Vortex has been great to deal with. From quoting to finish install they are very professional and thorough. I will continue to use them and refer them to anybody that asks.
I have used Vortex Doors at my place of business for everything from replacing commercial roll up doors to installing steel man doors and closers. Greg is always available to answer any questions and provides timely quotes on any requests I have!
I just gave these guys a call to get an estimate, and the lady who helped me out today was extremely nice. I hope im able to work with them for a project. Thank you
I have had a few experiences with this company and none of them have been all that pleasant, but this most recent interaction made up for it. I will agree with the other reviewers here and say that their customer service and the people who answer their phones need a bit of improvement. Nothing an attitude adjustment and some training cant solve.I had three different technicians come out on my most recent project and the last one, Abe, made me want to continue to do business with Vortex. He was very respectful, informative, and understanding of our concerns about the previous technicians work. He corrected our concerns without question and made us feel more secure with the lock that was installed on our front door by adding simple things to it. We had a break in that damaged our door, and he understood why we were wanting to make sure everything is now secure. The previous technician that came out was rude about it and seemed inconvenienced by the whole ordeal. He did not change or fix anything as we requested. Abe on the other hand was OUTSTANDING. If he didnt already seem to be doing something he enjoys I would have tried to recruit him to work for us.
On Tuesday I called to get a price on a roll up door. The first person to answer the phone had very little customer service skills. I called her on it and she got worse. I then asked for a manager and she passed me onto a nice guys who cooled me down and took my information. The same day I got a call for another person in the company who went out to take a look at the site to give me a quote. He was nice enough to leave me a voice mail and let me know that he was out taking a look. Two days of looking in my inbox for a quote I did not see one. I thought that I might follow up and ask if I gave the wrong email. that was not the case. Got the same guy who went out to my shop and left me a voice mail. He was not please for my follow up call. Told me that he is tired of all the free estimate he has to do and he is under staffed.Ok, I get it we all feel over whelmed but that was to much information for me. Keep your stress and do not pass it onto a potential customer. With his passive aggressive voice he said I will get one tomorrow. It is 10 minutes shy of 7 pm the next day and no Estimate.People if you are looking for customer service - move on.If you want to see your hard earned money spent well - move on.If you like waiting three days for a simple estimate - you are in the right place. If you like being talked down to - you are in the right place.Life is to short for this kind of stress.
They need to get a new person to answer the phone. I am pretty easy going and was open for any appointment and she pushed me to take my business elsewhere. Gave short snippy answers and all of them were NoIf she delivered that message in a nice way it would have been ok but she was rude about it. She said they were busy, not sure how. Based off of the rest of the reviews and my experience, they need to learn about basic customer service. My company manages over 3 million square feet of commercial space....SMH
Bad customer service, dont come out on the same day and dont answer call.. leaving customer hanging.. I do not recommend this business services at all.. bad experience and wasting time..
I don’t know anything about the business but the driver of their truck tailgated me for a while on Madison Avenue. Not very professional if you ask me.
