We went in here with a large budget for an area rug. Initially passed off to a salesman. This guy basically gave a rundown of the differences between synthetic and wool rugs, with comments about pricing The whole attitude was you cant afford the good stuff. He pretty much pointed to the rugs and told us to look. By this time we werent really overly interested. We left. We DID find a rug at another merchant who was more than happy to assist us and treated us well.

We bought a mattress and box springs for a guest room. Upon delivery one of the delivery guys noticed a hole in the cloth covering the bottom of the box spring. He noted the damage on the ticket and that a replacement was needed. He apologized for not seeing the damage when loading the truck. He even suggested a box spring we may like better for the same price. I called the store 3 or 4 days later and spoke to Clayton. He didnt seem to know anything about the damage and said they would have to schedule another delivery. Its been 3 weeks and no contact from anyone. Its not a big deal, but I do think its very poor customer service. If they arent willing to deal with an issue this small and easy,what would happen if you had visible damage to a nice piece of furniture? They do have some nice furniture at decent prices, but just be aware that there may not be any customer service if you have an issue.

I ordered a $1000.00 leather recliner. It took over 6wks to get! Then the buttons that reclines the chair failed! Call for replacement they would not warranty it only had Chair less then 2 yrs. it been almost 6 months and still don’t have the replacement parts.Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Overpriced junk!! Never again will I even drive by there place!!

Really lovely furniture. The store wasnt crowded, not with customers, as it was raining. It certainly wasnt crowded with salespeople either, as I took myself through two buildings alone. I want to stress that the furniture was lovely. However, if you cant handle stairs, and tight spaces, you might be in trouble there.

Very nice in stock items on the floor. Best dining sets ever. Furniture and beds excellentI really like the super comfortable natural latex mattress I bought here. Kinda heavy lifting corners to change fitted sheets but the sleeping comfort worth the effort! Nice people too.

Another reviewer had the same experience we had. There is one particularly horrible salesman who made us so angry that we pretty much just turned around and left. My husband and I had questions about furniture brands with sustainably sourced materials and no flame retardants etc, and he started grilling us about what kind of mattress we sleep on, ensuring us it was full of formaldehyde, so why should we care about the sofa? “I thought you’d care more about high quality and low price.” Wow. Never going back.

5+ stars from this family owned business. These folks sell QUALITY product at GREAT pricing. Have purchased EVERY new piece of furniture in our house from them and have no complaints. This is all USA made solid product. Clayton and his father are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was very disappointed with the service and I made countless follow up calls on my order. Each time I called, I was told it will be picked up and delivered next week which never happened and they did not call me back to give any status updates. When part of our order was finally ready to be delivered, my husband went by the store to pay and the owner made a very degrading comment toward women who collect payments. For whatever reason, he must have thought it was safe to share this comment with my husband - NOT! I will not shop at this business ever again.

So I went here looking for a leather sofa. A salesman took to where they were, I immediately saw one I liked. Asked they price, and he said, this one you can buy off the floor for x amt., but u can also buy it new. Added that I can pick different leather too. He said he would leave me to look around a bit and would be back. Well there were only a couple that interested me ...so I went back to the main building to find him.I dont know if I was interrupting his lunch or what, but when I inquired about the warranty and construction of said sofa he got snippy. Stated some facts..8 way hand tied..etc. At this point I no longer hear what hes saying, because of his rudeness. He did say that the floor model would be as is. So I asked if I bought it new...what was the warranty. He said 1 yr on leather, 5 yrs on frame n cushions. On a 3000.00 or better...sofa. REALLY !! He was so rude with is words and his attitude. I quickly left. I have no problem with paying that price...I can go to a small place 5 miles away pick out my style, leather, cushions, and pretty much design my sofa for anywhere from 2800..to 3500. And have a lifetime warranty for the original buyer!I guess the salesman at The rug mattress and furniture store doesnt need to make any more money this month!! His loss!

I have used this store for rugs, furniture and outdoor furniture. I would not use them again and I would not recommend to my friends. Twice I had trouble with getting delivery of ordered items when promised and I was very patient with all the date changes. I never received the outdoor furniture after waiting 10 weeks - twice as long as originally promised. They are very frustrating to work with and I do not believe all the stories they told me because it was different each conversation. My experience with Better Sofas has been completely different and I highly recommend them.
