What a great little place. Friendly staff (theyre a family) that was more than accommodating when I came in for the first time and didnt know anything about what they offered.Great prices and great options! Will definitely be back to enjoy again!

Overall had a pleasant experience with the staff at the restaurant. Very kind people. There are many different options when it comes to selecting what food you want to eat. First time stopping in here, will come back in the future.

I have driven past Daddy Dawgs probably 1000 times over the past couple of years and never thought to go in and check it out. I was making a huge mistake. Daddy Dawgs has a very New Jersey boardwalk, greasy spoon vibe, and I love it. The hot dogs are REALLY good, and the waffle fries were well seasoned. I would recommend the Ruben dog or a good old fashioned Coney Island dog. Their ice cream selection isnt anything to scoff at either. They have a friendly younger staff that were polite and helpful. Its also a plus whenever I can shop local at a spot that deserves my patronage. If you have a chance, I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Small, simple place. I had the chili dog with cheese and it was really good. Hit the spot for what i was craving. The waffle fries were big and very fresh. Fair pricing too. The staff was welcoming and gave my daughter a stuffed animal to play with.

This is a great family run business with an awesome menu of food and ice cream! Growing up in Jersey, I love Hersheys ice cream, I get the chocolate packed in a pint for home.Nathans hot dogs... yes, please! I grew up with these also, red onion sauce and spicy mustard! They have a lot of choices for both food and ice cream, even something for your pups!Try the brewed root beer float!

Amazing shakes made with real ice cream tons of flavors. Hot dogs are great, but my wife and I tried cheeseburgers and were a bit disappointed, the patties were pretty cooked. The dogs dont disappoint, still highly recommend trying this place. Great customer service.

Very pleased with my first order. The dogs were really good, buns were soft and warm, and the fries were just how I like them (not to soft, not to crunchy). I did Uber Eats, so I can’t talk about the location itself, but my order was made quickly and well put together.

Absolutely delicious!! I have been looking for a place similar to Dog-Etal (best hot dog joint back home) and did not disappoint! They have every type of hotdog and specialty dogs, cold root beer on tap in the best cold mugs, perfect waffle fries, and ice cream! I had the foot long all beef dog and able to customize my toppings. I’m pretty simple- ketchup, mustard, raw onion, and shredded cheese! DELICIOUS! They split the hot dog almost all the way & grill it! Will definitely be making this a regular spot! Don’t forget to order the root beer!

This place was a great little find while we were in town! I got the Chicago dog (excellent) and also made my own version of a Carolina dog! Both were great! Staff was super friendly/helpful. Also, Hersheys ice cream for dessert!

My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we discovered Daddy Dawgs. We moved to Florida years ago from Chicago area and missed easy access to a good Italian beef, and more importantly (per my wife), a good Chicago hot dog. They serve Taylor Street beef and any type of hot dog you can think of. They also have a wonderful assortment of ice creams which they use to make shakes of your choosing. Plus, as an added bonus, the have Sprecher root beer on tap, which is a staple if you have been around southeastern Wisconsin. I highly recommend Daddy Dawgs. The food is good (better if you are needing a taste of the windy city), the staff is extremely friendly, and the menu has something for all. We are looking forward to trying other menu items. Dont let the strip mall location scare you away - this is far more than a hot dog stand and worth adding to your dining out rotation!

We went for ice cream which they have a really great selection of. The vanilla and orange swirl is great. Im sure the hot dogs and other food items are good too.

Lathered in chili, liquid gold, and the soft underbelly of a ripened swine, this delicacy filled my heart with a neverending joy that was only strengthened by the deliciousness of the ice cream that was consumed thereafter. I gratefully approached the counter, ready to pay any price for the infinite goodness that was given me. But lo, the price was also good. To quote one of my heroes, Dr. Lazarus, “By Grabthar’s hammer, what a savings.”Best place we took the kid during the whole trip, highly recommend.

We stopped by here after seeing the advertising truck driving down the road. We were greeted immediately. Staff was friendly, the prices are great. The waffle fries are delicious. Plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. Planning on trying out the monster sunday in the near future.

All the toppings you want no extra charge. Brownies are amazing.

Kids working the counter were nice. Only ordered a soft serve cone. Nothing to brag about. Small place, was hit by the smell of old grease walking in the door.

Ice cream scoops were HUGE and prices were cheaper than any ice cream place I’ve tried in the area. I was happy to see that because it seems any time you go out for ice cream anymore, it’s about $5 or more, even for a small/one scoop. Here, you can get a small (although a large scoop size!) for just $2.30. Two scoops is just $3.30, and trust me, it’s huge. I’m not sure if anyone would want three scoops because the scoops are so big, but they have that larger size, too. And if you like a regular sugar cone, there is no extra charge for that (or cake cone, of course). We are looking forward to coming again for ice cream and to try their vast array of hot dogs. They also have other types of sandwiches and subs, even grilled chicken skewers. Oh, and they also have root beer on tap fresh brewed, to my understanding from the menu. We are also looking forward to giving that a try one day. I’m so happy to have finally tried this place. Reminds me a little of places like those we had growing up in the country...and I simply love the prices!

Small shop but a large menu. Food was hot, delicious and not over priced. Specialty dogs like, pretzeldogs or mac n cheese hot dogs. I especially liked dessert (see picture below) a fully customized banana split. We were waited on by Justin today. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He even had a few jokes! Id recommend the brown butter truffle ice cream, its to die for!!

We were looking for a place that really specialized in hot dogs. Especially Chicago style. We had vienna beef hot dogs with poppy seed buns. They were delicious. You can go there in person or get the food delivered through doordash etc. They also have Italian beefs,burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, icecream sundaes, icecream soft serve cones/or cups, shakes, malts, floats, even doggies icecream for your dog. This place is in a small strip mall. Really good food etc. They are located at 3101 State Road 580, Safety Harbor,Florida 34695 / Se Corner of SR 580 and McMullen Booth Road. Try this place you wont be sorry. You will be glad you did. Great service & kind people with smiling faces.

I was super excited to try this place as Ive passed by it for years and it has really good reviews. When I saw it on Uber Eats, I decided to give it a try but unfortunately my experience wasnt as good as the reviews would make it seem. Granted, I understand that part of the issue is with Uber Eats which is why I gave 2 stars and maybe I would have been more impressed by going in to the store, but the waffle fries that I saw so many people raving about are cold and flavorless. I got the sabrett hot dog which is also cold and nothing special. I also ordered there fresh made Root Beer, which is room temperature with absolutely no ice. So I paid near $20 for a meal that I am completely unsatisfied with. If you want good waffle fries, just go to Chick Fil A. If you want a good hot dog, go to the hot dog stand outside of Home Depot. Both are cheaper, better, and faster.

This was my first time having Daddy Dawgs, I ordered The Foot Long, Prime Angus Beef, Half - Pounder to be delivered by GrubHub. I dont think I will order this again. I ordered toppings of shredded cheese, chili, coleslaw, chopped onion, mustard. The toppings were very skimpy and I couldnt tell if my slaw had been Added. The hotdog just did not satisfy the taste I was expecting. Also notable: This hotdog is supposed to be 1/2 lpound, this was no way a half pound hotdog.
