Went in for a smog check. First time customer. Received great customer service. Everyone was nice and friendly. They mentioned some recommendations they had for my vehicle and gave me an estimate. Overall it was a good experience. I will definitely return for other services.

This review is long overdue, but my vehicle has been running great ever since I had the work done at Trustlane about 4 months ago. It was not fun driving my car before the repairs and now I am enjoying driving it again. Being honest, the price was higher than I expected, but in the end I got great results and the team was very professional.

Finally found a trustworthy mechanic in the area that doesnt charge you an arm and a leg. Trustlane is straight forward and theyll do a full inspection and tell you what needs to be done and what can wait. Their work is guaranteed for 3 years/36,000 miles whichever comes first. And bonus points, they even have complimentary loaner vehicles for their customers to drive while their car is being worked on! Not a shuttle home, a car for you to take home and drive as long as your car is in their possession. Ive never even had the dealerships offer me that. Better service and accommodations at a third of the price? Better warranty on parts and labor. There is no reason to ever take your car to the dealer with Trustlane. Unless the issue happens to be a recall. But other than that, I highly recommend this place.

I took my Fiat 500 to Trustlane automotive. They diagnosed the problems with my car. They called me and let me know what the issues were. I told them to do the needed repairs. They were quick in doing the repairs and kept in constant contact with updates on how the repairs were going. Brenda the manager and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Juan the owner personally reached out to me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Its great to deal with a company where the owner personally reaches out to you. They have a team in the office area to take care of multiple customers simultaneously, plus they have their great ASE mechanics!Trustlane is exactly what a customer wants! Three staff members attended to me upon arrival! Brenda and the office team are great! They communicated to me excellently throughout the 8 days by phone and email! They sent pictures of the things that needed to be fixed! They answered the phone when I called! They answered all of my questions, and gave me all of the information I sought! They explained everything going on throughout the 8 days! It was incredible!When I picked up my van, they were great! I walked under my van with the mechanic! He showed me everything they did! Absolutely great people and trusty mechanics. I know first hand, as a check-engine light in my X5 caught me 5hrs away from home. I have worked in my cars since 16, I’m 3x that and forgot to pack any tools or scanner for our family retreat trip... had no other choice but to search for somewhat a trusty please and I did it here in Google! I read the reviews and these guys delivered & impressed me!!!!!!!!I was so happy how straightforward they were. It only cost me the initial diagnostic fee. The mechanic found I had not connected some vacuum lines and seated properly my updated coil packs and that what it. Any other place, would had shown me the misfires codes and would’ve charge me for plug and coil, which is a $600 job at the Stealer.Who ever wrote their mechanics are not trained and preferred to go to a dealer is definitely working at a Dealer!!!I like them so much I stayed longer and asked them to fix another issue I couldn’t do on my own. Their mechanic was able to recode my whole ECM module to clear a persistent issue I dealt for 5 months. Again, I only got charged a minimal fee compared with any other place.Moral of the story: They are great.

I definitely recommend Trust Lane Automotive for your car service. My check engine light appeared one day on my Mercedes C300. I had an extended warranty so that company referred me to Trust Lane because they were in my network and they were close to my home. I called them mid day in a panic and asked if they could get me in that same day and to my surprise they were able to accommodate me. My car ended up needing a Crank Case Ventilation Valve Replacement. They had to keep my car for a few days being that this was more of an extensive repair. I was very relieved when they provided me with a loaner vehicle because I commute from Salinas to Monterey. The front staff had amazing customer service, they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, dependable and competent. Overall I had a great experience with this company.

Best Customer service I have experienced in a long time!! After doing a smog check, they informed me that my Mini needed a coolant flush due to a contaminated reservoir, which I already knew about. They walked me to my car and showed me how bad it was. Made a same day appointment, they brought me to my home and picked me up when the work was complete. They even took the time to put my new plates on!!! Very professional customer friendly!!

These folks are efficient and affordable. They keep in good touch with their customers, and do specialty requests as well.Juan helped me install helper springs on my Ford van, to allow it to carry double the weight load. He kept my GMC van nicely tuned as well. As soon as I walk inside the staff at Trustlane greeted me with courtesy. I was having some trouble with my electrical system on my 328i BMW. They conducted a full inspection and discovered that it was the battery that was going bad. A new battery was installed and my car is running great again. The owner came out and greet me and wanted to make sure the right battery was installed, it feels good to know the owner care so much about the quality of the work and his customers. I have my own business. I have an optical lab where I cut and mount prescription lenses into optical frames. As a dispensing optician it is my responsibility and duty to pick the best lens and frame that best helps the need of the patient; in short I make the glasses like if they were for my own personal use. I ask myself, if I had this prescription what frame and lenses would I use for myself. And that’s how I make every pair for my patients. FYI this repair shop is not rated best as i seen it advertised, Second the technicians are not certified on European vehicles as advertised, Very expensive and lack of knowledge is a waste of money and time. I would think twice before getting talked into high repair costs or any type of financing they offer. Sent my wife to get a feel of the shop for service on her Mercedes and it was not as advertised. You can ask before who or which technicians are certified. None. Sorry but dealership would be a much better choice. The certificates on the wall are not dealership trained technicians.

Overall very satisfied with customer service, was kept well informed of repairs needed, and cost up front. Though we have only had the vehicle back for a short time so far no mechanical issues. Staff was professional and well schooled andknowledgeable about our particular automobile.

