Nice neighborhood ice cream 🍦 shop! Very happy that Dairy Queen corporate kept this location for the people of the North end of Salina. My son and I can get ice cream on a hot day within walking distance. And yesterday was a little warm but enjoyable. My sons Sundae and my Royal Cheesecake Blizzard were very good! The Staff at this location made it just like in the pictures in the menu. I would recommend this place highly!

These kids like to pretend they dont notice somebody standing at their window. And the chili dogs are terrible. Blizzards are good though.

I havent been here in a while and decided I wanted a shake. The service was excellent. The girl working the drive thru was so patient with me and very pleasant. I ordered a PB shake and it was the right consistency and great flavor. We also ordered the dream dipped cone. I would recommend this location because of the service and the cleanliness of the outside of the business. Keep up guys your doing great!!!!!

Really fast and great service. Only thing i would change is they serve more burgers and real food options. Will be back.

Horrible tasted like spoiled milk Jeremy the manager said he couldnt refund me for two large blizzards because we touched them ..he said milk isnt spoiled it has expire date ..no one washed there hands nor did Jeremy have a mask on will never go here again disgusting..he wouldnt even taste the ice cream to check ..when I told him I was goin to call he said I dont care were a family owned business wont make difference ...hey everyone go to spangles or braums there ice cream is very good

Great ice cream.for those of you not in the know 2-4pm is happy hour.you get products like shakes for half price.a medium shake at happy hour only costs around $1.60.thank me later.

Sad that we sat in drive thru for 45 minutes for a few items once I got to window easy to see why four teenagers working that a loose term girl was talking and flirting with the guys but doing zero work the others so busy talking to her I watched and one guy took ten minutes to put the wrapper on a chicken sandwich was ridiculously annoying to watch.

I walked my 2 yr old rotty pup of 140 lbeells. there and they were so e thand the service weas excrellent, and they gaveva vanilla Sunday to me for the dog at no charge . Is orderd a chili dog and a chicken strip basket . The food was fresh and done to my liking.

Service at this location has declined horribly in the two years Ive been away from Salina. Slow service and passive aggressive when they make a mistake in your order, which has happened the three times weve been since moving back. Im not sure if they are too short staffed which leads to them taking their frustrations out on customers, not paid enough to care about doing a good job, or simply do not want to work there but the attitudes put a damper on our fun family outings. Well stick to Braums for our weekly ice cream visit, even if its not as close to us.

It was 8:30pm on Saturday night. All the lights outside were shut off open sign wasnt on. Shows open until 9:00pm. The kid threw change at us basically. Was rude.. sorry youre open until 9.

Took a few for someone to come to the window. But thats okay people are working! Treats came out quick and my kids always love what they get. Also 3 options of dilly bar. #yessss

Said it was open online, family and I stopped by on a roadtrip. Two people were inside and one was chatting to some guy in the drive through. There was no sign to say it was open and the other windows were closed to order something. They seemed to be teens working but laughing at us trying to figure out what we were doing there

Got a cotton candy blizzard. I always taste what I get, because they’re not ever the same. Tasted like vanilla ice cream... for $5, when I could have gone to Casey’s and spent $1... told him it tasted like vanilla ice cream, he says guess he didn’t put enough cotton candy in it 🙄 if I would have drove off and then tasted it I would’ve been really pissed. It’s not that hard to follow a direction sheet, put that amount of ingredients in, and make it that way. I miss my old town dq.... oh and please make enough of the cotton candy, so you don’t run out like every year..

I ordered 2 vanilla ice cream cones. One for me and one for my daughter. The total amount was $3.46. I handed him $3.51. He said here is your penny back. I took it back and he never have me change back. It was only. 04 so I wasnt too worried about it. The moral of the story is that people need taught how to count back change. Other than that the cones were good

Was hoping for a cheeseburger..no longer serve. Settled on chili cheese hotdog.The chili was saltier than I had remembered. Desert was a banana split, and my wife had a milkshake, which upset our stomachs.Otherwise... Staff were good people and courteous.

Love Dairy Queen and have always come to this one. But for some reason I had to wait in the drive through for 10 mins waiting on someone to come through. If they were busy they could have said “thank you for choosing Dairy Queen I’ll be right with you” but instead nothing very unprofessional

Theyre combined with Orange Julius. This is the best idea. Now you can get delicious smoothies, ice cream or, like me, a banana split.Very quick and friendly. Will return next time Im in town.

I got shake and it was really good. It was quickly made with great attitudes from the workers.

My dad goes into this dairy queen almost every day before he rides his bike to work. Since Monday there have been ads on commercials advertising buy one blizzard get the second one for .99 I told him about it and he went in the next day and came home that night and said he got 2 blizzards that were one of the new flavors. The Oreo fudge and he said that there was no sign advertising buy one get one for .99. So then the next day (yesterday) he went back to the same dairy queen and got one Oreo fudge and one chocolate covered cherry blizzard and they charged him regular price for those too. So I called them fifteen minutes ago and asked them if they are participating in the special. She informed me that they were. I told her about my dad having to pay full price and that there were no signs there. The young woman on the phone then informed me that her manager said that you have to REQUEST for the discounted price. There was no apology. There was no attempt to rectify the situation to keep the very loyal customer happy and returning I know it may be trivial and not that big of a deal but my opinion of this company has severely went downhill.

Absolutely horrible!!! The kids that work there are super rude, wouldn’t give a receipt, and the ice cream was super grainy. I’ve worked fast food with an ice cream machine and that means it’s not being cleaned properly. I got a large sundae and it there was hardly any ice cream. No manager on the site to talk to and the kids thought it was funny. very unprofessional and will let people know that’s not the place to go!

Great customer service! I had a mistake on a previous order, and the manager/owner was very quick to correct it. Nice to have trust in the customer and integrity at a retail location!!

The service is normally always with a smile and normally very polite. They normally give us what we ask for and every time I have been, if there is a problem, they fix it no questions asked.

This place is horrible. We tried to finish our Sunday night with ice cream with our dogs and they were very rude! We bought a large sundae and there was hardly any ice cream and then when we ate it, it was so grainy and rotten tasting, we couldn’t even eat it! We tried to ask them about it and they all just laughed through the window, so rude and so unprofessional! I will never go back there!

Been going there for years to get a caramel-mocha moo latte. First time a server had told me “no, we cannot do that” or “id have to charge for two”. She was so rude I will not go back because of service than menu.

When by there more then once and always have had to stand there waiting for 15 mins before I get help there no one in drive thru and the person see me just ignores me worst service ever at this one. Also asked for a application one day and got with a rude tone we dont have any 😒

I ordered a turkey blt meal of the menu. I was then told they dont have that stuff because they are an original DQ. I said its on the menu. Its the number 3. They said I should order my food with the number beside it because they dont have a break down for each item in front of them. I then got my food and got back on the road just to find it was a grilled chicken sandwich. I called and didnt get an answer... Rude, horrible service and lack of common sense...

They closed down both DQs we have to wait for there ice cream or make a special trip to either Manhattan ks or Salina is. So we love their ice cream all year long.

They just stared at us without aknowledgment. It was during business hours (6:45 pm) people in drive thru. But the kids inside never came to window, from time to time just look at us. It was really weird, so we left.
