I needed a transmission for my Honda Pilot so I searched the internet & found these guys in Sacramento. They had the best price for a remanufactured transmission & they were only an hour from home. Finding out that they do a Dyno test on the trans before releasing them is definitely a big deal & a big +. So along with the best price I got a pretested trans with a warranty I can rely on. Both Justin & Oz are great guys to do business with, honest & reliable, I highly recommend Ozmotive for all of your Honda & Acura repairs.

Always have a great experience with Oz and his techs. Theyre friendly, knowledgeable, and take the time to do the job right. They keep the car for a few days whenever I bring it in, but it always comes back properly diagnosed and repaired. They never try to sell me unnecessary parts or labor and things are priced very fairly and much cheaper than the dealer. I use them for all my significant repairs and maintenance. Highly recommend!

He was very willing to work with my unique situation and answer questions I had about the repair. The repair was also under what I expected to pay. I came into this shop today and off the back I noticed there customers had a connection with the staff. Straight forward and honest people. Justin was awesome friendly, prompt, and efficient! I am very aware about the automotive industry and how most shops run as I used to work on vehicles myself. The labor rate was well below the local dealer and they did great at solving my problem on my 2007 S2000. My advice to this small company honesty, integrity, and word of mouth will go far and as if now you have a new loyal customer thank you.

I called on a Friday afternoon and arranged with Ozzie to pick up a rebuilt transmission for my Civic at a great price. I arrived Saturday and he was expecting me, had the trans out and waiting. Also had Honda trans fluid in stock for a reasonable price. He discussed the proper installation with me and suggested I install a cooler for better longevity.I installed the transmission and I couldnt be more pleased! It shifts buttery smooth and is better than new.I returned about 3 weeks later to return my old transmission and get my core charge refunded. Although Ozzie was obviously busy, he dropped what he was doing immediately to help me. Àfter refunding my deposit (core charge), I asked him how to remove a stubborn ball joint. Without hesitation, he offered to put my car up on the lift and show me. After we looked at that, I mentioned I need to replace the air conditioning compressor. He offered to draw out the refrigerant for me. When he discovered there was very little refrigerant left, he replaced 2 valve cores and refilled the system at no charge. He added dye so that we can tell where it may be leaking out. My a/c is now blowing ICE cold! He really cares about his customers and does great work at reasonable prices. Thanks Ozzie for such a positive experience!

The transmission I bought works great. I installed it myself and Oz and Jason were very generous with advice. The shop that they rebuild in is well laid out and very professional in charactor.

They do excellent work and theyre very affordable constantly busy been there for 20 years and they get to work by word-of-mouth not by advertising

Great people saved me almost $1000 on a rebuilt transmission had my honda pilot back in a couple of days and honored their warranty when I was having issues with my reverse gear. Told them my gas peddle was sticking and he told me what the problem was so I could fix it myself and helped me diagnose my break light staying on on the dash board at no extra cost.

Ozzy and Justin are without a doubt the most honest mechanics in Sacramento. They are proficient, fast and their rates are very reasonable. If you have a Honda or Acura, dont waste your time or money going elsewhere. They replaced my Dads transmission on his Acura and my transmission on my Honda Pilot for almost half the prices I was quoted elsewhere with a 3 year warranty! I also go to them for routine maintenance like oil changes, brakes, etc. I highly recommend them.

If it can wait and is NOT a safety issue, they let it wait. Or they take care of it all for you. Whatever your needs are.I recently bought a new used car, the 1st owner trashed the engine and they helped put a new engine it in and they have answered all my questions abut the car from day one. Chris drops what he is doing to answer my questions and help. If they need the car all day they will give me a ride home.Ozzie and Chris know me by sight and remembers my name. They want you to come back, not because of a crappy job, but because they are honest and good at what they do.

Being completely honest, Ozzy is a family friend and I direct all my friends and co-workers to his shop for any car needs. He has satisfied everyone I brought and they have returned to his shop as repeat customers. Beyond fair/cheap prices for services, Oz is completely honest: Oz turned down swapping brake pads because the current brake pads were still good. Needless to say, that saved the car owner money while I know a few other mechanics and shops who would have swapped out the brakes and charge for labor. Oz takes care of his customers.

My blinker wasnt working. I replaced the bulb, checked the fuses but still wouldnt work. Went to them and they fixed it in no time at all. It somehow got unplugged from the firewall side. Since it was so simple for them to diagnose it was free of charge. Now I get everything done through them. Oil Changes, Brakes, etc.. I wont go anywhere else.

Ozmotive performed a lot of work for me on my Acura and Honda cars that I brought to him. He gave me a good price on timing belt replacements for both, but that was the old Ozmotive owner. I later took the Honda in for additional maintenance and Ozmotive basically cost me several thousand dollars that I didnt need to pay. My 2003 Civic was a lemon and Oz was squeezing out all of the juice that he could. My final straw was when I replaced the transmission only to find the head was warped. Thats when I threw in the towel and traded in the car for a new one. I dont understand how he rates 5 stars on the reviews.

Shop rate is good. He knows is stuff, Honda is his speciality. But works on my Lexus also.

5 stars for a great auto repair shop that will never rip you off. You can tell from their parking lot how good they are at what they do - there are no open parking spots to be seen. Despite their huge workload, they still managed to get my oil change and cabin filters done same day on a very busy Friday, and charged me almost nothing for labor. It is rare for me, a 19 yr old girl, to go to a mechanic and trust that they are not just going to give me a run for my money. Ozmotives did exactly the opposite - they addressed every concern I had and advised against replacing the rusted exhaust system on my car because it would end up being a big waste of money for a problem that really isnt a problem.  This is the best place to go if you have a honda or acura - or if you just want someone to look at your car and give you an actual, Honest opinion on what work needs to be done.
