Honest, straight forward mechanics. If they cant resolve the issue they will provide all the necessary information (Phone numbers, addresses, etc.) to a business that can. How many other mechanics do you know that will do that? For this reason I bring my autos to Unitech. I trust Kamal and his tecchs to do all service and repairs on my vehicle. They have never done me wrong and Ive been coming here for many years now. My cars have run for many miles thanks to Kamal and Unitech. If you want an honest mechanic and a no B.S. answer, then definitely bring your car here. You might have to wait a bit, but dont get upset! Excellent, professional service. Im alway very curious when having my car worked on. The staff understood this and didnt mind at all showing me what they were doing, explaining, and being transparent with the whole process.

My parking brake cable snapped at the front of my older Crown Vic. Dealer quoted without even checking the issue. Kamal checked the issue & showed me the problem quoted me the cost to repair the issue for far less than dealers quote, pending if there were an issue with the rollers but would call before doing anything other than the quote. He was able to fix it without anything else needing to be replaced for well under the dealers quote. Bonus is it works better now than when the car was new.I asked him to check another issue the dealer quoted for an oil leak which occurred after the dealer did an oil change. Yes there was one leak but not the 5 the dealer quoted me for thousands to repair. The one leak that needs repair Kamal found & quoted was around $600.00. I am an older widow, they did not try to take advantage me. He took me under the car & showed me exactly what was leaking. I am waiting for a part to come in so he can do this repair too. They treated me with respect & were very fair. honest & never talked down to me.The shop is clean & all were friendly yet professional & wearing masks. They have my business from now on & my friends as well.

I just recently started taking my vehicle to them and have been very pleasantly surprised by how honest these guys are. Yesterday I had my car taken in for a emergency brake that was malfunctioning. Instead of just fixing it, and handing me the bill. These guys went above and beyond and contacted the dealership just to verify that this should be under warranty. They found out that actually it was covered under warranty and saved me some much needed money. I was really taken back by their honestly, and definitely will return and recommend them to anyone I know. Thanks again!

Got me in without an appointment.Estimate was $120 to diagnose to codes.They replaced 2 damaged hoses and never charged for more then original estimate.Awesome !!!!

I was impressed with the speed of the diagnostic, the speed of the repair and the extent to which all of the employees were helpful while working with me on fixing my car. I was especially impressed with how orderly and clean their facilities are. Most mechanic shops are littered with parts and oil all over the place. Youll see none of that disorderly nonsense at Unitech. Its clear they pride themselves on efficiency and positive customer service. I wish I could replicate the experience I had with them at all of the shops I take my car to.

Went to get my AC fixed, I ended up paying $175.00 out the door to get it running. I was honest with the worker. That I had issues before with hot air blowing out a few days after adding free-on. Sure enough, I went back to let them know that my AC was still blowing hot air and they blamed it on a part they do not work on so in the end. I lost out on my money. The customer service was terrible. I do not recommend.

These two guys at unitech went above and beyond to get my car in and out in one day. They stayed longer than the store needed to be open so that I didnt have to come back the next day. They were amazing. Yes it cost a lot of money but it got me what I needed and I totally appreciate everything they did to get me in and out. I would recommend them to anyone.

Any work that I need to have done on my truck gets done at Unitech. Ive been a customer of theirs for about two years now and have not had a single unsatisfactory experience.After practically having my truck fully rebuilt (they installed a new engine!), I have learned that they produce quality work at a COMPETITIVE price. They just fixed my alternator today that failed last night coming home from work, and I was back on the road within an hour!Of course its always cheaper to do the work yourself, but if you can afford to pay for the peace of mind of having trained mechanics with the right tools for the job who produce quality work EVERY TIME, this is the place you want to go. Whenever anyone I know from this area asks for recommendations for car work, these guys get the nod without hesitation.

