I went for oil change and tire rotation last month & was told about an hour, but it took closer to 3. Now I realized my lug nut key is missing so I went back in and they told me they never rotated, they recommended new tires & they dont have the key. No recommendation was made verbally or on my receipt & I was never told about my requested service not being done. My one tire with a slow leak moved to the other side suggesting they were rotated as requested, but maybe that tire magically fixed itself whilst another sprung the same slow leak. Mistakes are acceptable, not owning up to them and making excuses/lies is not.

I always bring my car here and they always are very nice and take care of me and the front desk lady is very nice and cool… I’ll only bring my car here… they got good prices here too…

Hey...this little shop on the corner has been a bright light in the often dimly lite world of auto repair. Finding a place you can afford and trust is like, well, having your cake and eating it too.The first time I went to Quality they forgot to put my lug nut key back in the car...they actually called me to tell me. Thats doing it right.I think the 5 stars pretty much says - call them.

This place is highly unprofessional and has no idea what hat they are doing on luxury cars. They are over pricing and possibly creating new issues with your vehicle. I had to take my car back three times for the same issue they fixed which was a simple tune up they couldn’t do right on my Cadillac STS. I paid 850 for my air conditioning and every time they would find a new hose leak. This place does not get anything good from me.

The folks at Quality Tune-Up were very helpful, honest, and professional. They were able to diagnose my car and tell me why it did not pass smog. They then gave me a run down of what needed to be fix, how much each item would cost to repair, and then let me decide what work to have them do and what work I would do myself. They did not once try to sell me on any work that did not need to be done or try to convince me that they had to do the work for me. I have been looking for an honest and affordable shop in my area, and now I know I found it at Quality Tune-Up. Cant thank them enough, and I will go back to them with any future car problems I have.

Service was good. I came in for an oil change and once again they were trying to upsell something to me. Same company but different location this time and they were insisting I needed a new air filter asap, to find out later that my original one was perfectly fine. Im done with Quality tune up Ive switched to jiffy lube and couldnt be happier.

Stay away from this location! I took my car there today and not only did they try to sell me unneeded repairs, but they also didnt perform the services that they charged me for. After leaving this location, I stopped at a gas station to put fuel in my car and I noticed that the rear driver side tire was low. It only had 20 pounds of air in it. Yet, when I looked at the invoice that I received from Quality Tune-Up, it clearly states that the tires were checked and okay. Obviously, they didnt check the tires. If they cant be trusted with such a small and obvious thing, how can they be trusted with crucial repairs such as brakes or any other repair that needs special care! Consumer beware, frequent this location at your own risk!!

This place got me in and out super quick for my oil change. Not only that, but they didnt try to pressure me into getting the other things fixed on my car, they just gave me a honest heads up about it. Also super friendly with great customer service, I will definitely be coming here in the future.

Honest, never despising, and good priced. Compared to other places, where the attitude was rude because I am a young woman with no knowledge of cars, this place is really sweet.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This place is a rip off. Theyll take your money first then make excuses later. RUN the test.. get the money.. say it didnt pass visual inspection. The part cost $3. and they asked for $103. to replace the part and $29 to retest so it can pass. Youll find better service for a cheaper price elsewhere. I wouldnt advise anyone to go here.

I took my 1999 Ford Diesel F250 to Quality Auto Care Centers on Arden Way on October 5th 2018, where I was charged $91.70 for a smog inspection which I needed as a part of transferring the vehicle into my name. This vehicle was subject to a visual inspection, where it was noticed the truck had an exhaust brake installed. I had proper documentation to show the exhaust brake was legal and installed properly, however; was never asked for it. When I was told by the technician, Nathan Lofton, the truck was failing due to the exhaust brake, I offered to provide proper documentation, at which time I was told that was not going to change the results and the truck also failed the Snap test. When I asked about the failure of the snap test, I was told it was a serious problem with my engine and that my truck was a “gross polluter”. The truck passed all other tests except the snap and the visual inspection. I asked if there was anything I could do, and they said I could take the vehicle to a referee through the State and while chances were low, they might pass the truck.I took my truck to the referee today (November 2, 2018) at American River College, who passed the truck in all areas, confirming that the truck did pass the snap test and that the exhaust brake was installed legally. The referee even went to the length of suggesting that I ask Quality Auto Care Centers for a refund, and write to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, as he thought the truck should not have failed in the first inspection.I contacted Quality Auto Care Centers, and they said they would not refund me and they still firmly believed a truck with an exhaust brake should not pass SMOG. I think it is egregious that they are of this belief as the law clearly allows the installation of an exhaust brake, as long as it meets certain criteria. Incorrectly failing trucks with exhaust brakes causes undue harm to vehicle owners by requiring additional resources (time, additional tests, etc.) to prove the vehicle should in fact pass. If an owner were not as aware as I am, they may be forced to sell their vehicle or have unnecessary work done as recommended by Quality Auto Care Centers. To have the work they recommend performed (head gasket, turbo valve guides, etc.), I would have had to pay thousands.While I did not have the unnecessary work performed, I did spend many hours driving the truck to a Ford dealership and another mechanic to verify the truck was in good running condition and the exhaust brake was installed correctly. This would have all been avoidable if Quality Auto Care Centers was correctly informed.

The only reason this place got one star is because I wouldnt give it zero. This place a beyond garbage. The service manager explains nothing and the mechanics barely speak English much less know how to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Save yourself time, money, and a headache and go somewhere else. Dont make the same mistake myself and most of the other reviewers did.

My brakes were metal to metal and dangerous to drive. I called Quality at 1pm and they were able to take me in at once ! So grateful.
