Lots of good stuff but also lots of mislabeled items written in English, they need better translation for the products.

This is the better Asian market in the Sac area. While not the biggest, it has one if the best meats and seafood selection compared to the other markets. Because they are smaller, the turnaround is quicker and more fresh compared to Ranch 99 and SF Market.

This place has really fresh produce and meat! I bought pork and a bunch of different produce. The prices are really good too. Parking is not as big as SF supermarket but I think there are two entrances. I will definitely shop here for all my Asian groceries from now on.

Loads of great products. Bring a mask so you can shop! Did you know theyll fry a fresh fish for you on the spot. Just awesome!Here is my dinner made with supplies from Vinh Phat. I love that they have a huge mushroom selection. Try some of the greens. This is my first time with yam leafs as they were marked. So good!

Everything is good but one bad thing is that they have really bad customer service. Been there couple times but their bad attitude never change.

I visit this market often because of the fresh roast pork and pork buns.The deli makes the best Vietnamese coffee at a reasonable price of $2.50 with boba (tapioca balls). It is very strong and rich in taste. Check out the pictures. The roast pork was so tender and had a crispy skin. It was delicious indeed.

I brought what I hope is fresh fish and king Oyster mushroom soo good. But the thing is no on spoke any English. So it was hard to understand then I am trying g to remember the very little Chinese that I know. The struggle was real. Lol. Never complained when I come to get chicken but the seafood area ill stuck with the Nugget or Safeway.. or try and go fishing myself..lol

The employees they have here some women they treat you with really bad attud and the worst is that you are a customer. And they have jobs because of the customers and customers should be tteated with more respect. because they are not giving us anything for free we are paying for it !!!!!! thats sad to see this behavior in the shopping stores

Me and my brother saw a rat between the rice and he told one of the employees and the worker ignored us and walked away so disgusting.

Vihn Phat Su0emarket has some of the best tasting BBQ pork. It is sweet, tender & reasonably priced.Yummmy!

Not so full of inventory but nice low 3nglish language staffs, nice deli station. Hot foods are great. The roast duck is awesome and the whole roasted pig taste great too. Very low prices.

I bought 2 Rice Paper Water Bowls. When I opened the wraps and saw one was broken. I went back for an exchange but could not because of their no exchange policy they told me. Very disappointed and would never buy any goods here. Just buy produce only!

Packed! Aisles are also quit tiny. Items were also hard to find. Theres fresh/live seafood and theres a meat butcher area but there arent really any pre-packed fresh meat like other markets.

For fresh meat of any kind this is the best place. They ground your beef on the spot. Fresh ground pork and also various seafood and chicken meats. Of course fresh vegetables and all those yummy Asian sauces and noodles. There is a small restaurant for you too!

It’s great to buy everyday spending.. But line pay takes too long.. They hardly help out the Mexican people such as de patching the meat. It’s an example for some of you. Meat dispatcher hardly help other people race. They ignored you until the help there race first. Not trying to sound races it’s what I can see and I experience it myself a couple of time when I’ve gone to buy something..

It’s a little Asian market to get the basic necessities you would need, if you can find it. I called to inquire about products they sell and people there are down right rude. No phone etiquette, what so ever. One line answers that necessarily does not answer your question and before you can ask another you get hung-up on. Or they pick-up your call but basically just hang up on you. Great customer service...far from it. Shopping in-store, no one seems to know where things are when you ask the staff so basically you are on your own to find what you need. Good luck shopping there!

Going there for 5 years good service and good on prices 👍 find everything we needed for kitchen utensils or spices to vegetables and fruits.

Its okay they got what i need. But just have to fight in line to get service from the meat counter because other people there are rude and they have no manners and dont know how to make a line. When I went there two older Asian ladies was arguing about who cut in line thats something you have to deal with at Asian markets.

Detail oriented. You pretty can get all the ingredients you need to cook a dish at vinh phat.Update: 5/3/2021I had a last minute change of plans and needed a roast pig for a party on Sat. I went in on Friday just minutes before they were about to closed up, to place an order. Vinh phat having great service I was able to place my order and pick up the very next day! I know that they normally need a few days in advance for a roast pig. Thank you Vinh Phat! 😊

I enjoy coming here. My friend had a wedding recently and i order a whole roasted pig. The price was great and they had my order ready on time and the pig was a hit at the wedding. They have almost anything you would need for your asian cooking. I recommend going and checking this place out. I am sure you will not leave empty handed.

