Fantastic experience as far smog checks go.The entire transaction took under twenty minutes the customer service was great and the price was right. This is a first time customer review and I will definitely return. Just easy peasy experience.

The man who did the smog on my mustang could t tell the difference between emission lines and windshield wiper lines car passed smog with flying colors and no check engine light. He said we used windshield fluid lines In place of carb legal emission hoses as well as said my evap canister line out was torn I saw no indication of a torn line as well as looked around at multiple vehicles of my cars type and they all had the exact same hoses as the ones on my vehicle. They just want your car to fail so they can charge you more on your return test than what the base value of their smog is.

While this might be a little more expensive when compared some of the national chains I highly recommend this mechanic shop. They are great with communication and they breakdown what needs to be done and also offer up options. The service is fast and friendly, the waiting area is clean even has toys and books if you bring children.

5 Stars are not enough!!! This Place is absolutely awesome!! I had struggled for months taking my truck to various places because my check engine light would never turn off. I finally find Natomas Smog Shop via Google, called them up to see if they could accept a walk in which they could, Trinh was amazing and so helpful, I gave her all my previous diagnostics and she looked at them and said to me no one told you what you needed to do to fix this? I said no, no one and she scheduled a fresh diagnostic for me to make sure what was what. My truck was in there for four days but its all fixed!! All total, diagnostic, small part and labor like $300, and I have put more than that in while trying to get the help I needed. If you want honest work and answers let alone amazing results, Three Words... Natomas Smog Shop!!!. They will be getting all my business from now on. Just awesome!

Best customer service we have ever experienced. My husband and I took my Cadillac in for a routine smog check, but it surprisingly didnt pass. Some very unusual computer code wouldnt reset. They worked diligently to track down and fix the fault (and charged us for only a fraction of the time I know they put into it). In addition, the waiting room is like something you would find at a high end dealership - very clean with snacks and coffee. This place is amazing!

A great place to get a smog test done. Easy in and put. BONUS....Also a STAR Station. A place you can trust. The waiting room is clean, kid friendly and COOL while you wait. I was done in less than an hour. I would recommend TO ALL.

Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had getting my car smogged. I dropped off my car and when I returned less than an hour later they had everything finished along with putting air in my tires and windshield wiper fluid. 10/10

I was so amazed when I arrived here at this place. The business is so very clean and relaxing while waiting for your car, children friendly and customer service was lovely. I thought I was at a very well kept doctors office. They had condiments for the customers which I have never experienced at a smog business. The wait time was as said for the smog and not longer. I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Great business to visit if needing a smog test and they do other work as well. Go check them out and you will be pleased....

This place is an awesome gem tucked away in the industrial area on national drive. Trinh at the front desk was friendly and helpful and I was out within 15 minutes flat without an appointment. Highly recommend for anyone needing a smog in the natomas area

This place is great! We have been using them for years. They used to be located at one of the side streets off Northgate, but the newer location off National is better. Smogs for all our vehicles and oil changes. Can always find coupon on line ( must print*) $10 off. If not, AAA and military discount $8 off.

Hi my wife told me about natomas smog shop so i got there and thought i would have to wait for an hour but i got in and thought it would be packed with people but it was nice experience and comfortable. So expected a hour wait but i was in and out less than a half hour people that work were great thank you guys.!

Very fast results and their machine is inground, so its great for people with cars that have low clearance (Track cars, drifters, hooners, etc.)

This is the only smog shop Ive ever been to where I actually enjoyed the poeple and experience! Had never been here before and got to talking with one of the techs thats an enthusiast of cars about the shop and even went in the back shop to check it out & its real clean and overall the perfect place to get your car smogged! This is the best smog shop Ive been to in a long time. Ive had two different vehicles smogged here and they are always fast and courteous. If youre trying to go during your lunch break be sure to make an appointment because it can get busy. If you dont have an appointment they will generally take care of the appointments first depending on if theyre a little behind or not. So make an appointment and be on time and you shouldnt have any issues. Also the nice lady that works the front counter has her dogs with her sometimes (behind a gate). :)

Super nice people and the lobby was impressively clean with snacks and water. Only complaint would be they dont open until 10 amd that the guy had to set up the shop nefore doing my smog. I was already waiting 35 minutes outside for them to open but had to wait another 20 minutes for the setup. I kind of expect to go to a business that opens and they should already be set up for their customers. Other then that great experience.

Very nice staff and very informative. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is because they gave me the wrong diagnostic for my car problems. Not sure if I will return.

Incompetent smog techs. They failed my car for car for having tampered ignition system. Said the coils I have are illegal racing parts. In reality they are aftermarket O.E. equivalent replacements. I took my car to another shop and had it passed with no issues.Just to be sure for future smog tests I called B.A.R. and gave them all information. They said they should be legal but I would need to contact the C.A.R.B. to get a definite answer. C.A.R.B. confirmed they are legal because the are O.E. equivalent replacements and they do not alter the ignition system function. Meaning, they do not change the way the manifacturer designed the ignition to operate. A non C.A.R.B compliant multiple spark system is the example they gave me as what would constitute an illegal modification to the ignition system.Unless your vehicle is 100% stock I advise you take it somewhere else. The techs at this shop are unaware of legal aftermarket parts and will fail you.

Highly recommend this shop. Smog, pass or fail, this place did not profile my vehicle. I got turned down by other smog shops just because it was lifted and had mud tires, and also required to be on dyno. Most likely because it takes extra effort to get my truck on the dyno with a more extensive smog inspection. I understand California is always changing smog requirements and equipment, this place was able to complete smog check. They accepted my truck and completed the smog inspection in a timely manner. Waiting area is very neat and comfortable. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Went in for a smog check and certificate. This only took about 25 minutes. After the smog check they noted about my car making a screeching noise (this was caused by another mechanic) they offered to do a full car inspection diagnostic for free. They were able to find the noise and fixed it free of charge (it was a brake plate that had been bent and was grinding into the rotor) I left completely satisfied and will be coming back for all my vehicle mechanic needs!

I cant tell you how amazing these guys are! They gave me a great quote to fix a bunch of major issues I had with my car. I was also going to be late to my 2nd job and Trinh offered to take me to work. Her brother was so kind to help educate me on cars and he dropped my car off at my 2nd job for me. I just came back from getting my car smogged. This is my second time going here. The smog shop is very clean. It took him 15 minutes and he was very courteous. He noticed my coolant was a little low and topped it off for me. Cant ask for anything more.

Was surprise to find a smog shop in sacramento as clean as this one. The receptionist was really nice and helped me out alot. I was kinda worry about the long drive from Davis just to get my car smog but because of the excellent reviews decided to take make civic here. All I can say is lucky me.
