They always talk me through whats happening with my car. I mainly go there for oil changes, they are very customer friendly and work hard. This is now my shop.

I needed my oil changed this morning and went in at 7:30am. I asked if they could have the car ready by 9 and they delivered within an hour! Great service and I never feel like they upsell. I definitely recommend this shop!

Ive taken my car to this Midas for years and always thought they had the best prices and service. A few years ago the ownership changed and now the customer service is terrible. Questions about the estimate were met with condescension, impatience, and a take it or leave it attitude. Although they did oil change relatively quickly, I wont be going back.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. My husband went in for a service. They told him to wait. Then, without explanation, they closed an hour early. The next day, they quoted him at a 2-hour wait when the place was empty. Do not waste your valuable time and money here!

Stopped by due to low tire pressure sensor going on. The guy in the front was able to quickly inspect and add air to all tires within 10 mins. Very friendly and helpful staff!

AC was never fixed due to parts shortage, due to Covid-19. Old manager Nick is no longer with midas as Im told. So basically paid for a service that never got completed!

My experience was sad put my car in the shop to get it fixed pay them $1,700 for a job that didnt improve the performance of my car at all that brought it back they supposedly replaced the new product that they had already put in and then Id like to pick it up and it was the same identical problem they would not let me take a picture of the part that they took off and it wouldnt give it to me Im very disappointed very disappointed so I rode corporate and I expect to hear from them soon they take advantage of women and especially senior citizen which I am a senior citizen and I hope play repair my car and make it back in a one shape like it once was at no extra cost to me

I made a 10 AM appointment which I was 15 minutes early for and I was still waiting at 11:30 with no time frame for it to be done. At 11:00 AM a pickup with a trailer with a flat on the trailer pulled in and was promptly taken care of as I still waited. Terrible customer service. I’ll never come here again. Went to jiffy lube and was in and out in 45 minutes and no appointment.

They have great customer service. They take the time to explain the work they will do and explain the work that needs to be done. When they can they offer options. They always check to see if the work needs to be done, if not they dont do it. They always give me suggestions for future work that needs to be done, but they never pressure to have it done right now. I usually wait for an oil change which only takes an hour and if they cant do it in an hour they are honest about telling me that.

I will never use Midas again. Very disappointed indeed. They do not honor their warranty. Better off with Firestone at least Firestone honors their roadside Hazzard on tires they sell. Warning Midas is a joke.

Very unhappy experience. I had heard all great things about Midas but unfortunately took in my car for one problem and was given two all of which were not even actually the cause. Paid over $1000 For nothing because at the end of it the same problem for which I took my car and was still wrong. The difference now was my car was working worse, and the check engine lights was still on. After taking my car to the dealership we were told it was a timing belt that was stretched, and not the other 2 issues given.

This shop is fantastic. A great group of guys. Professional and curtious. I have highly recommended them to every one.

Just had my 2006 Volvo in for service. Fantastic job! On time, great customer service, these guys know cars. New water pump, timing belt, recharged AC and more. Drives like new.

My experience at Midas was not great. I went for a wheel alignment. One of the staff members took the car to drive it onto the ramp. He could not drive a stick (manual transmission), so he revved the car up insanely high and burned the clutch so terribly that the burning smell hung around the whole place. Still cant get the smell out of the cabin after an hour, and fear that my clutch sustained some damage.With the car on the ramp, I noticed a nail in the rear tire. They were friendly enough to offer to fix it for me, which I appreciated. Then I started looking at the floor behind the ramp. Found at least six really sharp screws and all kinds of junk lying on the tarmac behind the vehicle.The staff were friendly enough and Im sure the alignment is fine, but overall my experience was that they were a quite careless and slipshod about their work. Also, Im cringing every time I smell that clutch now.

It was pouring rain when I realized my car desperately needed new windshield wipers. Stopped by this local Midas, guys were super friendly and fast, helping me get the right size wipers and affix them to my car.

I went here after trying to deal with the Goodyear location downtown. These guys got me in quickly, didn’t try to up-sell me on anything, and solved the issue Goodyear would not attend to very quickly. I’ll be taking my cars there from now on.

