Friendly service and delicious treats. The rolled ice cream is good (tons of options), but the real star of this restaurant is the honey toast. One of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever had. I HIGHLY recommend trying it, but be warned—it feeds a crowd! We got one of the chocolatey options, but all of them looked amazing.

Always come for fun and exciting ice cream mixtures, kids always want to come here. Have the five star account? Helps with special rewards and points. The price may seem high off too but its actually not that bad once you taste the deliciousness!

Love this place. Its definitely a place you would take somebody per say after a first date to impress them with interesting ice cream in hopes that they havent had it already. Unique and entertaining to watch the ice cream is very delicious the from the little decorations that they do,to the little things that they add on top. They go the extra mile to perfect their craft. By far my favorite Sacramento ice cream parlor; its the place I order desert twice!For those who dont know, rolled ice cream is what it is: rolled ice cream! It is a frozen desert that has been prepared in little rolls, both colder and harder than traditional ice cream. I would describe it as sacrificing the creaminess of normal ice cream in exchange for a more packed flavor, which makes it quite unique. I also feel that toppings/add-ons shine more in a rolled ice cream dish versus traditional scoops, since rolls melt slower than normal creamy scoops. This allows toppings to stay mostly separate from the ice cream, emphasizing the juiciness of a lychee or the crunchiness of a toasted marshmallow.There are about a dozen or so flavors to choose from, and with the choice of three toppings many permutations are possible. The inside of the store is clean and usually plays some form of Asian pop (usually K-Pop, which I personally enjoy). Service is smooth and the staff is courteous. Compared to other rolled ice cream Ive had, 8°s ice cream is just sweet enough without being too much, giving a very balanced flavor.The only complaint I have is that the store charges a few cents extra for using a card while paying under $10, but I dont mind too much.Overall, this is a fantastic ice cream parlor, both for rolled ice cream and ice cream in general. Check it out if you havent!

It was alright. I had the cookie monster. I was the only customer went around 2pm. The price to good ratio was off and they do charge you 50 cents for credit card if its not over 10 dollars. The ice cream isnt creamy to be kinda icu. Cool concept but a one time thing.

Great place to take the kids for ice cream. They love watching how the ice cream gets mixed and rolled. Staff are very understanding of kiddos acting like kiddos while they eat ice cream. The ice cream is yummy and toppings are fun. We enjoying stopping by after a day of fun at the park.

Fun selection of flavors and toppings. I enjoyed my coffee ice cream and my friend appreciated the fresh fruit in her mango/peach flavor. The toppings were fresh as well. However, this was pricier ice cream that I realized. I know Cold Stone and other choose-your-own toppings ice cream places can get expensive, and here it costs $15 for two orders. I would opt for more traditional ice cream spots for that price. However, if you want something unique and to be able to watch your ice cream get made, you should try rolled ice cream at least once.

5 stars for the ice cream, 1.5 stars for the service. The one employee working works as hard as he can so serve the 30 people in the shop. The owner needs to schedule more people. I stood in line for 15 minutes (there were 4 people in front of me and we all waited together) while the employee made each individual creation, taking each order when he was done with the ice cream. After ordering, I waited an additional 25 minutes for my order. All of this would be solved if there were two or three people scheduled at a time.

I gave 4 stars because the ice cream taste really good, i would have gave 5 if they had more flavors. Its cool how they make it from liquid cream and roll the ice cream right in front of you on the cold plate. They also have food, sorry i wouldnt give any stars for the cheese sticks. The breading had a really weird taste as if it wasnt fried in clean oil. Had a really terrible taste. After 1 bite i threw them away. Was happy with the ice cream but very disappointed with the cheese sticks

Favorite flavors- well, they dont repeat often, but there is always something wonderful to be had. I love anything they do with fruit flavors, I love any banana offering theyve come up with, and things with orange flavor (an amazing one was there near halloween, something zombie?) Pink Squirrel also. Anything with tea or coffee. I am grateful they allow one to taste test 3 of the flavors.

