We were told when would be a great time to bring it in, estimated service time, and that the vehicle would be in great hands. I recently got hit from behind so I decided to take my truck here for repairs… SAME SERVICE! My daughter was in an accident on July 27th due to no fault of her own. The person who hit her has Progressive for their insurance coverage. Our Farmers insurance agent recommended a different body shop and the shop said it would probably take a month before they could fix her car. I called another body shop and they told me I couldnt even have it towed there until August 17th! We asked the Progressive claims person if they had any recommendations and they recommended Hyacinth Collision Center. We are so glad they did! Their service is just..... WOW! Brent answered every question, was proactive in communicating with us, and they did an excellent job on her BMW. We picked up the car yesterday (which was way before our time line expectations) and it looks great- they even washed it and vacuumed it for her! Brent also has a really good sense of humor which is helpful when people are going through an unfortunate time. I got side swiped at Costco in June, Im so glad I picked Hyacinth from a list of in-network shops covered by my insurance company. Brent and the team did fantastic job, my vehicle looked superb! I definitely recommend using them for any bodywork needed!!

Initially I felt confident with my choice to go to Hyacinth. I now realize that was a mistake. My car was completed on time, which I appreciated. However, I learned that the door handle, which was replaced, didn’t open from the inside or outside as soon as I got home, without touching it. I took it in to get fixed, and they did it, but after a bit of time I found out that the damaged molding on the passenger door/window was not fixed. After convincing them that it was from the tree branch from the original incident, they said they would fix it. They ordered the part and told me to come back in a week or two. I did, but when I came back, they actually didn’t have the part, and their “parts guy” wasn’t in. He told me to come back in two weeks when they had the part and the parts guy was in. I did exactly that, but the parts guy was in a car accident and wasn’t able to work, which I understand, but the owner said to come back the next day as the parts guy would be there. I did that, and he wasn’t there. I understand if he was injured, which I’m sure he was, and I really hope the guy will recover soon, but they still didn’t have the part. I was fed up at this point, and I asked them to send the part to my house. I put it on myself, and it was easier than pumping up my own tires. It took me less than two minutes. I also found out that my automatic wipers don’t work after they replaced the windshield. After talking with the owner, he said I would have to file a separate claim with my insurance agent and take it to a dealership, even thought they were the ones who worked on it.Basically, I have been to other shops before, and I didn’t have to go back several times, nor did I have to petition to have my car fixed. Very disappointing.

I couldnt recommend Hyacinth enough. I got rear ended back in December and opted to go through the other guys insurance for damages, Im so glad I picked Hyacinth from the list I received of in-network shops. They kept me updated on what happened every day that they had my car, they did fantastic work, they were quick. One of the guys, I think it was Brent, even knew a little sign and was able to communicate with my husband while I was busy. I dropped my Mazda off in the morning, they called me shortly after to go over what they were doing, how long it could take, and let me know they would check in. After having my catalytic converter and a gasket stolen, Hyacinth Collision replaced everything and had it ready to go within two days! The car sounds even better than before and they even cleaned the inside and outside leaving it spotless and smelling amazing! They were quick to work with my insurance and I had no problems at all!

After a small incident Hyacinth Collision Center was an amazing choice to take my vehicle for repairs. They finished ahead of schedule and were very forthright and explained everything in detail. Had them do the repairs on my truck after a front end accident, since they were state farms prefered shop. They didnt do that good of a job while fixing it. They arent mechanically inclined at all they had to have a third party shop do all the engine stuff ie turbo intercooler, radiator ect. They get all the work done and have me come look at it to make sure it was all fixed right. So i went to look at it and there were about 5 issues that needed to be fixed. Not sure how they thought it was done. They claim that they have a lifetime guarantee on all their work not true. I had a aftermarket bumper that had to be welded together and painted. Not even a year later the bumper is rusting due to their poor paint job. So i have them look at it to fix the issue they said no problem we will fix it. So i drop it off to them to have them fix it and now they claim since it is a aftermarket part they wont fix it. And filed a claim with my insurance to try have my insurance pay to fix their shotty work. They cut corners so they can make more money. I would run far from this place if you need work done

Ill update this once we get our car fixed and returned..(see update at bottom)Im not sure how other reviewers are praising communication but so far Ive found communication lacking. I was told twice that we would get a call about the status of our vehicle and yet no call ever came. The vehicle had been at the collision center for over ten total days (6 business days) and not a single phone call.I finally called today and found out that some information had been miscommunicated regarding insurance. The insurance company had formed an estimate but had failed to communicate that with the collision center. My wife an I had never been informed about any estimate from the insurance company and I would assume that the collision center would have contacted progressive for the estimate since it seems progressive always did I this way. So why wouldnt they have been familiar with the process to contact progressive for that estimate already? I dont know. We were never told there was some difficulty here, not until ten days later (6 business days) when I called for an update on status, at which point work in the vehicle still wasnt started I think communication had been breaking down at every step here so far. The insurance we were going through is Progressive (through the at-fault driver), so I dont doubt that the red tape may be lengthy.When we dropped the vehicle off, the staff was very friendly and helpful.However I dont think, right now, that excuses the fact that we hadnt heard a single thing since dropping the car off about what was going on with the vehicle, and while in my mind I had already assumed the repair may take up to two weeks, now it looks like it may stretch into three weeks.I dont think telling a customer you will call and inform them of whats going on is some new responsibility that suddenly popped up and got forgotten in daily bustle of work - it seems to me it would be a regular part of the job thing to do, and yet we didnt hear ANYTHING until i called them myself this morning. I had even called three days ago (I called on Friday april 23) to ask for a status update and was told they could call be me back later that day and yet I didnt receive any call then, either.Maybe this is because of COVID? It seems like many businesses are having trouble with follow-through in calling back, and this is the next one on the list..UPDATE: I got my car back today (May 10th) three weeks after dropping it off, Brent was great and explained everything and why some things had taken longer than expected. Once they had began work, they called about once every 3 days with updates, so that was good communication. Brent truly wanted to kake sure we were satisfied and shared info with us honestly which i appreciated. The work looks very good. Not perfect but good (some trim pieces are a bit misaligned) but thats ok because the car is up there in years anyway so its acceptable and ots still better condition than it was even before the accident. Keep in mind perfect really can only apply to a show car or a new car anyway. However, I did also run into one small issue so far in that my key doesnt work in the door lock anymore (door was replaced but they maybe didnt use the original hardware?) So we will have to give them a call about that, which Brent said we should do if we encounter anything. I would say this is a great shop.Ive updated my review to five stars because I noticed also that they repaired a bunch of small scratches that were on my rear bumper, that could have been considered not to be involved in the accident damage. To me that was going above and beyond to get a clean repair, I am very impressed, the back of my car even looks newer.The honesty, the willingness to listen, and the extra work they did, I think deserve the change to a five star review

