the Ace Reward members. We get coupons in the mail, but the POS system will not allow the coupon to be printed out or used electronically. When I approached the store Supervisor, David, he said we can go to another store. Not what I want to hear from leadership that they dont mind losing business.

They worked very hard to match up the outside paint and I needed for my brick wall and as is always they were very polite and helpful

They say Ace is the place but this time they let me down in all fairness it was a circuit breaker that I needed and its manufacturer had discontinued it. They are still the place to go for hardware.

I went there for there advertised ace rewards card holders monthly sale, the products, mulch snd potting soil by many brand names were labeled in stock at the location. Not only did they not have what i wanted, they had NO OTHER BRAND of flower and shrub, or any planting soil, they also had NO BROWN wood chips or mulch. Ok, so i asked for a rain check( due to discount) NOPE, how bout a call back when they restock, NOPE, i am not a hsppy camper, its the only hardware store near me, since orchard closed, ace is usually over priced, generally not knowledgeable, so it doesnt matter that they are helpful. Sorry, they consistantly dissapoint, NOTE, I dont really take time to give a blatent bad review. So i am being nice, with 2 stars.

Not many customers during my visit.Picked up a Dovetail Pull Saw.At $17.47 the saw is kind of expensive for its quality.Checkout was quick.Like many stores, Ace Hardware asks for a Rewards Card.I dont like my purchases being tracked.

Things you know about an Ace hardware store: you know they are going to be clean and well stocked and the staff will be helpful. This is exactly the description of this location except they seem to have even more inventory of varied home tools I have not seen anywhere else.

I shop ace hardwares all over the Monterey area. My experience today is why I will always go to salinas location first! The manager, Ginger, goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. She is a woman of her word and is very good at running a fantastic store. Do yourself a favor and drive past the bigger box stored and come straight here for all of your hardware needs! I end up spending the same amount of money, and the service is awesome.

Dont get a key made here!! Made 3 keys. 2 of three didnt work. Went back they made new ones that also didnt work. Nice people, they just dont know how to make keys

Went there today for advice on falling installation in the garage. They didnt have what I needed, but directed me to Home Depot and showed me what to get. While I will do that, it is their advice why I do most of my shopping at their store versus big box stores.
