Hollywood Hardware is a wonderful neighborhood hardware store that carries almost everything and anything you may need for a project. Plus, they carry gardening tools and patio furniture. Prices are extremely reasonable and they have a senior discount on Tuesday. Excellent customer service, always see staff out and about the store helping customers, making sure satisfied customers leave with exactly what they need. Old time hardware stores are vanishing like the payphone. Knowledgeable staff & 1 on 1 service. Way faster than the huge home improvement stores.

First visit. Came in for a small bolt for drawer pull, was amazed at the amount and variety of products held within this seemingly tiny hardware store. Fantastic staff. Very nice location. Good place for gifts for gardener and handymen friends.

Always friendly and will answer all your questions. When you ask them where something is, there professional and personal and will walk you to the item instead of pointing like home Depot staff does. Great place.

When I asked where something was, they asked me if there was a man home who could take care of it for me (i’m a woman). their advice was wrong and I fixed it on my own without a man or their advice. don’t go here.

Cowboy is the one to talk to. Very sweet very knowledgeable about what you need even with vague description. Pretty awesome. Its a small town hardware, with friendly staff. It kinda makes you feel like you step back in time when you walk in. They sell a bit of everything. Need one bolt or nut. They got it and you dont buy a box of 500.

The woman working the register was nice to me this time and pointed out who could help me find the plumbing pieces I needed. Just be careful whenever shopping while Latino because I also noticed her watching certain customers more than others if you catch my drift. I however havent ever had any trouble shopping here. 🤔

Hollywood hardware, besides friendly and expert/professional service, many times has those hard to find items that places like Home Depot dont carry ( although I do like home depot).

Found what I was looking for from a large selection of bolts at a good price: much quicker than from a giant store.

For all your tool needs your blowers your screws and bolts air filters wrenches gloves Etc they provide you with a wonderful service and sale I highly recommended

Hollywood Hardware is a neighborhood institution, but more than that its the place to go for the little things that mega-stores dont stock because the demand isnt high enough. When you have an older house, or a project that calls for just the right size bolt (and not in a box of a hundred), this is your place. The housewares and garden sections are also great for interesting just what i needed items.

Girl with multi colored hair has been rude to me my last two visits. I dont understand it.

This place is so quaint and nice. Lots of items to choose from. Mom and pop type feel. The couple that assisted me were so kind. I just stopped in to pick up a wish order and poked around for other items.

This is my first stop before anywhere else whenever I need home improvement or yard work supplies.

I stopped by with a laundry list of stuff I needed. There were no other customers in the store. When I wasn’t greeted, I went ahead and said good morning to the clerk. He responded in kind...but nothing else. I proceeded to walk up and down aisles looking for all the items on my list and finding none. The clerk went to the back of the store to speak with another gentleman, so I followed him hoping to get some assistance. Neither gentleman asked if I needed some help, so I kept wandering...right out the door. I’ll do my business at Home Depot or Walmart.

Indubitably the most interesting hardware store I have ever walked into. And I grew up in Fair Oaks where there is a true old-fashioned hardware store. Hollywood Hardware is worth visiting even if you dont need any hardware.

They are conveniently located in the residential neighborhood; so its easy to run over there and grab some, say, caulking!? Easy parking, though it could use more. It gets really busy, so arrive early or be prepared to wait. They are often a bit overpriced, but someones gotta compete with Home Depot yet still have that friendly neighborhood hardwood store feeling.

They have a whole lot of things there to help with inside and outside your house. Its hot and a bit stuffy inside but bearable if youre not planning to stay a long time. Staff are always nice there.

A hardware store in the old scool. If they dont have it; describe it and they will likely be able to order it. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful people. Beats the heck out of wandering up and down the aisles of a warehouse and then finding out what you got does not fit or is missing an additional part.

I love this hardware store! they carry a lot of neat things for a store that small, things cost more than the huge hardware stores but you can find things here you might not find at the big stores!

The people are so friendly abd helpful. We have been going there for a decade and you can always find what you need. And their Christmas decorations are adorable. Go there you wont be disappointed.

Ive been coming here for over 40 years and this is my one and only choice as far as hardware stores are concerned. The staff are spot on with their knowledge. They know who I am, they are THE friendliest. They are like family to me. I really hate those big chain stores like Lowes and Home Depot. The staff at these stores are not very bright in any of their departments. Fact: I know more than they do.

They had just what I needed. Friendly staff. Didnt have to search for someone to get help. A little bit of everything here. Ill be going back to avoid the big box places. Not a ton of parking but enough for the size of the store. Seems like they close promptly, so give yourself enough time.

Best place to purchase and learn about how and when and what to buy ! Someone shows you to the area of their store & helps you decide. SO MUCH BETTER than those huge stores, where it is crazy hard to find anyone who knows anything about your purchase needs .

Honest to God old time hardware store with a focus on the neighborhood.

Dark, cramped, hot... i get that this is like a small business but its hard to find stuff, the staff dont wear anything that makes it obvious that they are employees and its laid out like a maze (i got lost finding my way to the checkout) better off going to home depot or Lowes etc*Update response to owner reply i get that...Its not that i didnt enjoy my time there persay i found everything i needed although it was a bit of a challenge to locate and i found myself getting lost. during the summer i would suggest using a larger size portable air conditioner or a much bigger ventilation system since it was extremely hot and humid inside almost to the point where it felt suffocating. dont take this review as one where i am telling others to stay away from your store but more of constructive criticism on how you might make a persons shopping experience way more comfortable.
