Excellent customer service, the person who helped me went above and beyond. They did not have the part I needed on hand so he took the time to look for a place that did and gave me the telephone number.

I called to see if they had a part for my oven. And though they did not have the part, Kyla spent several minutes checking the internet for me. She inquired on a few web sights and found that the part had been discontinued. I have spent days trying to find this part and even purchased it through an online dealer, only to have the dealer cancel the order a few days later. Now I know that I can stop my search. Thanks to Kyla for her extra service!

Great customer service. Had the part I needed, great price

Yesterday, I made the mistake of thinking I could get a thermal fuse for my Whirlpool dryer from Home Depot. I had looked online, and it was listed as in stock in West Sacramento and Natomas. When I actually walked into a store to get it, associates looked at me like I had three heads. I then called Manuel Joseph Appliances, and a guy there referred me to W L May Co. I was in the Natomas Home Depot parking lot while trying to describe on the phone what the fuse looked like, sans a dryer model number or any identifying number I could see on the plastic body of the fuse itself. The woman at W L May sent me a text photo of a thermal fuse she believed matched up. It did. Arriving there on Market, the same woman was very personable in completing the COVID distance-mandated transaction. My dryer has now been resurrected. This experience was yet another reminder to support independents because of the quality support and knowledge you will receive. Its especially important in these times.

Curt but professional, most are polite enough but...simply know what you talking about or ask - you wont get anywhere tryin to bullshit, these guys they dont got the time for it, they stay plenty busy slinging parts with Mom&Pop reapair outfits or the always running SEARS/ A&E Repair grunts (same outfit its just when you buy a Service Agreement for your shiny new Washer from Lowes Frys or Home Depot ya cant have a guy wearin a SEARS shirt running in your house to put the flamin thing out and back to proper work)Place is sparse not much to look at, grimy counters and usually has butt rock spillin in from the warehouse - and dont even think of going near the can in there close after lunch break! (somebodys got a fondness for Mexican seafood and explosives ..)These guys are alright tho and usually have some hard to gets.. or will get it to ya, sometimes faster than Marcone can and they have a few tools for sale that can save you a step or two if you wrench on appliances often enough.
