They were amazing with me. i ordered a 4.44 5 speed to replace my blown trans in my 2003 wrx. i got it and it has a slight grind and it got worse within a month or two, i emailed them expecting no reply for a warranty. but they called me on monday after i emailed them saturday. they offered money to fix the current trans or they’ll send another. i got another with no hassle and it’s been great. thank you so much

Great place! When I enter the shop from the get go they provided an excellent customer services, I did purchased a Nissan Infiniti motor and it has been six months already and running like a brand new engine. They have got some great stuff out there! They also have a great tech who installed my motor in a very short time!

I bought an engine with a warranty from them and when I tried to return it for bad intake valves the owner accused me of altering the serial number on the block and refused to take the motor back.Do not due buisness with these people. They do nothing but lie to you, starting with their prices! Im currently in the process of taking them to court.UPDATE: I won my court case against this company and they are still trying to refuse payment. I was kind of hesitant to buy from NW JDM because of the reviews, but since I couldnt locate a Mazda rx8 6 port engine for automatic trans at a reasonable price. I took a chance NW, I talk to Alex, he sent me compression videos as request and gave a start up warranty (nobody wants to give a warranty on rotary engine). Delivery to Texas was prompt. The engine is great! purrs like kitten! I asked a lot of questions, they put the conditions of the sale on the invoice as requested. I would definitely buy from them again6/1/2021 Update: Engine still going strong, my son uses the car to commute to work M- F, 150 miles round trip every day.

DONT BUY A ENGINE FROM HERE!! First engine I got was a EJ20 and one of the heads was filled with oil and metal shavings in the oil. Got a exchange but the second engine one of the heads was rusted away and the cylinder wall was completely rusted out. Stay away!

Came it to get some information on a motor and some coilovers. Was treated with hospitality, kind and friendly service and got to see the products they offer while being informed about them. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend them as your jdm importer shop to go to.

I ordered an Rb25det from them for my engine swap into my Z. Fast and easy ordering and engine showed up quite quickly. Had a slight issue where the ECU didnt show up but after a quick phone call it showed up a few days later. Great customer service and great products. Will 100% do buisness with them in the future!

I drove 700 miles to pick out a 5vzfe. When I made it home the motor had sleeves in all 6 cylinders and a huge pile of metal shavings stuck in the oil pick up tube grill! Definitely not a low mileage engine in good shape as advertised. They offered me a different motor but I asked for partial refund instead given how much I already invested and the risks involved in paying to have have the motor sent back to them. They said the owner was in Japan and they couldn’t easily talk to him for 2 weeks about my partial refund. I reached out again and no response. They are easy enough to work with on the sale, but be sure you’re willing to gamble. Very disappointing.

Ordered 3 motors from them, and all had high wear and ran into problems with each one. The first motor was filled with black gunk and looked as it had a lot more than 60k miles. The last one i received had pieces of bearing and metal shavings in the oil. In the end I just got the refund because of all the time wasted and labor I had to pay for the shop that was supposed to install the engine. I would not look here for a genuine low mileage jdm engine.

Being a woman with little to no knowledge whatsoever in regards to cars, I went into this shop very hesitantly. I had been told I needed a new motor for my Subaru but half of what my mechanic had told me was long forgotten. The guy in this shop made me feel so comfortable and took his time to explain the basics of what I needed for my car. I thought he was just being like another sales man trying to conclude his sale, but the motor he sold me was around the price range my mechanic had told me about. Overall my experience has been marvelous! I highly suggest this shop! THANK YOU!

They had a lot of good stuff but their inventory is inaccurateI was looking for a motor that was posted on ther website as “in stock”. I called over 10 times no answer then arrived to find out they were both sold. Thankfully Venus Imports got me the motor I was looking for and price matched it same day.They had some cool stuff but their ads, and website are misleading

Ryan at Northwest has excellent customer service. He guarantees all his transmissions will fit, and if he cant assure it would work, he wont sell it to you.

Went to buy a Toyota v6 5vzfe. I Was told all compression was above 120psi. I asked for another compression test in person. 3 cylinders read 90psi. Oem psi is 145-180. Dont be fooled by the oil they pour in the cylinder. It bumps up the compression. (Yes it helps lube the rings when its been sitting more months maybe even a year) but make sure all the oil is pushed out first. Feb 22, 2018.

Went and bought a 2004 Honda Civic engine about a month ago, but a day later noticed I was overcharged by $100. I contacted them (the owner) and he said I would get my refund....still no refund though! Very poor customer service considering that it took me 2 weeks to even get him to say he would refund the money to me. I would not do business with them look elsewhere!

DO NOT do business with them. Sent me a 6 speed swap for my Subaru.... clutch set is totally gone. Completely destroyed. Sent me bad axles and offered me $50 refund. Shifter linkage was bad so I had no 5th or 6th gear but easy fix. Also got a Brembo brake set. Rotors are completely gone and the paint on the the calipers were nothing like the picture. Terrible paint. Drive shaft didnt fit. Shoot Im surprised everything else works. Terrible communication and didnt even work with me besides the axles. Guaranteed they lied about it having 45k on the transmission. They said the clutch had 45k on it and it looks like it has 145k.

Knowingly sells defective motors and advertises them as low mileage. Additionally, they conduct transactions without receipt over the telephone. This is an extremely dishonest business lacking any integrity whatsoever.

The guy was Nice until he made a mistake and sold me the wrong motor. He refused to take responsibility by blaming me, Then told me he would GIVE me an Oem STI exhaust for the trouble Then pulled that offer almost immediately. Ended up giving me a beaten up STI wheel in hopes to save face. I wont be doing business with this place again.

We bought an engine and its the wrong engine and we would like to return it but TOM would not accept it and he says its the correct engine,the problem is the engine is from an old model so it wont work.Now we lost our money and a junk engine in our position my advice,keep away from this store.Very bad customer service.The engine cost is $500.00 and he wants to repair it and ask for $500.00 What a very bad experience.
