Staff are almost always super friendly and helpful. A couple bad eggs, but youll have that everywhere. Great prices for the most part. Im a frequent flyer there.

Great products but service was slow

I recently bought a clothes dryer from them. We got the first one home and it was damaged. So we took it back and exchanged it for a new one. The main reason I am giving them one star is because I lost my receipt to send in for the rebate and when I went back there to see if I could get it reprinted, they said they are not able to. I talked to corporate after that and was told the same thing. So now I am without my 60 dollar rebate. I will never shop at Menards again!

Went to Menards for some drywall and as another person said they are almost always friendly, except this trip. Cashier barely was able to tell me my final price. Went out to the barn for the drywall and none was were I could reach it. Had to find. a forklift driver. He got it down, I asked if he could help me load it as I have herniated disc in my neck and he rolled his eyes and drove off.

The store is great, with the major exception of their perpetual 11% rebate. They probably did tons of market research, to find out 11% is the number where the majority of people, are just too lazy to fill out, and mail it, then cash a paper check. It feels like a greedy cash grab. So I avoid menards whenever possible. You can find the exact same stuff, similarly priced at the orange or blue stores.

I really like Menards, but weve had some issues with orders. We have been waiting for one since February for four cabinets. Things have been ordered/reordered due to damage or we have come and not all our order has been there. I feel like their system should be revised for pick up orders in terms of receipts so you know exactly what you have gotten with an itemized list of what you have and what you still need to get. Then they need to print a new receipt to show the gate attendant. We have had a lot of issues with the gate attendant here at the Saginaw location due to our barcodes on our receipts no longer working due to reordering. Then he gets mad at us. It just needs to be better.

Very clean and the store was well stocked. 10/10 would come back here again! Associate named Mario was extremely helpful to me.

If you are reading a Menards review you probably should just go and check it out. They have a good selection of items. It is a little difficult to find a sales associate but this is common at big box stores.

Had everything i needed then go to check out and forgot my wallet at home so i attempted to use google pay. They dont accept google pay and workers have not been trained on how to use google pay. Its almost 2021 where almost everything is electronic and virtual. If small corner stores can have it for costumer convenience they are surely able to afford it.

Menards has a wide selection of hardware, lighting, household items, building supplies plus Brachs Bridge Mix. Staff are in general friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. It is a wee frustrating when prices are not displayed for products.

I placed a store pick up order. Then I got a message that they were out of some of the items and had been placed on back order. I went to pick up the rest of my order and had been charged for the whole order!!!!!I was never asked if i still wanted it they just charged my account the whole amount! then the lady told me in order to get a refund I had to go back to the return area.WHAT????? This store has gone downhill the last two years. There is no specificity where items are located. There is constantly carts with product waiting to be shelved in the aisles. The employees are absolutely no help either. Their products are subpar at best.

The staff has really been lazy and very little help throughout the store. Ordered $700 in laminate flooring, then I was sent to two different stores for my order because No one pulled it from the shelf and set it in back, instead it was sold before my pick up date. I make an order for lumber at the contractors desk, check out and drive back into the lumber yard and they have nothing I ordered 10 minutes before. Sent to another store again,

Every time I come to this store no one wants to help load anything. Today, two Hispanic males in the outdoor lumber area sat and watched my husband and I try and load a huge bundle of styrofoam insulation. I just had major surgery a month ago and can’t lift anything. This store is good at taking your money but don’t ask them for any assistance with anything.

Needed a lamp, got a lamp. Some lady asked if I worked there, I said nope, but it was nice.

I love shopping at menards over the other big box hardware stores. Menards always has what I need for projects at lower prices than the other big stores. From simple light switch cover plates to whole roof projects, menards is my go to place.

Found what I wanted in the garden area today. In and out, checked out quickly.

They have pretty much everything I need plus their prices are very competitive.

Think of walmart plus home depot, they have just about everything here. Friendly staff and seemingly short wait lines compared to walmart. No booze if thats what youre looking for. Smaller assortment of goods on the account they just about everything. I enjoyed my visit.

Their COVID rules do not follow cdc guidelines, which include exceptions for those who cannot wear masks for medical reasons. Including employees. They advertise an enormous rug selection online, and carry twelve in store. Their tools are Chinesium’s worst stock, and their staff (especially after losing that Hamman kid in their back lot) is filled with extremely rude and unknowledgeable individuals. Will never shop here again, even though I love their lumber selection for miscellaneous uncommon cabinetry woods. Do not shop with this company! Bad juju.

Dont order anything from the Saginaw store. You pay for delivery and the goods. Then we dont have that. Well have to order it. Well have it next week. Well deliver it on Monday. Then you get a partial delivery of an item. Not all of them. Sent by FedEx. Then the store tells you theyre delivering this afternoon. When they dont show they tell you that they dont even have a delivery guy. Dont know when theyll get one.

The associates at Menards are especially helpful and go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for

They didnt have my birthday gift

Me and my two boys went to Menards today. We were all wearing masks and gloves, my boys 7 & 12 were denied access because their age. The security guard told me it was for their safety and they would have to wait in the car. Really OMG how is that their call, my kids are the safest when I am there to protect them. I’m appalled guess I will have to go to Home Depot for now on.

We wanted to buy plywood. We walked all they way to the back of their outdoor lumber yard to find what we liked. I took a picture of the price tag So I could just tell the cashier what we wanted then drive around to get it. She informed me that wont work so we finished making our purchases, took them to our car, walked back inside to the hardware counter in the back of the store, told them what we wanted, walked again to the front of the store, stood in line again to pay for the wood, then got in our car, drove around to the back after waiting in line to be let in the gate, loaded our wood, then waited in line to be let out. Yes, run on sentence on purpose. In the end, the price was cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot, but we had to sort through far more pieces to find usable lumber Between lumber, online purchases, and mail in rebates, Menards excels at making simple things unbelievably complicated. Brick an mortar stores cant afford to make things more complicated than online or delivery shopping.
