This is a interesting cafe, a tasteful blend of historic Safety Harbor with the ambience of southern comfort. It offers a large well ventilated covered patio, wrap around exterior seating with cozy limited indoor nooks for doing work or for a more intimate setting. Its an established local eatery that serves its own blend of coffee (served piping hot) with beans harvested annually from Costa Rica. All ordering is done outside. The food was flavorful, pricing was affordable and the service was welcoming and friendly.

What a cozy little place, inside & out! Very nice friendly people who take customer service seriously! The owner is sweet as can be & works hard! Unfortunately, since Covid, theyve had to change their hours of business, here & there! My sister loves the coffee! I dont drink it, myself, but she loves it & prefers it over Starbucks! Ive eaten there twice & always very good! Great place!

I was very impress with this charming place. The siting area is center under a tree, and around the building. Service was very effective, one cashier, but if it get congested they right away open a second one. No lines. The food was very good. We had a guava cheese waffle, tiramisu waffle and banana and pecan. Presentation was vertical, very unique. Flavors were balance and complemented.

We made our way from Brandon to adventure ourselves into Safety Harbor for a bit and enjoy the picturesque downtown. We ended up enjoying a bite at Cafe Vinton Tinto, we had a Cafe con Leche and a Mango Lemonade to start. The coffee was good, but Ill remember to skip the cinnamon next time. We also ordered the Mediterranean Frittata and the Corn Bread Waffles. These were very tasty and generously portioned. We enjoyed our meal outside and were kept cool by a battery of fans. Definitely a nice experience outdoors.

Incredible little spot. Staff is super friendly, they own their own coffee farm in Costa Rica and roast everything in house. They have all kinds of infused teas and make all their syrups in house. You cant ask for a more fresh cup of coffee. The patio is well shaded and great for hanging out.

Delicious waffles, friendly staff. Not 100% sure the meaning behind the name Cafe Vino Tinto, but worth checking out. The wild berry waffles were very flavourful, and the guava ones were good as well. Numerous options to choose from, but not many major variations (multiple berry options). They also have several coffee options to pair with your waffles. Would love to see maybe some more combo options or syrup/whip cream condiments, but overall would come back again.

Amazing. So glad I kept walking past the Starbucks on Main street looking at the restaurants and shops. I walked right past this one Cafe and immediately stopped and turned around.The aroma of their Coffee was like an invisible wall for me.The employee at the window was very friendly and informative. She told me about their beans and that they grow in their farm in Costa Rica by a waterfall, hint thats why its called waterfall coffee.They also make some of their own syrups and lavender vanilla sounded devine. They have 1% milk as an option, much better than non fat milk heated. The coffee was amazing, smooth and fragrant and I didnt not need to add another shot.I couldnt resist and I bought a bag of beans to take home.They also have a breakfast /lunch menu and the cutest little seating area outside.If your in Safety Harbor and need a coffee I highly recommend this spot. Ill be back.

This is a very popular place and consistently busy on the weekend. The wait staff is friendly. However to be honest I felt the waffles were quite plain. Good concept, but needs more fanciful “flair”. For example, the blueberry waffle, add some blueberries or other fruit for the garnish! For the cornbread bacon waffle, give me a piece of bacon! One other complaint, the syrup provided is CORN SYRUP, not maple syrup. I expect that at McD, but not here. Still, 4 star experience, and great to bring friends to for a brunch. Delicious and sweet flavors of waffles. I tried the lavender and vanilla syrup and didn’t love it in my iced coffee, but that was a me thing. I absolutely loved my tiramisu waffles. Sweet without being that sugary sweet. And the whipped cream was the piece de resistance.

Nice cozy place, this place makes you feel like you are in France or New Orleans. Unique and relaxing to enjoy the weather with a great cup of coffee. There is no inside seating, but do have covering if the weather is not as desirable. Price is decent but the environment just nice.Update 8/1/21It has been a year since last visit, they moved to a new location which is a couple blocks away. The indoor seating still closed but plenty of covered outdoor seating. The service and cleaning are excellent, so as the coffee & food here.

