Love this place. Bagels are fresh and tasty. Cream cheese is made in house and the price is perfect!Whether its picking up a dozen for the kids or enjoying a breakfast sandwich, Bagel World doesnt disappoint. They are always busy but they keep the line moving.

This place is unreal. You cant get better sandwiches for a better price. Bagels baked fresh all day. The line is long in the mornings and on weekends- go in the afternoon or after 9am on a weekday youll fall in love.

Best bagels North of Boston and at very reasonable prices. Wide selection of bagels including classic flavors like egg and pumpernickel. Only down side is the line inside and the drive through can be quite long.

While my rating tells you I think youre pretty perfect, heres a suggestion brought to you from northern NJ, where they are everywhere. Black Russian Pumpernickel Bagels. They have both unsweetened cocoa and raisins in the dough, and are topped with sesame seeds Thanks for considering this. While I love caraway seeds, they tend to burn when baked. Theyd also be better in the dough than topping the bagel.

Bagel world is a must have if you like being able to pick what bagel and what you want to put inside it. I love coming back to order a bagel from them cause of how simple it is get my order. I also love their smoothies because of the flavor. My favorite smoothie is Mango and if you love Mango they make it right in front of you just so you know that they choose the right fruit for you. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing bagels, but the drive thru is a disaster. It took 25 minutes to get through 6 or 7 cars and the line backs up onto Canal street. Not to mention they ran out of everything bagels so this 36 week pregnant lady couldnt satisfy her craving! So disappointed this morning.

Great bagels. Great location. Painfully slow and unnecessarily complicated ordering process.To the owner, please bring in a process engineer to assist you. At times I think your process is so bad it is literally putting people in harms way, my back in traffic up onto the street.

Dear Bagel World owner—want to double your revenues? Redesign your store, website, and drive thru. You have the best bagels on the North Shore, even folks in Boston rave over them, but the problem is I don’t have 25-45 minutes to wait in line. Both the drive thru and the store lines need to move faster. Half your store is filled with empty tables that even during pre-pandemic times no one sat at. A simple redesign would do the trick—have another identical bagel bin area and check out line, have full online ordering in your Salem store. Your parking lot is huge. Create another drive thru bay. There are several options that wouldn’t even cost much! Pay your workers based on how fast they can move customers through the lines in addition to a hourly rate.I’m not alone. I visit your store maybe 4-6 times a year. I would visit 4-6 times a month if I had the time.

A great selection with fresh bagels and foods, they have a lot of options not just in the bagel department but food varieties toppings and everything else their staff is quick friendly and understanding. It was my first time here just a few days ago and even with all the restrictions due to the current pandemic they they handled it well and were able to deliver quality products in a timely fashion.

Great place to get a good breakfast or lunch on the go. Their food is excellent but their drive through really needs improvement. You can order inside and the line moves relatively fast. Great food but long wait.

Bagels are amazing but really terrible service which makes it not always worth it. I almost never attempt the drive thru line because once you’re in you’re stuck and it moves so so slow. Inside the cafe isn’t always better. The employees are usually having personal conversations, rarely paying attention to customers. There’s one woman there who is very friendly and efficient, the rest sure take their time. There’s always a crazy line and it has very little to do with demand and more to do with the sluggish pace of the staff. Wish they could figure out how to run the business a little more efficiently, then I might go more often. For now I stick to visiting establishments that carry bagel world bagels so I don’t have to deal with the hassle.

Fast service, great coffee

First time there and my last. Im giving one star because thats the minimum it allows me to give....Me and my fiance walked into the establishment, and were immediately yelled at across the deli by a young girl behind the counter about how only one of us could be in the building for our order. We were put on the spot and embarrassed. It was made clear to everyone inside the building that we were in violation of some rule that we wernt even aware of. Mind the looks we were getting from other customers.We tried to explain to the staff that we both had disabilities, and that I couldnt leave my fiances side as shes prone to having seizures, but the staff would have non of it. They just didnt have a care in the world.Im still deciding if I will file a complaint with CDC and the ADA. Absolute discrimination against two disabled individuals.

The drive through is so badly managed that they have a sign that you must not block the road...I rather parked and got out to order. I was expecting something great but it was really just an average bagel place with limited selections. The bagel itself was good and fresh I bought some separately...Might be just me but I had much better bagels elsewhere.

First time trying this place and tuna melt in bagel, and everything bagel with cream cheese was everything and more. There was a line and it was busy. Its fine though I get all the hype.

Great bagels! Service is relatively fast and friendly. Good variety of both bagels and toppings/sandwich fillings. Budget friendly, too.Beware of drive-in -- food is individually prepared, so you might get caught in line for longer than youd like. Better to just park in back and go in.

