Dan is amazing. He is not only straight forward and to the point, he is also VERY detailed oriented and great at communicating what’s going on. He is very reasonable and really took the time to explain things to me. I can’t put in to words how thankful I am.His work space is very clean and organized. Every time I went to visit, every car he was working on showed progress and looked really good. I HIGHLY recommend!I hope that it doesn’t take me too long to complete the mechanical components of the car, so I can contact him when I am ready for final bodywork and paint.-installed and aligned parts required to put the body together (as seen in the images provided)-prep/sand/minor bodywork-epoxy primer with a light mist of the color I plan to use for final paint.

I really can’t think of the words to describe the work that Dan and his staff have done. All I can think of is wow! And amazing! The time and effort that they have put into repainting my classic Thunderbird and the attention to detail is second to no one. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to anybody who wants a showroom job done on their vehicle. The extra little touches that they have done for the price they charge me is truly just unheard of. We have a 71 Chevy C10 that was barely driven for several years. Our younger daughter was getting her license and we wanted to fix it up for her. We took it Dan at California Collision and Customs and he spent a lot of time with us going over options to stay within our budget. First priority was fixing mechanical issues and then we moved onto paint and body. The truck turned out amazing! It runs awesome and we put a sweet satin white paint job on it. We have gotten so many compliments...we would highly recommend going to Dan for your classic car project.

Very rude on phone asked about a custom job told them my price range was flexible was told that they would call me back in a couple days. Never heard back from them and then decided to call them, the owner answered and told me my price was way off and I had no clue about the labor involved in such a job and they were not interested then hung up before I could say anything. 0/10 incredibly unprofessional.

Dan Brown is one of the best custom painter and bodywork specialist around. He transformed my fastback mustang into a show winner. His work took my car to the next level and I won two awards at the L.A. Roadster show because of it. He has great ideas and is very honest. I cant wait for him to do my next project.

I needed to have some work done on my 65 Mustang convertible. She is a beautiful red stallion and needed a tune up of the paint, some exhaust work and door alignment. I was referred to Dan by a friend who spoke very highly of Dans work. My baby has an older restoration--mid 80s with old school enamel paint. Well did I get the right shop!! Dan did a cut and buff, custom mixed touch up paint to take care of the rock chips, tuned up the exhaust and realigned the drivers door which is a very difficult chore because of the way the hinges work. Now the car looks like a million dollars. Dan is very professional and was not afraid to tackle this project. You could not do any better. Thanks Dan!!

A year ago my wife bought me a 90% complete 1964.5 Mustang restomod for my birthday. Shes my dream car. I searched and searched for the right shop to do some body work. I even had her in another shop ready to do the work, but I just didnt feel right there so I pulled her out, and started searching again.I called around, researched and looked for high end, great quality, reputable shops. I bought a 1953 Buick and it was a mess. I took it to a few shops they said sure we can fix it, but never heard back from them. I found Dan at California Collision & Customs. They took my car in and Dan and the guys did a great job on my car! Dan went above and beyond. Dan has great customer service. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

If your looking fo a shop to put your ride back to better then you ever expected,then look no further. Dan at California collision and customs work is impeccable. He doesn’t cut corners and takes his time to get it right my 68 El Camino had an unfortunate accident when working in the garage putting in vintage air it popped out of gear and roll down the driveway while we were under the dash, both doors were open when the drivers door hit up against wife’s car the passengers door hit the streetlight pole and the front hit my brothers truck that was parked across the front of the driveway that stopped us from going any further.It was not the same when I got it back gaps on hood fender and doors were perfect the paint look like glass and no orange peel. The black cherry pearl paint popped when light hit it. Dan puts love into everything he does, attention to detail and perfection are not compromised . Don’t waste your time looking for another shop as what I did look no further if you want your classic looking its best no matter what it needs. I had the opportunity to meet Dan a couple years ago after seeing some of his work. Recently, Dan advised me on matching the paint on my 1965 Ranchero and then just today consulting with me on the alignment of the doors on my 1969 GTO. In both instances, Dan was never rushed or too busy to talk with me. In fact today, he even called me on my way home to remind me of what we spoke about! It is clear, Dan cares about his customers regardless of the amount of money they spend. All you need to do is look at his work and you know the rest. I am so glad I reached out to him for help!
