This place should just call themselves Counterfeit since they are so untrustworthy and have very poor customer service. They did an absolutely terrible job of installing our countertops and have done nothing to remedy the situation since we first complained. See the photos for yourself and hire someone else. They also severely damaged our drywall during demolition which required all of it to be replaced and Counter Fit took no responsibility for the added expense incurred. If its not your responsibility, then the least you can do is let us know ahead of time that well need to prepare to replace it. They also reattached our dishwasher in a way that made it inoperable and then told us that they dont install dishwashers so its not their responsibility. They didnt bother to inspect the kitchen ahead of time resulting in them installing the new countertops on unlevel plywood so the countertops are not level. Customer satisfaction clearly isnt their goal. I have nothing positive to say about this terrible company.

I had my doubts going into this. It took months to actually get the job done, something about the pandemic causing supply problems, but the work is really nice. My countertops are better than I had ever hoped. From Danny, who I always seemed to catch on the phone, to Oti and Walter, every one professional and pleasant. Top Notch work.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the job took so long. Over two months from contract to completion

I bought my Quartz countertops through Home Depot and they were installed by Counter Fit, I was a little apprehensive, but they did an amazing job. They were meticulous in making sure all the seams matched and that everything was perfect. I’m thrilled with how it looks.

I ordered these countertops through Home Depot. I was told someone would be reaching out within two days. The two days went by, then the weekend so I reached out. Nobody answered the phone and I left a message for Sam. He, nor anyone else ever called me back. Two more days went by before I finally canceled my order. I lost a week trying to deal with this company.

I ordered new cabinets and countertops through Home Depot’s kitchen design center. One section of the cabinets had to be reordered but the majority of the cabinets were in place and the countertop could be installed with the understanding that the last piece of countertop would be installed later. The cabinetry was completed mid July. The measurements for the final piece of countertop, approximately 48” inches by 18” inches, were taken the 30th of July. To install that one small section of countertop it would take 5 minutes or less. They have scheduled installation for August 31. They did not contact me with that information. I was told I could be placed on a cancellation list so that if there was a cancellation cancellation I would be called and moved up. They were denying that they still owed me a section of countertop which is why it took as long as it did to get the measurements done. The quality of the first installation of the countertop was very good.This final section has been a complete debacle. I well not suggest this installation group to anyone.

This company has terrible communication and customer service. The day they were supposed to demo my countertops no one called or showed. I found out later I owed them more money and my measurements were never sent anywhere so fabrication of new counters was not even started. Did I mention a plumber had already come and unhooked my kitchen 🤯. It took me 8 hours to find any answers to when my project might be finished. And over the next week communication did not improve. Never trust this company to call you and keep you informed. Be prepared to pester them every step of the way. The job is finally done and it looks beautiful (which is why I gave them 2 instead of 1 star) but the needless loss of time at work and the inconvenience of having no kitchen while nothing was being worked on was not worth it at all!!

They misscut the longest piece of granite for the kitchen counter by 5 inches. The way they cut the granite for island in the kitchen, it cracked within weeks of installation. The bathroom sink, we took the worker into the bathroom and personally showed him exactly where we wanted the sink placed. Again, the granite was not cut in the proper place. When the sink was placed into the opening the plumbing would not fit into the drain hole of the sink. I would never recommend this company for anything!

We purchased new kitchen counter tops through Home Depot and Counter Fit did the tear out and installation. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful service we received from start to finish. Sam called to set up and confirm all appointments keeping us up to date through the process. Oti arrived to do the template and final measurements. He arrived as scheduled, kept us informed as he created the final template, did a wonderful job and was very pleasant. Our installers were Walter and Sandoval. They were right on time and we couldn’t have had more friendly and extremely competent installers. They did a fabulous job. We absolutely love our new counter tops!!

I am confused about a couple of the poor reviews for Counter Fit. My wife and I have a custom built house in Fair Oaks and we have used Counter Fit twice now, once for kitchen / family room / bar counters and once for bathroom counters.From the starting process of design and stone fabrication with Eddie Rodriguez, through the demo, then to the install with Francisco and his installation team composed of Sal, Orlando, and Rico, we simply could not be any happier. From a project management standpoint, Eddie was always available and on top of things. Franciscos eye to detail and desire to make the customer happy was top notch. Francisco is a perfectionist and that is a trait you want in a fabricator / installer.I would also like to add that our kitchen island install was extremely challenging for Francisco and his install crew. A huge, very heavy and awkward piece of Taj Mahal quartzite had to be brought up from the street to a second story entry into our house. In that climb the installers had to navigate stairs and tight corners to get the slab into our kitchen. This is where Franciscos eye to detail and methodical unrushed approach was especially important.Again, based upon my wifes and my personal experience with Counter Fit, on two separate occasions, I do not understand some of the sub par ratings given to this company. Maybe they are made-up reviews from Counter Fits competitors??? All I can say is thank you Eddie, Francisco, and the rest of the staff and install crew at Counter Fit. A job well done, and beautiful counters that we will enjoy and admire for years to come.