We go here all the time. My favorite is the egg salad on a sesame bagel. So good! Gary’s is an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Service is fast, just park and walk in if you don’t want to wait as long. Side note- smoothies are great- and surprisingly good iced coffee. Way better than dunks- and I’m a big Starbucks fan but you can’t beat the prices!

The bagels and prices are great. The staff need to do a better job of listening to customers. They need to be watched to make sure the get the orders right. The route 1 staff seem to be the best

I love this place sandwiches are always good I wish the staff was a little nicer... I was there on Friday morning I bought a half dozen for the weekend I had to tell the woman twice what I wanted and you would think after the second time they would make sure it was correct well I just opened up the bag and my order is half correct... The staff talks to much with each other instead of paying attention to the customer.

Bagel World II doesnt stand up to the great NYC Bagel shops (like Essa) but they make a pretty damn fine bagel! This fact is no secret, so theres almost always a line out the door. The bagel sandwiches are well worth your time, and if you arent getting more than 4 prepared bagels, you can use the drive through which can sometimes be a faster option. Best bagels on the North Shore.

This place has always been great. I think their bagels are some of the best I’ve ever had. Once in a while the staff isn’t perfect and some things are microwaved but overall very good.

Great fresh bagels and a HUGE selection. Fast and nice servers. Local dairy and juices available in many flavors. There was a long line but thats to be expected with a hidden gem like this. Heads up though, leave the kids at home. Youre going to want to streamline your visit. If you have kids you know that wont be your desired outcome.

The bagel sandwiches were good, the girl who helped us had The personality of a wet sock. I never been there Before He wasnt in the mood to go through with me. They do so much numbers they dont care about the individual. I wont be back.

This is the best place for bagel. Food is always fresh and ready, they will cook your bagel in front of you and make any desire towards your food, come true. Be careful though, during the school year, the line goes all the way through the whole store, but staff, works really fast, so you wouldnt have to wait for too long. Offers healthy and vegetarian options as well!!! Love it, would advice to try to everyone.

Great food and service. You can order and eat inside or use the drive through. There is very little parking out front, but more ample parking out back. Lines can get long but still move along during peak hours.

The line is always 20 -45 minutes long and So not worth it just for a bagel in the morning. Pretty unfortunate because the bagels are good but you will always regret going and wasting your time waiting in the longest slowest line ever. Can they come up with a better system than competing with the drive through?

This breakfast stop is one of the top easiest and best places in Salem. While its a little out of the way of downtown Salem, the Bagels are made in house and are freshly made everyday ( you can watch them from the counter in open air). Sometimes especially at busy times the line can be very long to wait in but if you can get over it, which you should, give their double sausage egg and cheese a try.

I have been going to this establishment for a quite significant amount of time and I have never been treated so disrespectfully. The woman behind the counter was so rude. She was yelling accusing me of not being on the line. I was on the line and I approached the counter as soon it was my turn. She overlooked over my shoulder and completely ignored me. She started a senseless discussion instead of taking care of the order putting me in a humiliating position. The manager was asked but she was reluctant of supporting our complaint and couldnt handle this situation. Upon the request of their names I was totally ignored several times. I have been trying to contact the owners Marilia or Peter in order to get resolution to this unexcusable situation.

Long lines good food

There is parking in the front and back and a drive thru--go through the drivethru--their everything bagels toasted are amazing. I Wasnt too thrilled about their sausage, egg and cheese. They just put it in the microwave and then put it on the bagel. But smoothies are great. All in all everything is great just the way they make the sausage egg and cheese (I thought they used fresh eggs).

Love love love the egg bagels here omg. All the bagels are great, so much variety. Theres almost always a line which is understandable. There are usually 4-6 employees in there and theyre always working hard. Theyre awesome!

Locals are obsessed with this place. Theres often a very long line going out the door as well as a long line of cars at the drive through. The people there work quickly and professionally, so some people think theyre rude, but they are just hilariously efficient and mean business! The bagels are not some fancy hipster stuff but good old fashioned quality variety.

The food is really good. When someone brought back their order when it wrong the lady put the bagel on rack. She didn’t throw it away. She was going to sell it to someone else after that customer touch it. That gross and should never be done.

If i could give this place more than 5 stars I would. You cannot get a better bagel anywhere. I recently moved away and I miss this place so much. I actually requested some to get sent to me. There are no other places like it. When you go in on a Saturday you will be waiting forever, but hey, it is worth it.

Their bagel sandwiches are amazing! I get all the veggies (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sprouts, red onion) and usually turkey. The egg salad is good too and the breakfast sandwiches are terrific! Also, their coffee and iced chai are delicious!
