While I first heard about Cafe Shine because they open their doors and provide a free meal for the homeless once a month, I was pleased to know that they serve EVERYONE during their regular business hours. Such a nice relaxing atmosphere inside. Easy handicapped access, and a better place to catch a meal than the food court in the mall. Such a clean, caring and classy little Cafe that is easily overlooked if youre not aware of their peaceful dining experience. Quick service, great food, affordable, and nestled right in the middle of the downtown shopping experience. The fact that they also give back to the community is just the icing on the cake for this little jewel in downtown Salem.

Cafe Shine makes the best darn white mocha breve out there! Add a little whip, and youll think you died and went to Heaven. The baristas are always pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is fabulous for studying, meeting with friends, or meeting for business!

Friendly staff, good coffee and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go there very often if I didn’t live across the state! Highly recommend this place.

Really love the atmosphere! Big venue, lots of place to sit and study, or have meetings! Really good coffees, love their dirty chai’s. Also, have really yummy baked goods made in house, and easy grab and go food. Tried the chili and quiche... really yummy!! Looking forward to more good things from them :)

Amazing service and atmosphere. Who would have thought that trying out the coffee shop across the street instead of the usual Starbucks would turn into a blessing. Awesome!

I so wish this place was still open. I have NEVER tasted better chocolate. Loved it. I wish people would have been a bit more aware of this coffee shop and kept business up. Hopefully it will open back up!

I’ve really enjoyed the lavender white mocha or the iced blueberry hibiscus tea.... that’s really yummy. Defiantly coming back!!

Few places have an inviting atmosphere, quality drinks and great service. Not only is this place a great place to hang out, it also invests in the community. The owners are a part of a ministry that reaches out to less fortunate community members and feeds them quality food. Highly recommended!

Its been open for a short while, still in their soft opening I believe as I write this on 1/10. But the venue is amazing, gorgeous and the have it set up as if for live music, with a stage and plenty of room. Ask for a large Cubano, its delicious. Also, the cafe leads to The Prayer Room, a Christian reading room. Lovely staff, alot of potential.

Very nice barista!!! She was welcoming and very good at her job. The coffee and scones are wonderful and the layout of Café Shine is beautiful. Will definitely be back again!

Tried to grab a coffee here multiple times, but they never seem to be open. If you are going to take up prime downtown real estate, you should try to provide more for your community!