Although the counters are not in yet, I wanted to write a great review about the kind, patient and intelligent man that was sent out to do my initial measurements. O.T (Thats short for his name) spent a good deal of time (wearing a mask and social distancing!) talking me through the issues that I have with my 1959 counters and cabinets. It took a long time to discuss what options might work given the limitations and challenges of what I have, but he helped me come up with an idea and a solution that I would have never thought of before. He was honest and also innovative. Thank you for making the first step of my process a positive one!

Bought the Countertops/ through Home Depot never never never never again the guy came out to measure did not even make a template we got the countertops three weeks later and they were wrong I sent them back they fixed them then 2 weeks later They showed up with countertops unbelievable the countertop was 3 inches wider where we couldn’t even grab our drawers then they cut around our door jamb to make it fit it’s been a nightmare kitchen nightmare actually will never use these people again

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. First, when they came to do the demo; the next morning I woke up to my kitchen floor full of water. Then they failed to bring 2 backsplash pieces; which required them to come out again. They didnt come to 2 scheduled times and did not call to follow up if theyre not able to make it. I took time off work to meet at my home twice with No call or No show. DEFINITELY WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Terrible communication. Had no choice to use them unfortunately. I did countertops thru Home Depot and this is there installer. The actual guys did a great job on the install, but the project manager was horrible to work with. Stay away!!

Ramiro and Carlos T. came up to Nevada City to do our install. They were polite and professional. They wore gloves and masks. Luckily for me they found a small crack in the kitchen sink that no one else had noticed and I was able to get a new one for them to install. I was very impressed and would definately use this company again!

Was referred here by another vendor for a bath counter replacement. Was plenty excited to work with them. Was promised 4 times to receive a quote by end of day via email. I never received anything. Called 8 times. Emailed two representatives Details for the quote. They answer the phone but don’t call back when you leave messages and apparently don’t have time for new clients.

Had counters installed on 12/27/2017. They looked fine, but after coming back the next day with sunlight, we noticed a handful of imperfections: Excess Epoxy, Scratches, Dark Marks. The house is currently in process of being renovated, so there wasnt great light when installed, so we couldnt see it well. The counters are black as well, and its certainly difficult to see them unless you look at the correct angles (or wet down the surface).We emailed them the very next day about the issues, and theyve said they will send someone out, but now its been 22 days since install, and we still havent got booked for a follow-up.I understand that things happen, and cannot always expect a perfect job, but at the very least, they should be able to communicate and address the issues in a timely manner (if not timely, then at least communicate that).We went through them via Ikea, and weve used Ikea in the past and we didnt have issues the last time we had countertops installed (dont recall the company that did it them before).Will revise review / rating when issues are resolved.

Absolutely beautiful job. Oti did a great job of measuring very helpful on a few ideas. Carlos, CarlosT, and Rafa were here as scheduled. They were efficient, precise, very professional . They cleaned up completely. The countertops are beautiful. Would use them again.

On October 1st, a Counter Fit team came to place a new cooktop in our kitchen. Through incompetence and stubbornness they managed to break our cooktop (Thermador induction). Three months later we still have no cooktop (had to order one, and it takes a long time for it to arrive) and NO OFFER from Counter Fit for any compensation. So we are out $3000 (yes three thousand). DO NOT use Counter Fit, they are not to be trusted with your kitchen.

Awesome customer service, professional, responsive and great results!

I have been a contractor for over 30 years and and have never worked with a more incompetent company as Counter Fit. After Two and a half months and many phone calls they show up and install 2 of 3 pieces, they say someone at their company messed up on the cut the night before. After more phone calls and another week later they install the last small piece, it is 1inch shorter on the front over hang than the rest of the counter top. Dont buy any countertop from any company that uses Counter Fit as their installers. DONT DO IT !

Counter Fit has been to my home several times. I thought the last time would be the last after arguing about my granite being cracked or if it was a fisher. Now, Counter Fit is late for an appointment to correct a cooktop cutout that is too small. Not happy with this company, or the way they disrespect my wife.

Worst ever job. Half completed job and said they were coming back next day and didnt show up for 4 days. I called them they said some one would be out in morning and no show. Went through lowes for counter and they sent this company. Never again terrible service. It should only been 1 day job. Had no kitchen for 4 days because they took forever to come bacl and finish.would not recommend this company. All this wait and craftsman ship is terrible.

Francisco,orlando & kevin was the crew that came out to our house to install the countertops . francisco was the lead installer and was meticulous in every part of the installation . they were very protective of our cabinets and floors. took the time to explain different aspects of the install. the job came out great we couldnt be more pleased. lowes has a good partner for counter top installations thanks again to francisco,orlando & kevin for such a great job.

Nice employees and outstanding products

NOT very good. The workers arrived just before 1PM. Less than an hour later they took a 45 min. break. One worker spent 20 min. in my bathroom. Stunk up the place so badly. The seam on the counter is narrow in one spot but wider on the rest of the counter. Left a 6 gap of no caulking between granite and wall, Tried to cover up a 1/4 chunk of broken granite backsplash with extra caulking. Over a week later, they returned to fix the situation but the new piece of granite backsplash has the pattern going the wrong direction as the rest of my backsplash! I have been waiting 3 weeks without hearing back from this company. I had to use this company with my Lowes remodel, so I really did not have an option.
