I moved recently to new area and wanted to transfer my prescription to new location. The pharmacist greeted me and happily changed my address information, answered vaccination ability, educated me about other alerts I might meed.The cashier greeted me and welcomed me to neighborhood. Thank you, staff.

I called to set up a Covid booster. Reached automated msg. Filled out all requests and scheduled an appt. The site gave me a date and time for my shot. The day of my shot I recd a text to come in at 10 am instead of 10:40 am. Showed up at 10 and pharmacy told me we dont have any boosters!?!?Why did I get a date and time to recieve the shot if its not available?Reminds me of a favorite line in a song,You can get it now but, youll have to wait!Makes no sense to me to do business that way!! ??

My elderly mother needs a booster for covid and made an appointment weeks ahead of time, and arrived on time only to be toldthey dont have any available doses and then after asking her to wait around tor twenty minutes in the seating area, told her to get in line to wait her turn. She was the only person there when we arrived and became the 6th person in line. She cant stand for extended periods and already waited and for nothing.Why take appointments and then force elderly to the back of the line instead of treating them like a patient? Why give appointments for vaccines you dont have? Total incompetence and callousness towards our most vulnerable community members.

Frequently have problems filling prescriptions here and in the last couple months it’s almost impossible to get anyone there to pick up the phone. I just spent 15 minutes trying to call tonight and still haven’t gotten through. Same thing happened about a week ago.Their staff is friendly but the pharmacy has really been going downhill for some time now…

The pharmacist at this location is very rude I had called in my prescription and spoke with a person that worked there that person told me my prescription would be ready in the afternoon so I came down that afternoon and when I got there I heard the pharmacist talking about me asking “why do these people not listen to the automated system and wait until the next day like it says?!!” She said it loudly so that I could hear but she was in the back then she came out to the front to repeat this to me extremely rude! I told her that I never called the automated system because I didn’t have my RX number that I called the store and that the employee is the one who told me to come down this afternoon I also told her that she should not assume that people don’t listen and that it could be an error on their part she rolled her eyes and was extremely rude every time I have ever gone to this pharmacy the pharmacist has been incredibly rude to me and the only reason I’ve continue going is because it’s the closest pharmacy to my house that accepts our insurance I really hope that the company decides to look into who they have working there and realizes that they’re going to be losing a lot of customers if she continues to work there

Don’t trust the South Salem Rite Aid pharmacy with your medication and health. The way I was treated by their staff directly was appalling. I can’t even imagine how they are when they think no one is looking.I feel compelled to warn people about using this pharmacy after encountering the most unprofessional pharmacy staff in my entire life. There’s a Walgreens across the street and you’re probably better off going there.I received a partial fill on my prescription at this Rite Aid and based on every single time I’ve received a partial fill in my lifetime, I assumed the rest would be ready in a few days. I gave them a few weeks and decided to call about the rest so it would be ready before I ran out.It’s a pretty mild medication—it’s not like I was asking them to refill my hillbilly heroin after two days. The employee who answered told me I had to wait four more days to call it in. Again, they originally gave me a partial fill—I was not asking for anything that I had not already been prescribed. This was strange to me so I asked for more information. The employee I was speaking with quickly became upset and short-tempered. I needed to better understand what was happening in case I needed to contact my doctor.I wasn’t raising my voice or acting at all hostile—I was using my normal adult indoor voice. Sadly, the same cannot be said about the employee I spoke with. After about 30 seconds of me trying to better understand the situation, the employee cut me off mid-sentence in a manner I can only describe as demeaning and hostile. She told me I’d just have to wait and hung up on me.I have never been hung up on as a customer in my entire life. I was honestly stunned considering I hadn’t been anywhere close to disrespectful or out of bounds.I stress that I was not asking for them to provide the rest of my partial fill right away and I would have been fine waiting four more days. I was concerned that because they were out of stock the first time I got it filled that they wouldn’t have it in stock if I had to wait until I was almost out. Regardless, I would have been fine waiting. This employee didn’t give me a chance to even explain that, choosing instead to act like a child and shout and hang up on a customer.I make it a point to be polite and respectful to others on the phone. To be hung up on like that is not okay. I called them right back and the pharmacist answered. I told her I wasn’t even calling back about the prescription but to get the name and info of the employee and manager.The pharmacist seemed oblivious to this person’s behavior. I hope they’re not that oblivious when dispensing medication. Suffice it to say, I won’t be returning to rite aid to find out.

Worst customer service I may have ever experienced. I tried calling multiple days to get my medications transferred from a different pharmacy due to a change in insurance. Every time I tried to call I was SO rudely put on hold. “RiteAid Pharmacy. Hold.” Then click. Where I sat on hold for over an hour each time with no answer. I work full time 8-5 I cannot wait on hold for over an hour to simply ask a question.So I went in yesterday. Patiently waited over 10 minutes in line only to basically be insulted and told that they have a right to treat customers in a rude manner because they are understaffed!? That is no excuse. The female pharmacist proceeded to argue with me about basic customer service.As someone who has been a general manager of a restaurant and now works in social services I think I know a thing or two about how to treat people with basic decent human respect.After this supposed professional proceeded to waste both our time as well as other customers time by getting defensive and insulting me multiple times I told her I would go to another pharmacy, which I did.I chose to go with Fred Meyer and received quick, friendly wonderful customer service...with a smile!Do yourself a favor, do not go here. There are plenty of other pharmacies in the area that provide much better and quicker customer service.

I think that this is the best pharmacy i have dealt with. The employees are great, very helpful and kind. There fast at filling my medications, i never have to wait and there are no mistakes. I dont see what people are complaining about. KUDOS to you Rite-aid.

The most rude and unprofessional pharmacy workers I have ever dealt with. Had my back fused less than 2 weeks ago and am having problems getting a dose of pain meds that makes me feel comfortable without messing me up. Needless to say, my situation was not clear cut and a bit unique. Well instead of asking any questions or trying to understand my situation the pharmacist was not just rude but treated me as though I was some junky off the streat trying to pull off some scam. Its hard enough dealing with the pain Im in but to be treated so horribly by a professional made it even worse. Very frustrated and think the staff need to take some courses on ethics.
