Standard Meat Company is a fantastic place to work. They take care of each employee as we are a family. A rarity to find now days, SMC supports putting God first (or whatever your beliefs are), Family Second and Career third. They have supported what ever practice you choose (religious or not) and truly encompass the family environment. SMC supports every kind of person!In addition, they care about the safety and health of all workers. Arrived at 0715 for a 0800 appointment. Had to wait about an hour for a door and was unloaded in about the same amount of time. So total, was here about 2hrs. Not bad, was impressed. The biggest problem with this place is the entrance and exit situation and to add insult to injury, other drivers are your biggest problem trying to get in and out of the docks. When you arrive, the sign says shipping and receiving is to the left. Its okay to go that way but youll have problems with blindside backing if you do. The docks are on the right side/passenger side of your truck. If you go straight and turn left at the second turn, look for trailers parked in a drop lot, youll be in a better position for parking and getting into the docks.

Every time fast. Checked in at 5 am. Empty at 6:30. Thank you, guys!👍

Wife works here it pays the bills, but so far really good company to work for

I was lucky and got in rather quickly, but seems like they open when they want. Get in early if u can to park. If not you will probably be here forever. 1 dock specifically for unloads, 1 lumper for you as well. $200+ lumper fee. BEWARE of the speedway aka parking lot. People like to race their tin can 4 wheelers through. Super fun times.

Showed up at 8am with a 9am appointment. Backed me in right away and was unloaded in an hour.

The most poor and recisist group ...poor service and bad magement...i never seen one hour break any where alse expept this discusting place👎

There is NO staging area, you will need to park in the fire lane against the curb once you get inside.This is a small place. There are employee cars everywhere. There is a sign that says Shipping and Recieving but if you turn in that entrance, it will make it where you will be blind trying to get in the dock. There is no room to turn around inside. You will need to turn around at one of the other businesses across the street. If you decide to go to the end of the street and turn in the other entrance/exit, you will actually be facing the right way BUT sometimes a truck will park against the curb where you need to turn so it may be too tight to make the turn, again you will probably need to turn into the business across the street and then drive into Standard Meat. If you are late, they may reschedule you because they are usually so busy that they may not be able to fit you in.

First time there. They opened the door at 0500 checked in, once got in a door only took a hr to unload and get paperwork. They were only unloading from 2 of the door but it was quick in and out.

No truck parking and the facility is not truck friendly.

The lumpers were fast, so you get a good rating from me. Thats all I ask for.

Had the privilege of working for this company. Best company I ever worked for they really care about their employees they were there for me though my hard times Johnathan Sevell head of QA was a great boss pleasure to work for him Jennifer Porter in human resources is very good at her job gonna miss all those wonderful people just wanted to say thank you standard meat

Terrible place to deliver at. They are VERY SLOW! I’ve seen the employees take at least 15 smoke breaks since I’ve been here. Been here 6 hrs already. The people in the office sit around and talk/laugh out stead of work. Seems like they’d put a little hustle in their step (no sense of urgency). My company has to pay me detention, which I’m going to tell them exactly what I witnessed. I

The people in the office would much rather play around with each other than actually work. I’ve been here since 430 am and I’m still not released. Lumper fees are out rages, then the limpets leave and tell you the bills will be ready in 15 mins. The lady at the window says oh he says that to all the drivers and we don’t know how long it will take to scan the product in. Here’s how we play that game from now on, you don’t get your lumper fee till bills are in hand.

Check the inside of your trailer before and after they load.The only good thing is I was able to check in early and get loaded out early however they messed up the inside of my trailer.

Really don’t deserve a star rating... Worse place to drop a load in DFW... Been over 24 hours and still waiting to get unload...

What a P.O.S. place. Palce will load you up with out dated products. That will get refused by the customer.

Their open 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening after that you have to wait till next day to get loaded
