Please do yourself a favor and find your cabinets somewhere else, it may save you the frustrations we experienced buying a cabinet from Cabinets Etc. Initially, we found the owner cordial as he helped us to pick out the cabinet to match the existing cabinets we have in our home and we were given an estimated delivery date of approximately 5 weeks. The 5 weeks came and went and we never heard from the owner so we called to inquire as to the status of our delivery, he told us that he hadn’t received it yet but that he gets his deliveries every Friday, so we began to call him on Friday afternoon to check the status. The call went something like this, “Hi ___, this is ____ and we are just calling to see if you have a status update on our cabinet?” His reply, “No, nothing this week.” End of conversation, no problem until about 2 months after planned delivery date we called and to our surprise received a very terse reply that the cabinet wasn’t in and that “he will call us” when it does arrive. Fine, we will stop our once a week 1 minute phone call and wait for him to call us. Three more weeks pass without any word from the owner, we decide since he doesn’t want us to call we will write a letter asking for either the cabinet or a refund. Shortly thereafter, we got a call from owner saying our cabinet has been in for 3 weeks and he didn’t have a phone number to call us to let us know it was in. Imagine our frustration, that he told us not to call him but he doesn’t have our number to call us, besides, the cabinet was prepaid and he had our address and could have stopped to tell us it is ready or just delivered it. To his credit, he did offer to deliver it when we arrived to pick it up. We installed the cabinet, then we noticed it looked small on our wall. Using a tape measure we found it is not the size we ordered, it is smaller. So, back to owner we went looking for a solution. We suggested that since it is already mounted and we have had so much angst (almost 3 months) getting this that we would settle for a refund on the price difference between what we got and what we ordered. His only solution to us was to take the cabinet down, return it, and wait for the correct cabinet to be ordered and delivered. We have never known a reputable retailer refuse to take a customer’s reasonable solution to their mistake and punish customer further by subjecting them to this process again. So, please do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else, the product is fine, the owner/proprietor was/is the obstacle, we will never purchase from him again and will advise others to do the same.
Cabinets Etc has provided cabinets for two projects, a bathroom remodel and a few years later, a kitchen remodel. He had a computer program so we could see his and our ideas come to life before the work began. Quality work.