(Copy of most of my consumer complaint filed with the attorney general). On March 21, 2020 I took my car in for a routine oil change. Midas advertised a $29.99 mechanic special which included an oil change, tire rotation, check of all fluids, top off of certain fluids, and visual battery check. I purchased this package because it was cheaper than the price of an oil change alone. I had just had my car serviced which showed that my car did not have any issues prior to getting an oil change at Midas. Once my vehicle was finished, I ran a few errands. Shortly after, the vehicle began to shake and make a strange knocking noise. Then several lights on my dashboard came on including the check engine light and tire slippage light. My hot and cold indicator also continued to flash sequentially. I noticed that my heater had stopped working and was only blowing out freezing cold air. I contacted Midas and left a message indicating my concerns and asked for them to contact me. The owner Shawn Clouse, texted me the next morning. He explained that his staff had only completed an oil change and nothing else, although I had paid for the package. He further explained that he had watched security camera footage which showed that they had not done anything else to my vehicle. I checked the paperwork they had given me as well as the details of the promotion which indicated that more work had been done and was included in the package. I was not sure whether they had simply lied about the work that was completed or if the owner was lying about watching the security cameras. Either way, the owner told me to come in on March 23, 2020 to have the vehicle looked at. Upon my arrival, the mechanic looked at my vehicle. The manger Nick also joined him. Nick eventually came into the shop and aggressively told me that my car was low on coolant. I asked him whether they had checked the coolant during the oil change and he indicated that they had not because hot water could burn the mechanics face. I mentioned that my paperwork indicated that they had checked the coolant and that they said it was full. Again, he stated that they do not check the coolant. I asked why they advertised that they check all fluids if that is not what they actually do which would be a breach of contract. He then yelled to the mechanic to drop my car down and return my keys because he was done with me! He told me to get out very aggressively. I was honestly afraid and shocked at his response. When I got in my vehicle I noticed that that all of the dash-lights were off. I went back into the office and asked what they had done to turn the lights off. Again, Nick became aggressive and said we reset the codes! I asked him what that meant and he replied, I reset the codes! Im done with you, get out! You mention breach of contract? I would fix everything for free but you said breach of contract! Now you can have Toyota do it! In complete shock, I took my vehicle and drove to Toyota dealership. There I was told that Midas should not have reset the codes if they did not do any work and that they should have checked the coolant levels. I called the store and informed them. Nick yelled at me again now stating that they did not reset the codes but had only put water in it. I asked if he could give me a list of all of the things they had done so that I could tell Toyota, but he again yelled at me saying Im done with you and hung up in my face. I texted the owner, Shawn, and told him that I would pursue legal action if they did not resolve the issue. I indicated that his staff had lied and not done the work they said they had. Instead of offering relief, Shawn responded, see you in court. I honestly hope no one has to go through this with this company. Avoid at all costs. I tried to resolve this issue in a civil matter, but the management and owner are completely unprofessional. I now plan pursue legal action as I am sure this is a normal business practice of theirs. Please look at other reviews. I imagine some of the 5 star reviews are fake.

I recently purchased a 2002 Toyota Camry and the check engine light came on within the first week. Yikes! I pulled the code with a diagnostic tool and found that it was an emission system issue which is outside my comfort zone when it comes to doing my own repairs. So I decided to take it to my neighborhood Midas. John the Manager/Master Tech helped me out. I told him my check engine light was on and I pulled the codes which were P0440 and P0442 and he told me it was an emissions issue, so I could tell he was an experienced tech. I brought it in around 9am and they had it ready the same day, which I was not expecting since I didnt have an appointment. I also dealt with the Owner Shawn who was very professional and friendly. If youre looking for an honest shop that does affordable quality work then Midas on 16th st is your place.

Always a professional straight shooting group. Been going to them for over 2 years with two vehicles and never had any problems with bad work or excess markups/services.

These guys got me on the road for the last leg of a 40+ hour road trip. They were friendly and professional and made sure my ride was safe. It took maybe an hour and change, enough time to run around the corner for coffee and a breakfast burrito. A+.If youre, uh, from out of town, 16th is a one way street going toward i5. Dont go pulling out any which way from the parking lot like a dingus when you leave.

I used to always go here for oil changes but I recently got a 2014 Nissan Altima and now its going to cost $100 for an oil change. Im not dumb enough to pay that midas but good try. Called around and found a way better deal.

My back brake light was out and I went to Midas on 16th Avenue Sacramento. The sweetest guy named Brian helped me out and really took care of me. Ive been to so many different car repair companies that weren tree very good, but you always know a trustworthy person when you meet them so Midas is my new go to. I will definitely be giving them my business and would recommend them. It took less than 5 minutes and took the time to hear about all my past car issues. They fixed my brakes. Idk why but I was just put off by the experience. Maybe because I tried to make an appt and never got a call back so I was a walk in so it was different? Not sure. Repairs seemed fine but everything at the end seemed kind of rushed. Not much of explantion but then when I look at the paperwork there is a lot on there. Guy at front desk was friendly.
