Based on the reviews, contacted this company to get an estimate for my backyards project. The gentlemen showed up on time, made the measurements and told me that he will send me the estimate in a couple of days. I sent a text message to the person who did the inspection and measurements 8 days later, after I have not heard back and here was the answer:I Apologize 😭😭😭😭 I will have to you tonight before midnight.I have not received anything in the next 5 days, so sent another text message and informed him that I have not received the estimate yet and received the following answer:I truly apologize Five Star Home Improvement is Going to pass - Five Star Home Improvement Appreciate you and the opportunity to help you with your Projects 👊👊 We are out about 2 to 3 months tooPlease Have a Great Amazing Powerful Beautiful Glorious Rest of The Year ⚡️🌟🌤✨Judge yourself!

We just put in a shade structure through 5 Star and they did a great job. Igor is great to work with and we were able to get ours in prior to our original date.

Roy is the best salesman. He treat you like a family and very helpful, gives you the best deal. Iam very satisfied of his work.

I had several estimates done for my patio cover. 5 Star was not the most expensive or the least expensive. I chose to go with 5 Star because of the initial impression I had of the company upon the first visit when Igor came out. He was totally professional, clearly knows his products and answered all of the questions I had while also providing some helpful insight into the overall patio solution we were looking for. We had agreed on a design and at the last minute I contacted Igor and wanted to make a significant change. He was completely accommodating and immediately adjusted my estimate without any issue. He seemed happy to do so! Igors crew showed up on time. The installers were obviously experts as the job they did was outstanding from start to finish. I could not be more happier with our patio cover installation experience and the service we received from 5 Star. I will, without question, recommend 5 Star to anyone that I hear is looking to install a patio cover. We may even extend the cover we had installed in the near future and I will not call anyone else but 5 Star.....

My parents replace their wood framed patio cover for the second time in 25 years. Being in the construction industry for almost 20 years I was skeptical about aluminum patio covers. After witnessing the extensive and costly construction process that my parents went through my wife and I decided to take a chance and go with an aluminum patio cover.Five-star gave me the lowest price so I expected to sacrifice some service and quality. The installers where professional and moved the barbecue grills and a mountain of my childrens toys that I forgot to do the night before because I had a 14hr day. I was very impressed when installation was complete in less than one day. The patio cover looks great and the quality is several times my expectations. Theres only three posts and I could not move it a hair when trying to shake it. We where also very pleased when they were able to do the installation one week sooner then their estimated 3 week lead time.Weve been spending a lot more time in the backyard with our children since the installation. I definitely recommend using five star Home Improvement for any aluminum patio cover installation.

Great experience, from start to finish. Igor came out, listened to what we wanted, offered some suggestions and improvements (most of which we took) and gave us a bid in writing on the spot. He followed up with phone calls, making sure that any questions we had were answered. When we decided on the project, he came out quickly to finalize paperwork and get the material order underway.He set and met our expectations for delivery and installation. Victor and Sasha did an excellent job on installation day - very clean, very efficient, very friendly and accommodating. We couldnt be happier with the final product - looks fantastic! Now to power-wash the existing cover, because it looks dirty compared to the shiny new portion! Have already recommended them to friends looking at a similar project.

I got estimates from many companies to get a patio cover done. Igor gave us great advice on how we should design our cover, and he also gave us an amazing price that other companies were charging more money for with less work. We decided to get the patio cover done from Five Star. The installers were very good. They did a great job, they would listen, and explain to me all the questions I had about the way they were putting up the cover. Great company that will give you a good price, while not compromising quality.