Id previously had my car diagnosed by another mechanic, telling me that I needed an EGR valve replaced. Id bought the part and the guys at this place said they would install it for a reasonable fee. Even though I declined an additional diagnosis by Unitech, they went ahead and checked anyway to see if it needed to be replaced. It turned out this was not the part that needed to be replaced, and it was something much more simple. These guys were great, courteous, friendly,honest, and they saved me money. They are my new go to mechanic shop from now on. I am so happy to have found them, because finding honest men in this industry is so difficult these days. Ive been bringing two Honda Civics and a Subaru in for repairs and oil changes for the past two years or so. Kamal and the crew are always friendly, helpful, and the service is quick. I have received excellent service from Unitech from the very first time I brought my car in. They provide me great information about what is wrong with my car and I never feel like they are trying to run up the bill by adding on things I dont need. Whether it is for repair or preventive maintenance, Unitech is where I go.

Came in for a simple brake inspection 85$. Failed the inspection and attempted to charge me outrageous amount for repairs to get the car to pass. A bait and switch method. Later they called to ask about their service and tried to get my permission to post my comments on their website. Understand allowing them to do so means they can edit your comments and make it appear as a good service. I did the repairs myself and saved me hundreds. Came back and they called me out for not adjusting the brakes properly, which was correct because left rear lever was stuck. This was after I reported to the B.A.R. I ended up re inspection 45$ plus 35$ for readjusting the brakes. Which was a simple lever in rear rotor. They consistently try to blame the B.A.R. for their swindling. Scape goating in order to practice unethical business within the bounds of legality. 27$ for a lug wrench, 30$ for light bulb repair(we moved the wire and the light came back up), rear brakes only(resurface rotor?) 104$, 12$ for cleaner, 35$ for retorque racks and pins 35$(asked another mechanic and doesnt have any idea what hes talking about,) disposal fee 20$(serious?)

Every time I go to Unitech for service they really take care of me with lots of personal attention.As a woman, I appreciate their honesty about what my vehicle needs. They are honest about what servicing my vehicle needs and never try to upsell me. They are also very concerned about safety.I recently had my front brake pads changed. Thoughthey use very good quality parts, I asked for genuine Honda brakes. They ordered them and I had my new brakes the next day. I was also offered a free cup of coffee.I have had new tires from Unitech and they are great.I have been going to them for over 2 years and continue returning for my Honda repair needs.Thank you Unitech for keeping my vehicle safe for the road.

I came into Unitech Auto Repair to get an oil change for my car and I have been a customer ever since. From the beginning, the owners have been nothing short of amazing. The shop earned my trust because of the work they do, and the fact that they will bend over backwards to accommodate their customers. That said, you will not leave Unitechs shop disappointed, however you will leave with the feeling of satisfaction.

These guys are crooks. Took my car for brake and lamp inspection and was failed due to led light even for interior lights and parking brake adjustment. I understand the parking brake part, but the interior led? I called bar a verified no interior lights was needed for the inspection. Also cost 40 to adjust 10mm nut at pedal. I would have done it myself but it would cost me another 85 for re-inspection so I had no choice. Never go there again!

Ever since I moved to Sacramento, I have been looking for a reliable shop for my car needs. The personnel that works here at Unitech have been very professional and their prices are to me, unbeatable. I will be coming here from now on.

TOTAL RIPOFF ...i went to get car fixed at this place. The cars coolant kept on finishing in the radiator and eventually the engine overheated. I went to this place and the guys could not even figure out what the issue is and then eventually said that the thermostat gasket needs to be replaced. I ended up paying $128.00 and waited 3 hours. After getting my car back I drove around and the car was still doing the same thing and the issue was not fixed. I looked up the price of the gasket and it was $3.99 and i ended up paying $128.00. What a rip off... I will never recommend this place to anyone. ..STAY AWAY..and the only way you see all these good reviews is because Unitech Auto Repair is giving them discounts to their customers so they can write good reviews for them. !!!

I was fortunate to be eligible for this service and as a result, I only had to come up with a small down payment for a bill that was approximately $400. My Vehicle was diagnosed and repaired at Unitech to my 100% satisfaction.Been from Vancouver,B.C, they did full inspection at no cost,told me in detail as to whats needed and how much.The repairs was done right .The cost was almost 50% less then what I had expected.I would totally recommend this company to all my friends and family on their visit to Sacramento if need be.

