I had a really good shopping experience at this store in Sacramento. Mark and Kimberly helped me choose my gear and they were very helpful and kind. This is not common anymore nowadays so I was pleasantly surprised that I was treated nicely by all, including the cashier. I will definitely come back to this store in the near future.

Very clean store. Very good selection of gear and helmets. Prices are decent as well. Selection of leather riding jackets and vest is small though. Last time i went there was almost nothing in stock. We need to keep shopping in real stores to keep them open. Its too hard to order online and get a good fit for anything.

1 hour in the store trying boots -- nobody came to help. I grabbed a guy at one point, asked a few questions.. he knew nothing on the boots, so I just googled the reviews... I got some off-road boots very expensive ($390).. I was not sure if they were going to work on my bike but nobody even mentioned that or suggested me to try them on the bike ( parked outside).At the check out .. there are 2 workers... busy on their phone.. I had to wait for them to realize I was there... unreal!The boots did not fit my bike. Returned them the day after. What a waste of time

Greeted and welcomed from the moment I walked in the door, and I received similar pleasantries and offers of assistance the entire time I was there. The store is by far the largest Cycle Gear Ive been to, but other than a much larger selection of helmets and a huge clearance section in the back of the store, they dont seem to utilize the additional store size by offering any additional items. Its the staff there who has earned this 4 star rating for their store. The staffs professionalism, attentiveness and overall product knowledge deserve a 5star rating. The store inventory and selection of products offered would otherwise have earned an average rating of just 3 stars. May swing through again if I need to size something prior to purchase, but otherwise, I think Ill just stick to ordering Cycle Gear products online as usual.

I have been in this store several times. They are always out of stock of the most popular sizes, which I wear. I have signed up for email updates on when items I am interested in are in stock and have never heard a word on progress of their shipments in the last month. Their most expensive line of adventure clothing is online only, so cannot be tried on for the 1k price tag, which is ridiculous to me. They do a pretty good volume of business, but it would be much more satisfying to me as a customer to just once go in and find what I want in stock.

My first time at this cycle gear and my transaction went smoothly. I had to return a jacket I ordered online because it was too small. Swapped it out for a better one in store with the help of one of the associates and got back on the road.Will definitely return to this location!

Looking for a good all around street jacket and gloves, Mark in the street bike department was very informative and knowledgeable from years of off-road and on road riding. Mark recommended a glove that was perfect for my riding style that are working out better than anticipated. Mark gave me numerous choices for jackets in various price ranges.Cycle gear is a budget conscious store and customer service changes by the shift, but thank you to Mark for the help!

I gave a 5 star review until I mounted the wheel and found that they had scratched the rim of my new motorcycle.The reginal manager called me and offered to replace my rim or send it out to be repaired, the after sales service was exceptional.

The salesperson was knowledgeable about the product and also installed the new item.

I was very happy with the entire experience. The salesman--I think his name was Ted--took a ton of time with me. I am new to riding and he was very patient and understanding. He also talked with his manager and arranged for multiple discounts that greatly reduced the price as well as helping to reduce later purchases of a helmet and boots. (Part of the discounts were related to me joining the club for an annual fee, which was completely or almost completely paid for by the discounts....well worth it.)Everyone else in the store was also friendly and welcoming. A very nice experience.

Imidiate bad vibes when forced to wear mask. Got a good deal on some gloves but did could not find boots that met my needs at a decent price. Staff is friendly enough. Likely not thier fault that their employers force patrons to mask up. Found better deals on boots for me and a jacket for my wife at Harley Davidson. And they allowed us to walk around freely without needlessly covering our faces.

Large store. The guys were very nice and helpful but the women were not helpful and quite rude. We went to check out and one person was running check out. The other women were just standing there talking and acting like we were bothering them. Finally one guy walked over and checked us out. There were several people behind us in line. Earlier I had asked one of the women a question and they just blew me off. I finally went to back of store and a gentleman helped me. He was very informative and helpful. He was the only reason we all made purchases and didnt walk out.

The person working the Racing Leathers area was very helpful. He went above and beyond while helping me out.

I went in expecting to be laughed at for wanting protective gear for riding my E-scooter, but the staff was amazing! I went in to buy a new helmet. They have a great selection here, and you can try them on which is a must since you need to make sure your helmet fits properly. They have a process where you can try any helmet on and then just drop it off at their cleaning station table where they will sanitize it.The staff member that helped me was really knowledgeable and gave me some good advice on which helmet to go with. Overall I was really happy with the experience and the staff.

After two phone calls, being placed on hold for more than 15mins just to have someone check to see if they carried a specific oil that I clearly stated and repeated during the call, so I don’t waste my time coming down there. The guy says they have it but when I show up they don’t. Then tells me he’s never even heard of the oil I need and the oil he has in front of him is the oil I should use, when it’s not. The only time I use CG is when I’m in a bind when dealerships are closed Sunday’s and Monday’s, but that’s not even reliable. Support your local shops and don’t waste your time with CG!

I went in looking for a helmet. Not only did I find a huge selection of them but my choice was actually on sale. Then I started looking for a new jacket. Once again they had several to choose from. I bought a nice one with the help of a sales associate. I have shopped at Cycle World before and with the selection, the service, and locations, I will continue to be a repeating customer.