Five Star truly lives up to their name! I really appreciate their professionalism. Each member of the team arrived exactly when they committed which unfortunately is not always the case when dealing with contractors.My patio cover was a two day job. At the end of the first day the guys cleaned up very well. On the second day they completed on time and again cleaned up very well.We are very pleased with Five Stars work! I received 4 different estimates on a 12 X 12 covered patio cover. Roy came out to give me the estimate and was very knowledgeable and helpful in making my decision. The price was also very reasonable I cant say enough for Paul who did the work and his workmanship. He was very professional and prompt and did a beautiful and timely job on my new patio cover. Roy even came out to help dig some trenches that were necessary, even though it was close to 100 degrees on that day. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a patio cover.

I had a patio cover installed 2 days ago and Igor was professional and fantastic. He has done a very good job and would highly recommend to anyone. The price is also reasonable. They have a wonderful work ethic and do quality work.

Five Star Home Improvement has definitely went above and beyond when they installed my Patio Covers. The crew showed up at 9am and was out by the time I had my 3 cup of coffee;), 11:00am. My yard was clean when they came and they left it clean when they finished. The product is amazing and the job was done better than what I expected. Great Job 5 Stars to Five Star Home Improvement. They live upto their name.

This company does not stand by their work. We had a patio put in 1 year ago. Over the rainy season we noticed significant water draining down the side of our house where the patio meets the wall. In multiple locations, streams of water would drain down the wall, not just little drips. When contacted about the issue, the sales rep was sent out instead of a contract and who himself said he only handles sales and knows nothing about construction. He even came on a rainy day and saw the water streaming down the wall. He maintained that cracks in the stucco would cause this even though water was draining where no cracks were. At one point he even said well maybe there are cracks above the patio cover and that will cause it. Well, if there were cracks above the patio cover, how exactly would that make the cover leak? We then received the following through a text message which is very unprofessional. “Your concern about possible leak that you claimed that Possibly came from your Duralum Patio Cover, after careful review of pictures of the Back of your home ~ we determined that your patio cover has been Build per manufacturers requirements and Engineering. We couldn’t find any defects and disagree that the leak was caused due to your patio cover, however we found plenty of visible evidence on wall like stucco cracks around windows around the vent and just all over the wall your wall above and below your patio cover As you can see for yourselfWe recommend that you fix your visible wall cracks to protect your house against leaking. We are professionals know what we do and build hundreds of patio covers and stucco cracks has been found to be problematic issue with cracks and if the paper behind it is not done correctly Water will penetrate.” There are only a few cracks on the wall and not where the water is streaming down the wall. They don’t listen to customers concerns and just repeat the same response “cracks” even when shown evidence to the contrary.

I do web work for Five Star Home Improvement and find them to be a FANTASTIC company to work with. They have a wonderful work ethic, take care of their clients and do quality work at better than fair prices throughout the Sacramento & Northern CA areas. I highly recommend them.

Me and my wife contacted 5 Star Home Improvement and had Igor come out and gave us ideas and a price quote for our patio cover. Igor was super receptive and provided an estimate which could not be beat. We had called a few local places and were not satisfied with their prices and design styles. We scheduled them to come out and they arrived on time and put up the cover in no time. They also ran all the electrical for a fan and installed a new outdoor light. Staff cleaned up afterwards and answered all of our questions. The warranty, both manufacture and craftsmanship is unbeatable. We look forward to using them again soon!!

Im happy with the turnout of the cover patio, Igor was very professional about his jobgot the permits and completed the job in two days. My house sits on a corner lot and its viewed by traffic passing by, I get asked as to who was the company that build the cover patio, my neighbors went ahead and had their patio cover done by Five Stars Home Improvement and they are happy with the turnout.Thank you Igor.

Five Star Home Improvement did a great job for us in August 2016.We worked with Sergy and we had a damaged concrete walkway removed and replaced, as well as, grass sod replacement after having 2 trees removed by another company. Sergy and his team worked very hard in the hot sun to get everything done.The cement work was done very well on a slope that had problems from an overbearing tree trunk.We would recommend Sergy and Five Star for your home improvements! Sergy was responsive to our phone calls and scheduling adjustments. He was very easy to work with throughout the couple week process.