Really great options of meat and seafood to order by pound. The servers may not speak English but they at least understand if you point and say how many pounds. A lot of great spices and produce as well. Been to this store a couple of times and I always leave satisfied.

This market couldnt be better. The meat counter is extremely fresh. The array of items they have is terrific. The produce is amazing. The bahn mi sandwiches are probably the best in Sacramento. The customer service is excellent and as a bonus there is a small nursery on the side of the market with the most unusually and beautiful plants and saplings. Truly a great Vietnamese market.

I always come for the box of 5 dozen oysters. Just remember to bring something to put them in,. You dont want oyster juice in the car. Boy they cleaned up the fresh fish/meat area. Be patient not a lot of fluent English speaking employees but worth giving the place a try.

Staff remember you and are knowledgeable if an item is out when it will be restocked. If they dont carry something, they can tell you where you might be able to get it. Great place for butchery

Super super market for all things South East Asia!! Super Duper!! Dont be afraid! Most of the staff speak English. If you were in the Nam back in the 70s youll have a flash back. But not just The Nam, its also Bangkok and Hong Kong and Djakarta and Singapore! And if you have someone to cook it for you, you can relive that exciting time of your life!! What a Flash! Affordable and you can buy all your Asian foods here. Sometimes parking is a struggle but just wait and youll find parking. Dont expect common courtesy here, the shoppers will not say excuse me and will push their way in but its the kind of store that youve been going to for so long now that you know where everything is it. Im a regular. Yes its old but the service ous fast! You wont be in the checkout lane long, even when its busy.

Place has always been crowded. Very limited on selections this time. I wanted some large ground pork to make sausages.

Stayed open later than others. When coming home late from work I go here for last minute groceries.

Great place for veges if you go early and great protein selection, but if youre looking for snacks or good variety of candy this isnt the market. Bathroom is horrible, front parking horrible, and the space to move around with a cart is so narrow especially in the vege area.

Grew up coming here so Im used to the staff and such. Good place to find asian spices. Butcher and seafood department a constantly busy. I firmly believe they make the juiciest Peking roast duck in the area. I find they sometimes have good prices on certain things.

The 3 hour drive from where I live is totally worth it. They have everything youd ever need.

ASIAN MARKETS! MANUALLY ENTERING PRICE! The price for Hennessy Privilege is $43.99 at both Welco and Vinh Phat market. I was charged $45.99. I didnt look at the receipt until today but I need to especially with Asian markets entering price and not scanning items. This is the third incident with Vinh Phat last time they refused to exchange my rotten watermelon and another with coconut rotten inside when opened. Only giving four star because the manager Aaron said hell correct the Hennessy issue.

This has been one of my favorite grocery stores to go to and Ive been going here since I was a kiddo. Its small and a little crowded but there are plenty of options available for decent prices. Im a sucker for Asian food. Although it has changed a bit over the years, everything has remained mostly the same.

Cons - dont expect to get any type of customer service if youre not Asian. It sinks. It isnt the cleanest place. Horrible neighborhood. Unorganized. Pros - good selection if you can find what youre looking for and good prices. The guy that gets the BBQ pork and duck for you is always nice. One of the last few store that stock Crystal milk - 1/2 & 1 gallon.

This is a fantastic ethnic grocery store. Great produce, fish, meat and prepared foods.Their whole roast pig is a great way to feed 30+ friends and family.

I buy the majority of our meat here. It just taste better. I have 4 boys that love burgers and tacos. If i need ground beef I wont buy it anywhere else. And when Im lazy I love grabbing garlic cloves thats already ready.

Great prices, most everything is well labeled. Cheapest coconut milk Ive seen. Store-made spring rolls are great, but fried snacks are awful due to bad grease. Followed through store as if we would steal groceries or something.

They have EVERYTHING you need for cooking various Asian cuisine. There is a meat market as well as a fish market inside. There is even a small hot food area thats best right before and around lunch time. In the same area of their hot food there is a menu for banh mi. i Fresh produce is great also.

I was recommended to go to this market, by my Hmong friend when I first moved here, in order to find catfish! This market is a wonder for me to just walk around in and take in all of the Asian foods! My friend was spot on in her advice because they have catfish on ice and live catfish in the tanks! Both are cheap by the pound rather than going into your local Safeway and other big name chain grocers. Ive also found cheap sriracha sauce, my favorite Asian aloe drink and frozen dumplings; yum!!

It has good variety of meats and seafood but it could be a little cleaner. Also if you arent asian they dont pay much attention to you.