I needed new gloves, and Cyclegear in Sacramento has an excellent selection.Gary, the salesperson on the floor, went out of his way to help me find the perfect street gloves, that were not only awesome, but also we’re reasonably priced.Gary was also able to help me with an excellent back protection armor for my summer wear jacket. He then offered to install it for me.The customer service is excellent and I will definitely go back for all my future needs.

I have visited to Cycle Gear on many occasions. The store is always clean and orderly. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful. I went to Cycle Gear on this particular day looking to purchase a new helmet. I went in and headed to the back where the helmets are. There was a staff member at a desk near the youth helmet section. I explained to him that I have a very small pea head and the particular type of helmet I was looking for. He wasnt friendly, but he wasnt rude either and pointed his finger in the direction of adult helmets where I could find what I was looking for. After trying on several helmets all were to big or if they did fit just looked silly on my small head. I decided to see what was available in the youth section. There was a different employee at the desk in now. MATHEW!! He was awesome! He possesses excellent customer service skills and is super friendly! He went above and beyond to help me! Although I was unable to find what I was looking for there his service was exemplary! He deserves a raise and should be definitely looked at as promotion to management level! On my next visit to Cycle Gear I will immediately seek for him to help me with my needs as I know with him I will receive top quality customer service! Thank you Mathew!

Best friend and I went in to browse for a new visor for her and her dude and boots for myself. The guy who helped us with the visors was not friendly or very helpful. The cashier and guy in black shirt were very nice and understanding. They definitely made up for the review to be a 3 instead of a 1!

Didnt have the item i was looking for. Nobody asked if i needed assistance. Cashier left security tag on another item purchased. Have to go back. Also called online customer service to ask another question about a product. Been on hold for over 10 minutes. You guys are doing great 👍

Came here with no knowledge of what I wanted. The staff knows what questions to ask and we were able to narrow down my options to 2 models. Theyre very passionate about gear for your riding experience and dont push anything on you, and dont sell you what you dont need.

Good selection but vary pricey. A lot of there clothing is from China so its hard to get the right size fit.

Cycle Gear lost a more expensive sale because not only did they not bother to answer the phone when I called, but they put their own other location associate helping me get an upgraded boot on hold for 10+ minutes!You know what works? Answer, Thank the Customer for calling. Let them know youre slammed in store however, take a message/request and CALL BACK. Then make a sale!Cant even treat their own store associates right - cant treat customers right. I didnt waste my time driving over to buy boots, pants, jacket, gloves, helmet and a coms system. Bought tires and had them installed here. The tires arrived 2 days late. Unfriendly clerk did not care, did not make any effort to help. He also said the valve stem change is included in the price, later I was charged extra for it…

Not as good as I remember. I think covid has made every retail stores inventory low or old. Not a full selection of good right now. Bike luggage is basically only Harley stuff. Not as good of variety as in years past. Update went back today Monday the 19th to return the wrong weight oil,simple exchage so I thought. Place is a joke lake of training lack of responsibility. I left without the exchange happening was treated as if I didnt buy it there. Un opened un used had their price tags on it. And I just threw away the useless oil. What a joke, do not go there just order it on line. They should just close their doors no one would care.

Good variety of inventory, but staff is unhelpful. If they dont know the answers they shrug it off and dont make an effort to be helpful. Also you have to chase them around for help. I would just suggest making purchases from their website rather than going into this location.

Call three different times make sure I stayed on the phone for at least 5 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. Nobody picked up. You go into the store seems like everyones gathered around the right register 50/50 you get help while youre in the store

I go to both stores a lot to feed my gear addiction and I bought a mirror visor for my arai signet x. I paid $102 for the visor and a employee in the helmet section recommended a cleaner to clean the visor while I’m out. After buying the cleaner and using it once with a micro fiber cloth I noticed the mirror film peeled off a bit. two days go by and it looks terrible from wiping it, the whole mirrored center section is gone. I brought it back and showed them the cleaner I bought and a employee said I shouldn’t use that for the visor, he recommended this purple stuff and they exchanged the visor and after a day goes by of wiping it in between rides it started peeling off the mirrored film again. I put my original on and took it back and they said they can’t return it because I messed it up with the purple stuff not meant for visors. I’m pretty upset that I wasted time and money coming from Elk Grove and I’m stuck with a messed $102 visor for the $700 helmet I bought from them

Every time I go to this Cycle Gear in Sacramento, I am impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. In this latest case I had a tire mounted while getting a bluetooth comms issue between two helmets resolved. They are always willing to help resolve problems, and do so in a cheerful manner, not acting like theyre doing me big favor. Their returns policy is outstandingly flexible, making it unrisky to order their stuff online or, of course, purchase in-store. I recommend Cycle Gear without reservation.

I worry sometimes about going to motorcycle places and the people that work there. But I went to look at helmets and just try on. The staff was so helpful that I ended up getting not only a helmet for me but one for my partner and a sweet coat. I think the staff needs to be recognized. They were fantastic and super helpful with all my questions.

They have just about every accessories anyone could want for their bike at reasonable prices. Got two jackets for under 200 for both. Great deal out of the value corner.