Coffee was great! Vibe and atmosphere was fantastic! The cheddar bacon biscuit may not be what youre thinking - its biscuit material with bacon and cheese blended into it. I didnt realize it was in the category of pastry until after I got it. It was ok but I was expecting a biscuit with bacon and cheddar on it. Wife had waffles but because they were served in a styrofoam container, condensation had taken away the crisp of a fresh waffle and replaced it with soft, not quite soggy waffles. Still, would eat here again.

I love this place. Ive been a half a dozen times now because its a middle meeting point for a bunch of my friends.The coffee is great, both iced and hot, the staff are all super friendly, and the food is tasty. Ive had the lemon squares and a couple of the waffles and all were good. They also have drink specials every day and Ive tried a couple of those and the Samoa latte was amazing. I still dream about it!They have a cute (and large) outside area, parking out back, and are dog friendly.I definitely recommend!

This is a great place to visit! Waffles and coffee are to die for, and this place so fits the casual and cute vibes of Main street Safety Harbor! As someone who grew up in this town, it is a welcome addition and just SO worth the visit. And now they serve mimosas, etc!

The coffee here is really good! I had mine with sugar only as a cold brew and it was not acidic, it was smooth. They also have Coffee ice cubes!They do some food items, including a for Todda which my husband eight and said was very good.They have seating inside, and restrooms, but they also have outdoor seating on a patio or if you brought your dogs, you can sit under the oak trees.This Sunday morning when we were there, there was also a family yoga class on the lawn nearby.

My parents and I dined here for fathers day breakfast. The place was packed on Saturday and we knew we had to come back on Sunday for breakfast. The crowds were well deserved. My mom got the Mediterranean frittata and it was delicious. Stuffed with vegetables and cooked perfectly. My dad and I got the waffles, him the mixed berry and me the seasonal peach cobbler. His was amazing, stuffed with blueberries and fruit garnish. Mine was less impressive, but still good. The peach cobbler was just a peach yogurt type sauce to spread on the waffle. They gave us our orders in to-go boxes, so we had to put our orders together ourselves, so Im not sure if they would have plated it differently.The main draw was definitely the coffee though and it was perfect. We all got a hot brewed coffee. They offer blonde, medium and dark roasts, but they give medium by default unless you ask. The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all. I drank mine black with no cream and sugar and it was delicious. They also sell their own whole beans, Ill definitely be picking up a bag whenI need more coffee.Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast spot. The courtyard had a lovely atmosphere and the coffee and food was delicious. Make sure to get here early though, it was packed by 8:30am on Sunday.

EDIT: NEW LOCATION!! It’s been an amazing journey for these folks. From a small coffee shop that consisted of a tiny space with a tiny window (I remember when they started and all they served was brewed coffee), to a new location with an expanded menu. This new place looks absolutely beautiful; they restored an old building on Main Street and decorated it tastefully with local art touches. The staff is amazing and it’s been so heartening watching them fulfill their dream. Café Vino Tinto is a staple of Safety Harbor and a place that makes one feel a belonging in this community. And as always, their coffee is delicious and waffles are out of this world good.——————————————Awesome coffee, and weekend waffles are amazing! Staff is awesome and friendly, and they really contribute to the community feel with their coffee shop. Plus, there are always doggos outside with their humans...amazing place:)

This is a must-go if you’re in Safety Harbor. Skip the chain coffee, Cafe Vino Tinto’s coffee is much tastier and smoother while still giving you the kick you need! The staff is friendly and the line always moves quickly. Their food is impressive as well; I normally enjoy the protein bar even though they have an assortment of delicious waffles and frittatas. I’m not certain if they still have it, or if it’s a special, but the tico wrap is one of the best food items I’ve had in all of Safety Harbor. I strongly suggest stopping by!

