It is an old fashioned hardware store and I love it! You can find almost anything that you need for home repair or design. But I mainly go there to get my keys made and I will say 100% of the time they work.

Got to give this place five stars just because theyre so unique and the people are very friendly. Also, dont think everythings automatically overpriced because its not a big box store. They can compete even with some of the big things like commercial blowers and stuff like that, you just got to look. And again, cant overemphasize how they have stuff you just wont find anywhere else.

Very helpful and courteous, every person who works there knows where to find the thing that you are looking for. I highly recommend this place for whatever you are looking for. In the early days of spring, they have vegetables that are ready to plant for your garden and all kinds of flowers and trees, fruit and decorative. They also have lumber and screws of every kind, as well as nails and a large variety of other types of fasteners and fastener accessories.

I freakin love this place!!! In my experience, the people are all exceptional, and they have a great variety of stuff--things for our project, and things we didnt know we needed until we saw it there! 😄I wish they were closer to me, but I will drive from South Sac to the Arden area to avoid Home Depot (which is MUCH closer) and to have the Emigh Ace Experience.

They recently have some staff members that are on their phones and make you feel like an imposition because they greet you without eye contact and with certain tones. They normally have excellent customer service.

Ive been going here for the 30 plus years Ive lived in this area. This place is top notch service if you want to know which bolt you need what soil to use any question about anything I believe youll get your answers here. A little more expensive but thats an Ace hardware for you we need to keep this place around as the Ace hardware seem to be getting fewer and farther between and you can always go to home Depot b******* because Ace is the place if you want helped in your projects.

Ive been to Emigh many times and the reason I go back? Because they employ quality, knowledgeable people. I also dont have to look around for assistance like other hardware stores nice clean friendly and best vegetable plants around, hands down. On top of the fact, how many businesses take the time to respond to every person leaving a Google review? No place else that I know of. Ace really IS THE PLACE.

Really, the only thing that could use improvement is parking; it truly takes patience and effort to safely find a spot. People do drive a bit to fast in parking lots. Best place to go if you need someone who has knowledge. Went to a competitor and couldnt find anyone who knew about what I needed! The people at Emilys were knowledgeable and friendly!

We went to Hone Depot for steer manure. They had none. So, we went to Emigh Hardware. They had plenty. You go to the garden desk, order it, then go to the checkout and pay for it. Then drive around back and they load it up for you. So much easier and the people that work there are so much more knowledgeable and helpful.

Highly recommend their nursery. Its not a particularly large one, but its got a great variety of flowers that arent often available at big box stores (penstemon, yarrow, coneflower, even some California natives as well) and at fantastic prices. Staff is friendly.

Love it got a stihl blower from them they set it up and gave me a general idea of how to maintain it.

This store has very bad customer service policies. Think twice before you go. Questionable customer discount policies. I will not waste my time there again. Someone else has whatever I am shopping for without a hassle.

Ill tell you.. I like this place because if you need 1 screw they got it.. 1 nut or bolt they got it a certain type of tool or garden need its here plus so many old items you haven seen in a while and the staff in the blue vests right there if you need help! Enjoy!

Nice location, I usually go downtown. This location is definitely bigger. Needed to rent a rug cleaner. All the ones at the downtown location were broken.

This is one of my favorite stores! The staff is very helpful and it seems to have just about everything you might need. And I dont even live here. But we love to come when we are in town visiting my grandkids and working around their house.

We was able to find pool filter sand and o ring lub yo finish setting up the above ground pool for the kids.

Always friendly people. Staff always willing to help. If they dont have it they will at least go the extra step and look in the book to see if they can get it. If I need equipment, plants, yard stuff, whatever, this is my go-to place. Thats saying something, because I pass a Lowes and a Home Depot to get here.Sure, its a bit farther, and maybe the prices are different on a very few things every once in a while... Usually theyre comparable to those big warehouse stores. Where it counts for me though, is the attention to service... The welcoming smiles... Seeing staff in every other isle... When you ask someone a question, being treated like a person, not an interruption to the daily grind...Thats what I always get at Eimigh... Every time.

Prices are decent usually slightly higher than other big box stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of hardware. So if youre looking for specific hardware its great.

We called ahead to check that they had what we needed and they do. When we got there it took talking to a few customer service attendants who were all very polite and very helpful. Then came the manager who was extremely rude and demanded that we leave in a scalding voice. We were not wearing masks as medical conditions make it unhealthy to do so. I tried calming to explain this to the manager who loudly exclaimed, I dont care! We were not even given the option by him to have curbside pick which I would have gladly agreed to. (the security guard was trying to arrange this but by now there is no way I would ever give this establishment my money.

Best service in town. I come here of I am unsure of what I need and am always satisfied with the answers. I wish there were more locations. The employees always go above and beyond. If they dont have what you need they will direct you to who does.

Friendly staff. They have EVERYTHING I was lost in those isles and isles of things I’ve needed. Things I’ve been looking for. Things I had no idea I needed but they seem to have it in stock here. I would have been lost but there friendly staff are all over and eager to help a lost customer fill my cart to overflowing. They are not only all over but are knowledgeable about stuff and seem to have experts in every field to help figure stuff out and get the right tools, supplies, equipment, material allCOVID-19 compliant as can be.

This is the best store in town if you really need something specific from a hardware store oh, but they have been in Decline for at least 5 years carrying less and less merchandise. They are far less likely to have the specific bolts you need, a specific copper fitting, valve Parts, the kinds of things that once I could take for granted would be available at any Ace Hardware.

Had the grounded extension cord needed to run a space heater.

Certainly not the cheapest, but if your time has ANY value going here is a no brainer. There are tons of helpful, knowledgeable employees ready to help in almost every aisle. Compare that to the 30-40 minute wait times at home depot and Ill gladly pay an extra 5-15% for the small items.

I love this Ace store! Their staff is always so friendly and helpful, plus you can find just about anything here, from gardening, plumbing, paint, snacks, grilling, cleaning supplies, cute gifts, bird food..... but my favorite thing is the people that work there.

It was pleasantly amazing in range of products. They are a bit pricey compared to the box stores, but the outstanding service and products are worth it - you would NEVER receive such awesome customer service from a box store. You never have to look for anyone to help you - they are always looking to find you and ask you if they can help you first. I enjoy browsing all of the neat speciality items.
