This body shop took care of us and our car from start to finish!! I dealt with Justin and he made sure our car was never left outside and the paint matches perfectly! We took it in for rust under the paint on the hood and Justin was able to get it taken care of under warranty!! They know how particular we are and just took the extra mile to get this car taken care of!!! We had to add the stripes 30 days later after the paint cured and it looks AMAZING!!! Thank you!!!!

The story of my experience today with these folks is too long for here. Suffice to say that they helped me out with a small but important (esp. to me) body work challenge and they took care of it on the spot and did not ask, nor would they take, anything in return. And I had never been there before. That is how you earn loyalty immediately.

This shop told me they weren’t able to perform a simple bumper repair on my Audi, when the several other shops I went to said it was no problem. The lack of repair experience at this shop would have cost me ~$1000 for a new bumper at the dealership. Incompetent shops like this will cost you more.

I bought a used canopy for my truck, i called Brian and got a amazing quote i was surprised by the price he was able to beat the cost to get it wrapped! Great experience at Trachsel getting my custom Jeep repaired after I hit a deer and it made a mess of the front end. Justin was fabulous in getting an estimate, working with my insurance and keeping me informed of the progress. I couldn’t be happier with the repairs. The paint is spot on perfect and the manager made sure everything was just right and taken care of when I picked it up. BTW extra bonus that it was cleaned and vacuumed.

Took my car the for repairs. First they said about 2 weeks. Then it took 3 week to get it done. The night before pick up I got a call from the owner. While taking it to get clean the hit the wall inside the shop. The whole back driverside had to be fix. So it was another week out. Got my car back they said they had it clean. It was the worst clean job. Plus the didnt put the inside trim on just paint it. Didnt match the another door. The driveside door ( which was part of the original repair) outside trim was falling off. So I had to take it back to be fix and the inside. They fix outside trim, but didnt order all the right inside trim. So had to comeback again

For many years now Ive used Trachsel Body and Paint for any and all of my auto body and paint needs, this includes virtually all of my immediate family members who may or have needed the best and most reliable body and paint shop in the area. I was rear ended back in September 2019, and this was the recommended place for me to go to for repairs. Which definitely was a perfect suggestion! Everyone was super nice. I want to make that clear for sure! The work they did was perfect (cant even tell I was in a car wreck). They even cleaned the inside of my car. Which was a huge bonus considering I was clearly too lazy to. And after all this time. I will still write a five star review. They deserve it! They fixed my car in opt time. They also made sure to inform me of everything I needed to know and answered any questions I had. Exceptional quality and care taken with a truck that has been in the family for generations! We had been wanting a new paint job for this special truck for a while and knew that Trachsel had the best reputation in town. We were very fortunate to be able to have the paint job done at Trachsel as they don’t normally do this type of job, but because they made it a priority to keep their employees employed during the COVID-19 pandemic, they made an exception. Greg was fantastic! He walked me through the process of how to get my car fixed after my parked car was hit by a drunk driver. I received updates often and he even called and had a rental car company come pick me up,( apparently this is something the insurance company was supposed to set up). The body shop initially quoted me a week maybe longer but they had my car fixed in 4 days! Amazing!!

Overall I had an amazing experience. From scheduling to communication Greg was fantastic. I was able to get my car back in the estimated repair time, didn’t have to deal with insurance, and he helped coordinate my rental. And of course the quality of work was superb. Highly recommend this repair facility that is not affiliated with an insurance company. The work was done with my best interest in mind.

I had previously used Trachsel to do a paint job on a recall I had on my car for the paint about 2 years ago. Honda had me take my car to them and was very pleased with the job they had done.I came back to Trachsel this year after a car accident I had in June. I haddamages to my front bumper, AC was punctured, hood and more damages afterpulling it apart. Again, they did an amazing job! I couldnt tell the car had been in an accident, it was perfect! John was the person I communicated with and responded quickly to all my questions and emails on beginning to end, thank you!I recommend Trachsel for any one who is looking for excellent body work on your car with a group of staff who are all very friendly and helpful. The manager Justin was very unprofessional. I parked my car on the street and walked up to ask if I may use their restroom. Understandably it was expressed that it was for paying customers only. I asked if I was a paying customer if I may use it, Justin eyed me up and down and said no. You need to be a paying customer AND have a car. At this point I was willing to go get my car and fullfill his additional qualifications to use their restroom, but he turned around mid sentence and shut the door in my face in the middle of our conversation. I did not raise my voice once and conducted myself certainly more professional than he did. I wonder if I would have been treated different if I didnt have tattoos and a skateboard? Im unsure as I didnt get the opportunity to try their shop, and was refused the opportunity of service. I will be bringing our Escalade elsewbere for the estimate. These guys are the best. We had our Honda hit by a garbage truck when it was only 2 weeks old. They did a fantastic job. We then had someone rear end it a year later and they again did the best quality work. You would have no idea it was ever damaged. The employees are so VERY helpful and insure you that you are who they are concerned about. Brian, the Owner, is wonderful as well. He goes out of his way to take care of you. Their new building is really nice as well. I would recommend these guys.

I had smashed up my front bumper pretty bad when we had the snow-apocalypse this past winter. I took it to several shops trying to get a good estimate that was within my budget. Sadly, I was quickly made aware that my budget was unrealistic. Im a pretty transparent person and working with Trachsel was exactly that. They showed me everything from how much they were getting the new parts for and how much of a discount I was receiving. Amazing service, they got the parts quickly but werent afraid to shop around, and they provided me by far the best price. I ended up saving at least $800 compared to most shops. The quality of the bumper was great too! I took it to ~10 places over the course of 3 months and did my own shopping around too. This was the best place available in the Willamette Valley.