The ice cream is sooo good! Love it! They have pretty weird, but surprisingly they go really well together and taste really good too. The place is spacious and clean, the staff was nice to us too, they girl in front explained everything to us very detailed and in a very kindly way. Definitely coming back soon!

One time only for Foodies.The moment you enter, there is a young vibe to the place with plenty of non driving teens hanging out, sleek and modern. After paying, you can take a seat or watch the staff work on various orders until your creation is next brought out. Watching the ingredients poured out on the cold table and combined. Then scraped / rolled, placed in the bowl, and served. All fresh and new.The reason its One Time Only is beyond the technical aspects of making the food, the cost vs quality vs flavor is not in line. The ice cream lacked a richness one expects and the price for what you get, store bought brownies from Costco, Kit Kat wafer, and graham crackers, does not match the price. For the same amount of money, you can get a double scoop of ice cream from Gunthers or Vics and still have change in your pocket, with more intense flavors to boot.Besides dragging your date to the location for the experience, this is not a repeatable place.

Its usually extremely busy here, but the employees are all very patient and friendly. They manage the chaos very well and work work quickly and efficiently with smiles on their faces. Portion sizes are great. One of the best options around for a light, yet delicious ice cream.

The rolled ice cream is so creamy! I expected it to be a much different and icier texture than regular ice cream, but it is not icy at all. Highly recommend this spot. Try their house whip cream. Its fantastic.

Ice cream combination is surprising good! Only thing that was disappointed was the amount of topping that it came with even though they allow you to pick 3. The prices are a bit high and you they only have 1 size. Which is not bad. The place is clean and pretty spacious. Its a good hangout place to come with friends.

I didnt know what to expect, but they made amazing ice cream mixtures of fruit n flavors. They mixed banana into the hazelnut n topped it with banana n whipped creme. Wow. It wasnt as smooth as usually ice cream, but my family enjoyed it more.

This place is a JOKE. Took them 40min to make My Smoothie and a Mangoniada ..First of the Smoothie was 90% ICE and 10% Flavor if that.Second The mangoniada had Cup Filled up with Shaved ice .. and A few Small Chunks Of Mango At the Top. But in the Menu Photo The Mangoniada Cup is filled From top to bottom with Mangos. No ice.THAT’S FALSE ADVERTISING...And I Hope the Owner or Manager Sees this Review because That Business Is RIDICULOUS AND A JOKE.

Fresh made rolled ice cream with fresh ingredients for less than the self serve frozen yogurt place near by. I say, visit while they are still in business. The product is great, but it is hard to imagine them making much of a profit with the labor cost.

Ice cream has good flavor, the toppings are fresh. However, for the price I would prefer a little bit more of the toppings. For all the excitement of watching them make the ice cream, it was a bit of a let down when I got my order. Youre really paying for the experience more than anything else. Would I go here again? Sure. Is it my go to ice cream spot in the Hollywood Park/SLP area? Nah.

Wanted to try Thai Rolled ice cream and see what the hoopla was all about. Sort of underwhelmed, but it would not be fair to knock the place over my personal preference. The place is clean and has an easy to read menu. The ice cream is expensive in my opinion (7 bucks for one serving). Would not go again but if you are looking for Thai Rolled ice cream you will like this place.

Fun to watch them make and tastes really good it doesnt seem like you get a lot of ice cream but trust me it is, I have a hard time eating it all sometimes but its very good. Small tip get water cause for some reason the ice creams always make me thirsty lol

The ice cream was good, but the place stunk like a wet dog. We realized it was the wet towel that one of the employees used to wipe the tables down. The parking lot can be a pain. You might want to park on the street.

It was OK. gimmicky in my opinion. The taste was ok but was a bit watered down or maybe a bit too icy. Went to see what the fuss was about but found it to be very expensive and kind of a one trick pony. I wouldnt go again but it is worth it for a first time just for the experience of pretty ice cream made right on the spot.
