I disagree., Smart and final is way too expensive. First street brand is basically cheap and lousy tasting!

Like any retail, sometimes theyre out of what you want. That doesnt happen often. Prices are really good if you pay attention to the weekly ads. If you snooze you lose. Got no complaints.

I go to S&F for light weight cardboard food trays. You get 250 for $10, 4 cents each which makes them much cheaper to use than cardboard bowls to feed my kitty her canned food. They have an excellent variety of canned and bottled sauces and condiments as well. Good quality kitchen utensils too. Definitely recommended.

Super fast visit to pick up menu supplies for week to cook. Restock was in progress but all items we needed were fully stocked and presented accordingly. Fast, friendly and courteous checkout got us back on road home super quick.

Kinda sucked, no one greeted me. Walked passed 3 people in charge. Walked passed a pallet of milk that was warm. Overheads stocked too full. Items out on shelves. Needs improvement but could get better.

Over a year ago when my family and I moved near our local Smart & Final. I was always under the impression that they only sold items in bulk. My family and I were extremely happy to see they also offer many “regular” sized items for sale as well; thus making it our “regular” grocery store that we visit almost daily! The friendly customer service from the cashiers makes each visit a pleasant one, and gives the store that “mom and pop” feel to it that keeps us returning. Maria (supervisor), and Kimberly, make us feel welcomed and always greet us with a smile. The evening security gaurd is even the friendliest, most professional guard I’ve seen at any establishment. We feel safe enough to visit the store near closing hours. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with this store and I wanted to give recognition to it, and those it make each experience one that keeps us going back!

Smart & Final is good when you have to buy bulk items. Prices are competitive and the employees are always helpful. They open more cash registrars when they get busy.

They improve a bit with the merchandise in the middle of the way I like it because is like coscot witout membership

This applies to my visit on 7/15/18. Why would you choose to restock shelves on a Sunday? There several isles you could not easily access due to the boxes blocking the way. Most of the time I have positive shopping experiences there, just not today.

Its a small store, but I usually find what I am looking for. The people are nice. You can find parking easily.

Excellent mini cost co store but a smaller scale. They have everything you could want in a grocery store. Easily accessible, plenty of parking. A great store.

It is an average grocery store, not to big, not to small. Something that is interesting to me is the fact that all Smart & Final stores do not carry all the same merchandise. This store carries half gallons of molasses (I use to mix horse medication) and none of the other Smart & Final stores in my area do. Go figure. Talking to a friend, they have a similar problem with a flavoring they buy. All in all, this is a nice store.

Good prices, good layout.

3:30pm in the afternoon on a Saturday. Shelves in frozen isles werent well stocked. Employees were stocking shelves, however they had boxes and carts blocking the isles and made no effort to accommodate my shopping.

Cheap prices mostly. Good big buyers. Nice staff.

This is my go to place because its like a mini Costco but without the membership price and an ideal place to buy in large amounts!

Love smart and finalCostco, with just the basics, no long lines and you dont have to walk for miles. Food, drinks, restaurant supplies, cleaning products. In and out in 10 minutes.

Smart & final is like a Costco without the membership fee! You can buy in bulk & not break the bank. I always stock up on chicken, spices, and frozen chicken wings.

I had a good experience at Smart & Final for the most part. The produce is always on point in terms of being fresh. Cashier was a little slow today and that was disappointing. But if thats my biggest complaint then Im doing alright.

Its a smaller Costco to me.Fresh produce, clean store descent prices, and fast cashiers .

The people that work in Smart & Final are very professional and polite..The exterior should be cleaner...the supervisors should assignment workers to pick up the trash outside the building...It seems to be an acceptable thing to have trash on the outside of the building

I purchased food with $100 was given back a fake $20 and cashier and manager didnt give me my money back.Manager supposably reviewed the video and didnt spot the fake bill on the video so she could not help me . The bill looks authentic feels and only realized while putting in my wallet the size was slightly smaller. I ended paying much more for the groceries since i was ripoff not shopping here anymore .Disappointed with service lost money and time .

Went in for flat iron steak meat seasoned other stores had that style for 9.99 a pound smart & final had it for 5.59 a pound.

For me smart & final they always treat me very good

A bit dark and messy. Store has poor layout everything is scattered.. Parking is tiny at best. Great prices but can be hit or miss on product.

Smart & Final in Salinas is okay, really dont like where it is located and can be difficult at times to get out of the parking lot since the turns arent that great in the area. The prices are fairly comparable to other grocery markets and usually have a decent sale each week.

I went to this store with the plan to take a scale I bought one or two weeks ago, to live at first hand the experience of returning something without a receipt. Well, the manager came out, he first offered to exchange the item for another one i went to the isIe and saw one, but said there was no more scales, then he asks the cashier when I had said I bought the item, she said yesterday, he pulls out yesterdays sales, and obviously it wasnt gonna be there, to my surprise he insinuated I had gotten the item somewhere else, but that it wasnt at this store, he then puts the item in my hands n says ... you didnt buy this item here, I dont know where you got it there was people behind me which was humiliating I dont think that he had the right to said that to me in front of all those customer what if someone i know was behind me. I belive managers should be really careful with what they say, he could of just said, I cant find the item on this weeks sales, I cant help you unless you have a receipt sorry, but he didnt.

Places of boxes all over the place so we can go down the aisles to handicap parking is filled with pallets whats that all about they dont have stuff to clean the carts out like the one in Monterey cant cleaners the 1 Im on or a this is have boxes all over the place and they have more people at the at the counter to help you the lines are shorter in the 1 in Mana raise they had ham white for your cards the place is much cleaner give it 2 stars