Ate breakfast here today. Accidentally walked into the building no sign stating no service inside. My mask was barely below my nose and staff was like panic mode. Saying Pull your mask up and go out front to order. We went outside to order at the window and staff who had just scolded us about are mask were taking orders with their mask below there nose till she saw us then pulled hers up. Lol. Had a Carmel latte it was good. Ordered the breakfast burrito. It was a big disappointment. The eggs were rubbery, hardly any meat, the tortilla was chewy and just disgusting. My husband ordered blueberry waffles. Not a lot taste. The sauces were good, but the waffle itself was bland even with the berries in it. First disappointing meal in this quaint little town.

Weird thing to complain about but everything was piping hot...I know some would see this as a good thing, but we had to sit for about 20 minutes before we could eat and drink. Really good coffee and decent chai. The guava cream cheese turnover was five stars! My husband got a biscuit and wasn’t too impressed...we are from SC so was expecting something big and flaky. Overall great experience!

This hidden gem in Safety Harbor is THE place to go for breakfast, coffee, or iced drinks. My wife and I went on a recommendation from our neighbor. We rode our bikes through town and stopped for a bite where I had the key lime pie waffles and all I can say is holy ship! These might be the best waffles ever. I also had the hibiscus green tea and I think I chugged that down faster than a drunk frat bro during pledge week. That was so good!! I actually drank my wifes too (sorry honey). If you want REAL coffee (not a $5 cup of hot milk) with delicious food, Cafe Vino Tinto is the only choice. The staff is also delightful!

Ive been a loyal customer of cafe vino tinto for going on 2 years now, recently they moved a little further down the road and at first I was distraught but today I stopped into their new building and I have to say. WOW!!! I never knew I could feel at home in a coffee shop! The indoor (no seating yet) area is beautiful, I went inside to use the restroom, which was immaculate!Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and got the lemon square, be forewarned it is chilled, it was a little sweet for my tastes (but I paired it with black coffee) but oh my god was it amazing!So happy for the peeps at CVT, friendly staff, great coffee & a beautiful building!

No decaffeinated coffee, because they have their own roaster, I was told. So I had a regular cappuccino. I have to say it was one of the best tasting coffees I have had in the Tampa area. Full flavored. Local roasting definitely can produce the best results, in my anecdotal experience, including this time. Waterfall was the coffee brand. The place itself was decent if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. The inside did not appear very comfortable. Freindly barista and casual vibe.

Great coffee, when you order the iced coffee. The ice cubes are made from the coffee. So when youre drinking your get pure coffee, all the way through and it doesnt get watered down.

Thoroughly enjoyed this coffee spot while visiting Safety Harbor. Our dog loved peoplewatching and lizard hunting:) The wait staff was super friendly and food was great. We tried the Original Frittata and the next day we had the Cornbread jalapeño waffles! Yum! The lemonade latte was the best, too!We will be back the next time we are in Florida.

Wonderful location on Main St in Safety Harbor for a local coffee spot. Indoor seating (currently closed due to COVID-19) as well as a spacious covered outdoor patio. Dog lovers be warned not to bring your four-legged pal into the outdoor seating area. The menu offers all you need for a quick caffeine fix and pastry snack. Depending on the day, you can also grab a heartier meal: choices include various Belgian waffles, a breakfast burrito and frittatas.

Love this new location with updated outdoor seating! I had the lavender, vanilla latte and garlic cheese puffs! So delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

Really upset at this business for leaving a handwritten note on my husbands car stating we will be towed when we frequent both Dazzled Boutique (weve spent almost 1k there) and Cafe Vino Tinto for coffee and spent money there and skipping Starbucks even when they were in the old location near Gigglewaters. We are locals and will NEVER spend money at Cafe Vino Tinto ever again.

Upon taking a stroll in Safety Harbor I saw a long line gathered outside this cafe. I ordered a caramel iced latte and it was fabulous! The price was very reasonable compared to many chain coffee shops I have visited before. I am excited to go back!
