Ive been a fan of Identity Coffee for years. I finally got a chance to check out their Westside cafe and its excellent. Their vegan waffles are a revelation and I wish I could eat them every day. The herbivore sandwich was great, especially the pickled onions. The hummus is very heavy on the cumin, which I appreciate. I cant wait to eat here again. And get a coffee. (I love love love the cascara!)
This is a cute little spot. The first thing youll notice is how spacious it feels despite not being the largest spot. The open layout, long, lovely wooden tables and natural light makes if feel cozy, warm and yet spacious. The service is pretty prompt, kind and warm. I had a breakfast sandwich and we shared a waffle. The sandwich was unimpressive and kinda small, in my opinion. The vegan waffle, on the other hand, was AMAZING; it was flaky, moist, not doughy and perfectly sweet. I want to eat these waffles daily 😍. I will go back for the waffles.
This is my local coffee shop, near my business in West Sac. I have meetings here on occasion, and theres always a nice spot to sit. The parking available across the street in the Burgers & Brew lot makes longer visits a breeze, and the decor is very industrial, but still warm & welcoming. Love their cappuccinos!
A wonderful place where my Husband and I sat outside and a nice cup of coffee
Lucky, Vanessa & Ryan have opened another great cafe. The location is excellent. Very convenient if you are in West Sacramento or Old Town. The coffee is wonderful, just like their other location. The new breakfast items are delicious. They also have local beer & wine. Go check this little gem out.
The coffee is acidic. I like their hot coco kinda. The actually shop smells weird, like that weird steamy coffee shop smell. Really stuffy. Chairs are really uncomfortable but the tables are NICE AND ROOMY. I love how there’s a lot of windows, nice natural lighting. However I won’t come here to do school work because of the smell and the chairs.
Love the coffee here! The for looked great too but I didnt try anything. Awesome local spot to relax with a good cup of well roasted coffee. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
If you are Vegan avoid this coffee shop. I asked for Oatmilk in my latte and was served whole milk. I have an allergy to milk fats. I wasnt told about the mistake until after I had already taken a sip.
This is a very clean coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. The baristas were awesome and very, very friendly. Got a cold brew while my girlfriend got an Americano. Both were full of flavor and delicious. I will happily be returning whenever I go to West Sac.
Ive always enjoyed Identity Coffee and finally got the chance to make it to West Sac to check out Westside. The food was so good! The waffle with strawberry was exactly what I wanted it to be. Slightly crunchy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. Yum.
Finally have a local place I can walk to for a decent coffee! Good service, good food and drink! What else you need?
Industrial design coffee shop. Pretty simple but great menu. Great music choice, last time I was there they were playing motown records. The staff is also fantastic, theyre very friendly.
Prices are excellent and the coffee is fantastic. Baristas are professional and the service is always good. Westside Identity spoils you though. Id put them at the top of the list for the area.
This place is AH-MAH-ZING. It is a shame they dont have a location that is high traffic or has easily accessible parking. However, their food and coffee is top notch. Breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast are some of the best in Sac. My favorite latte in Sac too.
This is my favorite coffee shop. Their lattes are delicious, chocolate waffles are crisp with melty chocolate! Their breakfast sandwiches have the little details like chopped green onions and cilantro that really make this place special. Its also a great place to do work because they have wifi and a more peaceful atmosphere.
This place is ok. I like the location and atmosphere. The prices are a bit too high and the coffee is good but not excellent.
Love the atmosphere but I have to keep driving past when I have my dog because you dont put your tables and chairs outside. Which means Im gonna hang out at Temple or Naked Lounge. Get on the stick Westside
Nice little place to get coffee with outdoor seating.
Quality, elegance, minimalism. Its spacious while warm--they greeted me as soon as I walked in and were so amiable. Its a peaceful place.
One of my favorite places to sit and work!! Get environment and friendly people! And the walffes are great!!
Very happy to have a decent coffee shop near my place without having to venture into midtown/DT. Will be back again and again.
One of the best iced coffee Ive tried in Sacramento
**update**Still great service, consistent coffee, and really good food. Ive been going back to Wetstside Identity Coffee pretty regularly now and wanted to say, Ill continue going. The barista even recognizes me now and gives me a locals discount, love this place!over the past few weeks, Ive gone back and the service has improved greatly. The coffee selection is great and I will highly recommend this coffee roasters.
Stopped by for the first time yesterday. Got a cup of coffee and a really delish breakfast sandwich! Got to check out lunch.
$4 for black coffee and I cant bring my little dog in. Oof.To your response:I can understand the logic behind your choice to ostensibly support coffee growers. But in 2019 the general public can see the redundancy in selling fair trade coffee on a tablet made by child-slaves in a newly gentrified neighborhood next to a heavily polluted river.Interestingly its been shown that the coffee labeled as fair trade is often bringing less revenue to growers. A study published in the Journal of Business Ethics titled Empowering Coffee Traders? The Coffee Value Chain from Nicaraguan Fair Trade Farmers to Finnish Consumers is an interesting read.I dont mean to be harsh, Im genuinely writing this with your (and my) interest in mind. There isnt a coffee shop for miles on this side of the river. Id be in there 356 mornings a year for three large cups of coffee at $2 a pop.
I love the place. But the fact it closes at 5pm is the reason it gets a ding.
Quiet, relaxed, very friendly service. An excellent hot white mocha, no whip. :)
Great place I love the avocado toast a little bit more sodium than I was expecting but I think it was because of the bacon but great overall the coffee is amazing and the waffle is the die for.
Great coffee, fast friendly service! Downgraded to 4 stars due to... $4 for 16 oz drip coffee is a bit pricey for the area.
Great atmosphere, food and customer service!
Relaxing environment, good menu for snacks or a meal. Ordered a White Mocha that was really well balanced- not the overly sweet sugar bomb you’ll find elsewhere.
Cool spot to hang and grab a coffee. But coffee isnt that good and its over priced.
Coffee is good, but overpriced. Some staff here are not friendly (trained, but cold). If you dont order something in 15 min you maybe asked to leave.
No parking add o mostly for loc as ls. Great Brazilian coffee today. Very nice woman at th he counter. Beautiful austere interior.
Outstanding coffee & Im glad to see a locally owned place open up out here in W.Sac to offset all the corporate coffee shops in town.
They seem to consistently be able to make cappuccinos right
Best Waffles & Oat milk Lattes!
Excellent boutique coffee shop in the heart of the new West Sac
Friendly staff.Delicious almond milk mocha. Bonus they use Califia almond milk. Prices about the same as most coffee houses whether chain or indie.
Love this little place!!! I’m vegan and they have tons of options!!! The latte was amazing as well. :)
Food is Overpriced. $10 for a small egg sandwich, I would understand if the sandwich was larger but its small. $5 for a dry bear claw.
Love the furniture in there. Same owner as identity coffee in midtown!
The staff was so friendly, and the tea was great
Good coffee and service, it is not as warm feeling as the 28th Street location. Great place to work.
Love the location and set up. I ordered a hibiscus berry tea but it had no flavor.
I like this place because the people over there are so friendly
A little hidden gem of a coffee shop, coffee is delicious and pastries yummo
Casual, modern place. Coffees, teas, breakfast and lunch. Vegan items also available.
Its nice coffee, good attention
Coffee was good. Will be back
Brazilian cold brew here is 👌🏽
Meh. The staff is better than the coffee
Great cuppa cold brew, friendly staff!
Great to go options
Cute, open, just nothing gluten free.
Independent coffee shop with great staff
The kind of local coffee shop that Starbucks would like to be