I called Unitech Auto for a quote. After they gave me the best price I had herd all day, the person on the phone told me to go somewhere else and hung up on me! He was rude and just an overall jerk! I would NEVER use this shop or its services. The engine after 175000 miles broke down and could not be repaired, by the dealer ; and all the the kings horses and men could not put my engine back together again !!! I called asking for price check on extracting a baring out the knuckle of my vehicle. I was priced 65 then he ask if its stuck I ecplaned to him no its not stuck. He then got angry yeld at me I no do that job an hung up.. Smh so much for customer service. I dnt recommend this impatient shop

Terrible services, if I could give them a 0 I would. They wanted to charge me over 400 for some simple LEDS to be replaced, which I went home and did the work myself. They are outrageous with theyre labor price. If you ever need LEDS replaced, brakes, or even spark plugs, I suggest you go to AutoZone, buy the parts and do the work yourself. Or contact me and Ill get them done for u. Super cheap!

1.0 star rating 5/12/2017BEWARE, Customers with no mechanical background !!!!!!!I came here to get a Brake Lamp & Brake inspection on my car I owned for 9 years.Now due to salvage title, its a requirement to have a brake and light Cert.I put on a couple new tail light lens due to hair line cracks before showing up.Also I checked all brakes pads and rotors before showing up.Took 45 mins to due inspection. They said I passed lamp inspecion 100%But said front caliper is leaking, rear wheel cylinders leaking, Front upper Ball joints are bad,and outer tie rods and sway bar bushings. I know theyre 98% False, There trying to lie to addto the cost of repairs to make extra money! They wanted $950.00 to due repairs.I told them to take car down off rack, Iam leaving ! i went home, took off all wheelsand looked for myself. Yes front tie rod & ball joint dust boots are bad and thats it. Went o local auto parts store and purchased dust boots and sway bar bushings for $10.00. installed myself. For the Rest I took brake cleaner and simple Green and cleaned all brake dust off rotors, calipers and rear drumbrake assembly. I put wheels back on, Brakes feel great, very firm just like they always have. No spongie pedal that would in indicate air in lines or leaks. I drive 5 miles and go back home and check to make sure brakes are not leaking. After some hard braking while test driving, Still NO LEAKS !!!! So I drive to work 4 days . After 4 days I take off wheels again. Still No Leaks like they said. So I go back to Unitech for Re-inspection $40.00 fee.They see everything in cleaned like someone has obviously worked on the brakes.But No, not worked on, just cleaned and triple checked for leaks. Passed, $4.00 can ofbrake cleaner and simple green. But they tried to fail me again for dirty tie rods, said theyrebad, so I now get very unset, and say B.S. I am a Mechanic, there not bad! Another guywalks over and looks with his flashlight and then looks at the tie rods, then looks at me for a few seconds. Very odd I must say. I say well ??? He says, oh its fineThey know they have been caught lieing now! I am not done yet, I am taking thisto the B.A.R.By the by people my brakes are working the same as they did beforegoing to the shop. I wasted $40.00 for re-inspection and tons of wastedtime cleaning and triple checking when it truely wasnt needed. I am more upset on thelies and thinking of how many more people there doing this too!

Dishonest car repair. I brought in my 95 Camry for a smog check, was told their smog machine was broken. Anyone whos worked in car repair knows this is their excuse to not work on an older car since a smog for an older car takes about 3 times as long as a post 2000 car. Sure enough, I called after I got home, said I haves 2002 Camry, and they said I could bring it in immediately. I dont blame them for not wanting to do it, but I do blame them for their lack of integrity.

I have 2 vehicles, 2005 Durango and 2001 Jetta to my unfortunate luck they both broke down at the same time. I previously took my Jetta to another well known tire shop (F1restone) only to be charged $400.00 and overheating issue still continued. After returning a 2nd day to be given another false diagnose the issue still persisted. Needless to say I did not want to take my Durango there or continue with another false repair.I happen to see Unitech on my way home from my 2nd tow home one late evening. I called the next morning and the service tech. Kamal was able to confirm an appointment for both vehicles that same day.After only a few hours (not long at all) service and repairs done to both cars, I can happily say I will be a long time customer of Unitech they were fast,reasonable and most of all HONEST!!!New CustomerVeronica