I been going to this place for quite some time now . Juan is always professional and friendly . Service is mostly done in timely manner and cars always drive smoother and noticeably different then before . Prices are pretty decent unlike others who charge arm and a leg and Juan is always willing to talk about other good options and give free advices on your present or future car 😉😉 (yes free!) . My husband hardly ever likes anyone touching his car but even he was happy with the service on his car. Its been a place to go for our 🚘🚘

Had a jerky shift from park to drive they couldn’t even find the real issue! . Charged me $150 for diagnostic this time & kept my car a full two days just for that. Charged me $80 diagnostic last time they switch up their pricing. Got back with NO RESULTS. P.S they did the same to my friend. They also over charge for everything almost like dealer pricing

By far the best place I’ve been to, to get service on my vehicle . Although it was a simple smog check, the service was great and a price that’s hard to beat. Juan, who was the service technician, and front end staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention, I was in and out within 20 minutes or less. They had a few vehicle maintenance recommendations in which I plan to get serviced here as well, for things I can’t or don’t want to do myself. Thanks again!

Professional & detailed. The owner, Juan, is educated & up-to-date with newer technology to test your vehicle. He is always honest and trustworthy. We’ve taken a 2005 Nissan Frontier Truck to him in past. Excellent work at a savings from what we were used to at other places. Just has 4 wheel alignment on our 2017 Hyundai Azera at a great savings compared to what Hyundai quoted us. Thank you Trustlane.

I was purchasing a new to me used car from a dealership nearby. I hired them to do a pre-purchase inspection since I was buying from out of state. They jumped on it and did an excellent job! The tech that did the inspection even took videos of the car and made sure everything worked. I was worried because I couldnt rely on the selling dealer to tell me if it had been smoked in, etc. I will be using them to do a maintenance inspection after purchase as well. Good team over there!

Told me couldnt do my smog cause of aftermarket catalytic converters went elsewhere and was done quickly and easily, dont reccomend them here. Also they charge more on top of regular price if you have aftermarket (non factory) catalytic converters. Other place was cheaper too!!

This place is a wonderful place to get your car fixed. Juan was very professional and he fixed my lights very fast. I did not have to wait long and he fixed the problem right away. I would definitely go back to get my car serviced there again.

Just went to get my new Dodge Truck smog checked at Trustlane Automotive. The said the front tires were worn and needed to be aligned the air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced and the main belt in the front of the engine was worn out and needed to be replaced along with the tensioner................ the truck has 20,000 miles on it.........its practically new. Went directly to the dealership and they checked it out and said everything was fine and that TRUSTLANE is running a scam. DO NOT take your vehicle to TRUSTLANE on North Main for a smog check. TOTAL ripoff artists. Their business model is to scam the unsuspecting car owner. BAD people, BAD organization.

If we need a category for negative stars its my worst experience ever and Im 70 years old and I used to wrench on my own cars and raise them when I was younger dont feel like doing it now ask for a battery replace they didnt do it ask them not to test the alternator they tested it and charged me $65 when I told them I already tested it at home I knew it was okand it was OK please dont ever take your car here the horrible their labor rate goes from whatever they decide to charge you and its well over a $150 an hour Thats insane

Took my newly acquired truck in for a smog to renew my reg and a brake job and then asked them to do a general checkup. I initially spoke to the service desk about setting an appointment and they went out of their way to get me in there as soon as possible. They gave me clear pricing and made sure they helped me with everything I needed. After they checked me in, Juan himself came into the lobby area and introduced himself so I knew who would be working on my truck. Of course I knew he would have some help with the work but after meeting him and going over what needed to be done, he gave me the peace of mind that the work would be done well and done right the first time. They didnt try to upsell me anything either. In fact, I called later in the day and asked them to do a couple extra things. I havent had any issues since they did their work. Lastly, they checked in with me a couple weeks later to make sure everything was running well. Classy!

Friendly staff, got my car in quickly, only took about an hour to do an alignment, oil change and smog test. Clean facility. They took extra precaution and used disposable steering wheel cover and paper mat to keep my car clean. I also feel that they gave me a very fair price. No complaints.

This automotive shop was running a special on oil changes. The price was pretty good. The technician did point out a couple of items to keep an eye on but they didnt give me the Hard Sell for the repair which was appreciated.

Its never great when you go in for something simple like an oil change and a brake inspection, expecting to pay maybe $300, and ending up with $2200 of repairs. This is exactly what happened to me, but the people at Trustlane did a wonderful job and really took care of me.Obviously I didnt want to have to pay that much money, but it had to be done. I was shown all the pieces and parts that needed replaced and it was all valid, needed repair.On top of that, there was an issue with my lug nut key. It was missing. I knew exactly where it had to be because Id had tire work done at a place down the street and the key was there when I took it in, but when I got to Trustlane a few months later it was suddenly missing. Trustlane was kind enough to go to the tire place to get the key for me so they could continue the work.They also stayed open an hour and a half past their closing time to make sure the work got done so Id have my car available to go to work the next day. All in all, they did great work with amazing customer service. I highly recommend this shop for your mechanical needs.

I needed to make a smoke check. I went to a this mechanical workshop. I was in a hurry because I needed to be at work in an hour, I asked the receptionist if it was possible to get my cars smoke check done quickly before work at that moment the owner, Juan showed up and I asked him directly and he kindly agreed to get the smoke check done quickly. I was thankful because he had other clients yet he helped me and got the smoke check done in 25 minutes and at a good price. The staff was also friendly. I highly recommend this place its very clean and Id be happy to come back if I ever need to.

The staff was courteous & did well to inform me of the work that needed to be done. When there was an issue & the car had to be returned for further repairs the owner was very fair in charging me for only the part, but not the labor. The manager Juan was very nice and helpful. He has a great team with him that are very informative with everything that they do to your car. I just took my Toyota Tundra in to fix my catalytic converter. I’m glad I took it to Trustlane Automotive, they got the job and had no problems after the fix.