Great folks here. My sister and I both ended up getting hit in the same month, they went above and beyond for both of us.I went twice, had the car back less than a day when someone hit it in a parking lot. They imitated a NASCAR team with how fast they got it back the second time, I think theyve got an employee with ESP. Foresaw how much Id hate my rental car, and got my machine back to me faster than I thought possible.Took more than a decade up on this side of the state before it happened, but we found our familys go-to repair center.

I called in to do a repair report he only asked me what insurance is this for and i told him he just told me why wait me time and youre time just send the pic to the insurance they dont care if i do the report or you do and he was just the rudest person on the phone do not recommend this company bad customer service

Brought my Tundra in after an accident with another vehicle. Brent promised he would get my truck back to me good as new and he was correct. The repair work looks great and was completed quicker than I was quoted. It looks so good you can’t even tell it was in an accident. The BEST auto body shop I have ever used, took the car in on Friday was ready on the following Tuesday. The repairs were outstanding, car is like new! I will never go anywhere else! I ran into my daughters car while backing out of my driveway last week. I took my car in to another place and they said that that theyd need to take off the whole panel, replace numerous parts that were adjacent to those damaged parts of the body and blend those to make it all match. Their estimate was about $2,100 for a couple scuffs, two chips in the paint and one very small dent. I understand that that is the way the repairs must be done in order for all the paint to match but it still seemed excessive to do so much work for so little damage. The attending auto body repairman at Hyacinth Collision Center, I forgot his name, came out and looked at my car and told me that I should first get a quote from my insurance company. They hadnt told me that. I asked if something could be done to clean off the paint scuffs and he told me how to do it myself and not to waste my deductible on this one. His suggestions worked well for the damage and it is barely visible now. I appreciated his honesty and expert advice. If I ever do have a repair that will need professional work I think I would go there. Thank you!

Im an Oregon certified and licensed auto appraiser. I inspect vehicles daily for auto body repair quality mostly regarding diminished value and improper auto body repair claims. To say this place goes above and beyond would be a gross understatement. After being rear-ended, Brent was genuine in explaining the process to me and prompt on getting my vehicle into his shop. I took it in at around noon on a weekday and had the vehicle back around the same time the next day. I brought my car to Hyacinth after an accident and payment by my insurance company. Part of the payment was for body work, both structural and cosmetic. After  Brent, the owner took some measurements he told me that the car did not need the structural body work that was suggested by another auto repair shop. And since my car was 15 years old and had a number of dings in it already, he suggested that I not have the cosmetic work done as well. So basically, he took a lot of his time to tell me the car was fine and needed no further work. I appreciated his obvious knowledge and, most importantly, his honesty. I couldnt recommend him more highly.

I got my car back two days early and was really excited about the service until I got home and realized they hadnt fixed the fender Id asked for them to fix and Id pay extra for. They also completely missed that my hood was dented and 1/4 of and inch crooked from the accident. The owner apologized and said he would fix the fender and took pictures of the hood for my insurance and kept asking me if I trusted him. A few hours later I received a phone call from my insurance saying that he told them the damage wasnt from the accident but from me slamming the hood (Ive never opened the hood) so now I have more of an insurance mess Thank you for lying to my face and taking advantage of a young woman. Great business practiceIve since realized they didnt put the entire bumper back on my car just the first piece. Theres an entire seperate section they failed to replace so now I have another part to order.

By far the best Collision center in salem!!!! My insurance wanted me to use another company called kadells since this is my first time dealing with any of this I took there advice but they were rude and didnt have any opening until June! I called around and everyone was busy and didnt seem like they had time until I finally called this collision center. Brent was amazing and made me feel like no question I asked was a dumb one! This company truly does care about you and getting your car back to you in a fast timely manner. Its only been one day and They are already almost finished please dont waste your time with any other collision center this one is truly the best you can take my word for it. totally 100% hassle free no joke!!! After we were rear-ended in our 2015 sedan, we first went to a chain shop in the area whose name rhymes with Fidels. Their estimate and attitude were... less than satisfactory, so we went to locally-owned Hyacinth Collision.The shop manager took one look at the first estimate and called it a joke.