If you think having major car repairs after some poor man decides to turn left from the right hand lane could be easy, then your right. After you climb out of your car, check people and surroundings and then allow reality to sink in that your car is a mess, an non-drive-able mess....you panic. I was referred to Trachsel Auto Body and Paint and called them right then and there in the parking lot. Did I mention I was crying? I was. I have never met a group of individuals who are so kind, compassionate, caring, professional, efficient, etc. What else can I say. Their customer service was beyond perfect. Bending over backwards to get me a car to drive home in that day, arranging a rental for me later that night. They fought with the insurance company, I did nothing. I just waited for my car to be put back together and when it was it was good as new. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the good people who work for it. Thank you Trachsel. I hope I never see you again, but if I have to, it will be a pleasure!

Havent had parts painted yet, but I got my appointment set. The estimator that came out was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and gave me a lot to think about. He provided advice and even gave me his number to call anytime if I have questions about anything paint related. Its not the cheapest place to go, but theyll do the job right and wont settle for anything less than perfect. Id highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs paint or body work. Would rate higher than 5 if I could!

Justin was great help, but they all were awesome! They made sure that I was taken care of and happy with the finished product. My tail gate and hatch work like new. I hope I never get rear-ended again but if I do I will be back.

I have had three cars worked on by Trachsel in the last eight years. I was newish to Salem the first time and was trusting a friends referral. All three visits were for different issues/needs. Their work is superb, and the customer service is superb. They are cheaper than many of their competitors -they provide a lifetime warranty--for as long as you own it--too!

They did great work on my car! Two days after getting my car back with its new, freshly painted bumper I accidently shut the garage door on it. I was so mad at myself! I took it back to Trachsels and they were able to sand out the scratches and fix it for no charge. In fact Greg thanked me for making his day because I was so happy! They really have amazing customer service and I cant recommend them enough!

NEVER GO HERE!! I had to bring my car back here 4 TIMES because they kept trying to send me home with a car that was not fixed back to standard!! My car was brand new when they had to fix the driver side door. They apparently had to take the front bumper off for this and instead of using the clips my car came with they reattached it WITH TWIST TIES!! Like the ones you see on a bag of bread. Save yourself time and stress by not going here.

Holy McMoly these guys are the best! After having the worst experience with a different auto body shop Trachsel stepped up and just did a damn good job. My Nissan Rogue looks amazing and I couldnt be happier. We wont be going anywhere else for any other body repairs and will recommend them highly to anyone who will listen.

Over charged way more than the estimate

I went to this place today, and I feel like. I was given an overpriced estimate. For repairing my car. One of the repairs wouldn’t even require new paint. But yet I was told it would cost me nearly $700 to get out a small dent the size of a dime. That’s crazy.

After taking my car to 2 or 3 local body shops, even my own trusted mechanic to replace the broken torsion rod in my trunk, NO ONE would touch this job. I was told everything from its very dangerous, lots of tension on those rods, its gonna cost you hundreds of dollars, youll have to take it back to the dealer, youll have to use a mop handle except when I pulled into trachsel. Greg was excellent in every way. They had my new rod in. Less than 30 minutes later for less than $50. Im very appreciative and also very suspicious of the other body shops etc I attempted to seek service. For my next car repair that no other shop can, or will take on ill be going back to trachsel. They have proven to be honest and reputable. Where as every other local shop apparently was dishonest with me since this is clearly a very do-able job. Thanks guys, this really saved my neck.

My vehicle was sent to skyline ford without my consent. Broken Glass was left in moonroof. Trunk was flooded with water and left to mildew. Personal items ransacked. Motor unrighteously violated. Car NOT detailed per quote and items strung everywhere. Items missing. 30 additional miles added to odometer. Car kept 2 weeks with final billing quoting 1/2 hr labor. I was treated with disrespect when these facts were pointed out..how you ask?..with patronizingly attempts to make inexcusable unbelievable stories as to how any of them could have happened, but of course only after trying to convince me I dont know my own car that Ive owned from BRAND NEW for 7yrs and have always done my own maintenance!! Not so fun experience, seems i have Trachsels kryptonite... An aspen white sentra. So to start my fiasco... I brought my car in after it was rear ended and a few days later i got my car back. Color match was way off, it was way to bright, not enough coats of pearl i guess. We scheduled it to be repainted and dropped it off again. 2 days later get a call saying the paint match was as close as they could get it. Turns out they were waiting to get authorization to blend the color onto the quarter panels after we specifically said no. Picked up the car again just to make another appointment a couple days later after the paint match drove me to near insanity... Dropped it off, 3 days later we pick up the car. Paint match was close but still off. Upon close inspection i noticed they painted over a cloth fiber or hair and what looked to be dust as there were little volcano like bumps in the paint. Made yet another appointment, and went to drop the car off. Surprise! the loaner was a manual when we were waiting for an automatic. So back home and a reschedule yet again. Finally arranged an appointment and dropped it off... again. Picked it up 1 week later hopefully for the last time, paint match is closer yet but still not as close as factory.... Overall a rediculous experience.... Any aspen white 2015 sentras thinking of going here.... Mine took 5.5 coats of pearl and ask for new bumper brackets so your bumper will sit flush with the quarter panel, at this time mine does not. I am tired of not having my car and tired of the b.s so i am just going to deal with it. Hope you have better luck than i did...
