I always had a vague sense of being tricked when I took my car in and was given a list of things that needed repair with no explanation.When my car started leaking, a friend recommended Jack Dane. Not only did the team at Jack Dane get my car in great shape, but they made me feel comfortable and confident at every step of the way. They take the time to report out on issues, explain them and help prioritize - a huge help for car novices like me. I will be returning for car service in the future.

I would like to say that I have never experienced such excellent customer service from an auto repair shop in all my many years of being a car owner. I was unable to come in person to the shop due to unforseen issues, but they were more than willing to accept the car from the tow truck. They were very communicative and called or texted me during all the major stages of the process. Phil was awesome. He was very honest and upfront with me regarding the costs and diagnosis. He provided multiple options for service and explained the difference of each option and what they would entail. Not once did he speak to me as if I was a child, but he also made the language clear and for a lay person. He emailed me detailed quotes, that left no guessing about prices or cost. I appreciate them and their work, and I will definitely be back for regular maintenance.

Phil and his staff are great! I recently had my car in for service and was told the shop was so busy, it might be a day or so until my car was completed. About 3 hours later, I had a text saying it was done! They are friendly as well as efficient. Totally recommend this shop!!

Last year about the same time my air conditioner stopped blowing cold.I took it over to Jack Dane and they fixed me up very nicely. I was happy with their work. same thing happened this year AC stopped blowing cold. I brought it in Jack Dane stood behind their work. I was actually expecting to have to pay a couple thousand and they warrantied the part - no charge..

Took our 2015 Honda Accord Coupe in for a general check-up prior to a family vacation. They did a super job, were professional, friendly and we got to pet Jack, the great dane to boot!

The crew at Jack Dane are professionals who dont try to nickel and dime you. Ive had my car in there 4 times now and each time I leave totally satisfied. Its also a great location and makes getting to work or other local businesses easy.

Did a timing belt change with water pump and pulleys and oil pan reseal. Prices were ok as long as the Honda minivan continues to run for a good while. I do like to get as low of a price as possible but I am willing to pay a bit more if there is an assurance of quality, and so far, 2 months after the job, the minivan still runs fine.

Jack Dane Auto Service was recommended to me by the trusted mechanic who does my wifes 2011 MBZ E350, Niko at Midtown Auto. I asked him who I should take my 2013 GMC diesel pickup truck to, now that the warranty is over and I wanted to stop taking it to the GMC dealer. He called Phil the owner of Jack Dane A.S. to find out if he works on diesel engines and Phil said yes.My first service was yesterday. Jack Dane replaced the drivers side low beam headlight bulb and Phil only charged me less than half of the standard charge outlined in the repair book due to his generous discounts. Not only that, Phil had his guys check every system in my nearly 80k mile truck including the alignment and topped off the fluids. I got a top to bottom check for the price of a headlight bulb change. What a deal!Phil was a pleasure to deal with. I found him friendly, respectful, personable, knowledgeable and professional. Same with his wife Dana who I spoke to on the telephone.Take your vehicle, diesel or gas (electric?) to Jack Dane Auto Service! Theyll treat you right, your vehicle will run better and your wallet wont be much lighter!Cant end without saying a word about Jack, Phil & Danas 5 year old great dane. Jack greets you at the door with an extremely calm demeanor. He must know somehow, that he is very intimidating because of his size and so he doesnt want to scare you by being too active. He slowly approaches and gently sniffs you all around, lets you pet him then slowly walks over to the couch and climbs on to continue surveying the front of the store. Jack is the perfect mascot for Phil & Danas business.

This is how service is supposed to be done. Phil was courteous, he took the time to explain what and when it was going to be done. He updated me via text AND phone, and it was always clear where things stood. Seriously- if you want to have good experience with a shop you can trust, look at these guys.

Phil is the gentleman we had contact with. We had the car towed to Jack Dane after hours on Wednesday. They diagnosed the problem quickly. They gave us three options. We were shopping for a used Honda Pilot in the 2013-2015 model year range. As these were used cars by at least 6 years, we got Jack Dane to do a pre-purchase inspection on one and one post purchase within the return window. The shop was awesome to deal with and got us in with the tight time frames that the car dealers gave us to inspect these cars. I would use them again without thinking twice.

Started coming to Jack Dane (previously Made in America, Made in Japan) based solely out of convenience since its a couple of blocks from my work. However, their service has been awesome so I plan to use them as my go-to auto service. Their comprehensive inspections that provide photos and videos of your car are really great for better understanding any issues that may arise. Pricing has been fair as well. It can be difficult to find a trustworthy auto repair spot, but this is a good one.

This morning my car battery died on a garbage day. I needed to move my car to avoid a parking ticket. I pulled my battery out and went to see Phil. Phil looked up my battery and to my surprise it was 7 years old. Within a few minutes I had a new battery and on my way. Great customer service every time I show up. Thanks guys.

Always professional, friendly and transparent. My second trip was for a flat tire, which had no fee since I purchased the tires from my previous visits. All visits were unexpected on my way to work in the morning, I appreciate they are open early and make an already stressful morning more manageable.
