Nice quiet little coffee house. Reasonable priced offerings. Had the London Fog and that was yummy and new to me. The yogurt bowl was good but not enough yogurt ! All the fruit and especially the granola overpowered what little yogurt was there. It was good though.

We loved the art on the walls and the blends of coffee were great but the wait for three drinks was a bit too long.

This place was great! The coffees we had were super yummy and fresh. The bagel was also really good. The decor was very cool 🎃

I’ve been a customer at Front Street for well over 15 years. They have the best sandwiches by far, over any other establishment in the area. Always fresh and tasty. I can honestly say I have never once had a bad sandwich. And while the faces of the employees change with the times, they are always pleasant, professional and fast! Keep on rocking it.

Cute coffee shop with local artists on display and a wide menu to choose from. I had a Cafe au Lait and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

This place gave me the most disgusting iced coffee Ive ever had in my life. It was bitter and watery, barely tasted like coffee, and left an acrid aftertaste in my mouth. I only gave it more than one star because the food was edible and the staff was nice.

I got the regular coffee here, the darkest blend available on the table, and it barely tasted like coffee. A step above sugared creamed water. Maybe I got a bad batch, but boy was it bad. People and atmosphere were nice enough though.

Beware the eggs and bacon are microwaved, its a crime against eggs and bacon. The staff barely acknowledged our existence. We should have walko around the corner to Reds Sandwiches instead. The bagel sandwich was inedible as the bacon and eggs were rubbery. And my cappuccino? Burnt.

I have been coming here for years for a morning coffee/latte/cold brew. Always great, and I feel sorry for not reviewing until now. That being said....The lunch menu here IS AWESOME. Im quickly working my way through all the sandwiches. Perfect quick lunches every time.If you are looking for something out of the box, or your favorite sandwich of all time I beg you to call Front St or stop in and order one. You will not be disappointed.

Have been here twice. Visited SALEM, MA from Maryland and this is our go to coffee shop. Clean, cozy and awesome people. Awe from the busy tourist section but close enough to the action. Highly Recommend!

Amazing Coffee. Tried the Coconut Roast with a Red Eye. Very relaxed vibe with local artists work on the walls and comfy chairs to rest. Best coffee in the area. Wish I had more pictures, too busy enjoying the atmosphere.

Amazing spot with great food, coffee and camaraderie. This was nearly the only place my coworkers and I would go for a sandwich and chips (not to mention two pickles!) for the nearly 2 years when I worked in Salem center. Look no further than Front Street cafe for a lunch you’ll love that never disappoints. My favorite order is two bagels with double chive cream cheese and extra sprouts on both!

This is a quaint little local coffee shop. The coffee is good and decently priced. They also have delicious tea. Service is great and friendly. Two entrances for easy access and a couple tables for outdoor seating. I enjoy the glass straws that are being sold as well.

I’ve been a patron of this business for over 22 years. When I was in high school I used to enjoy coffee here and listen to local bands play music on the weekends. Now that I’m a mom, I take my two boys in every Friday morning for a smoothie before school. The owners can often be spotted behind the counter working along side their employees, laughing and sharing small jokes. The entire staff consistently lavishing small kindness on their guests weather it be a small kindness a staff member shares with one of my children or the owners themselves taking the time to ask me about my small business. They know EVERY one of their customers. Literally. These folks are truly invested in people and in our community. I look forward to every interaction I have in their presence. They are a staple business in a Salem. You will never find better service anywhere. If you need me, I’ll be drinking coffee at Front Street!

Chris and Brenda are great owners, and the rest of the staff are great and very efficient when there is a crowd. I have been coming to Front Steeet for over 20 years and could not be happier with the service and the delicious food they offer at reasonable prices. A real asset to Salem!

Super chill vibe with a fast working staff! This place somehow find the perfect balance for a coffee shop with a fast paced staff making coffee, sandwiches, and smoothies all the while keeping a relaxed attitude and comfortable atmosphere. The interesting rotation of art also takes it up a notch.

They always take the time to get my order right, the soup was hearty and delicious and the sandwiches are always good. They have a lot of tea flavors to choose from and the coffee and hot cider were just what we needed today to keep us warm.

Always great coffee, great atmosphere, great lunch and bakery goods here. Also, there is always a chance to score some art from local artists that they hang on the walls. One of my go to placestrundling around downtown Salem.

For a quarter century, this coffeehouse has been the beating heart of downtown Salem. From the weekend music shows in the 90s to being at the forefront of the wifi hangout afterwards, this place always serves up delicious strong coffee and great food. May it remain forever, as well as the band stickers on the telephone pole out front.

This is the best coffee place in Salem. They have the best prices and their coffee tastes better than the big chains. Theyre a local business that locals love. They dont have dinner food or alcohol, just cafe drinks, bagels, sandwiches, soup, etc. They get a little busy around lunch but theyre pros at making the line move fast. The light for the bathroom is on the OUTSIDE of it and it always confuses tourists, its a weird New England thing.

Id love to meet the folks who gave this cafe anything less than a 5-star review. The owners and workers are top-notch and the vibe is just right. Its hands down my favorite sandwich and coffee shop in Salem, but even more than that the owners are just exceptional ppl.My 11 mo was making a stink while we were getting situated and there was a line out the door and the owner asked if she was hungry and he cute her up a bunch of fruit. I also heard them help out a few other ppl while we were eating. Ill always patronize Front St. And look forward to good food and supporting great people.

Fill out a customize your own sandwich slip of paper on the counter. The grilled tuna with your choice of toppings is great. They all come with a pickle and your choice of either chips or grapes.

The neighborhood coffee shop! A lot of the staff became great friends of mine. Always great art, affordable and delicious wraps, smoothies, bagels, and salads, and they know how to make good coffee. My favorite place to sit, have coffee and lunch, and get work done on my computer.

I enjoy coming to this coffee house. Its in the heart of Downtown Salem. I may not come out as much as I used to, but its so picturesque to be able to site at a table of a sidewalk of a cobblestone street.The coffees and café drinks are fabulous (my go to is the Big Kahuna ‍) and they have a limited but wonderful selection of breakfast sandwiches and a decent pick for bagels. The Almond Joy is also quite tastyI also enjoy the art up on the walls, its a nice little place to hang out, unwind, chat, and stop long enough to smell the roses before you have to rush off. The staff are always pleasant, oh and they have a rewards card that gets you $2 off. Its something lol.
