Great at ordering and a good if small selection of recent titles. Very clean and nice staff

Came a week or so ago to pick up a book I had called in for. Service was great :)

I went in hoping to get a couple of books and a gift- I was the only person in the store with two people working- not one of them said anything to me or offered to assist me with finding anything. The selection was rather sparse, as I couldnt find any of the books I was looking for- both fairly popular new releases. I had hoped for a nice experience in an actual bookstore, and to maybe get a few suggestions for future purchases- I guess I will stick to Amazon.

The staff is always courteous and helpful. If you are a frequent and avid book buyer I highly recommend the book club. The selection of books, stationary, and gifts is excellent. If they dont have a title you are looking for in stock, the ordering process is simple and reliable. Staff are always clear about expected timetable, the likelihood for delays, and communicative about changes. Easily one of my favorite shops in Rutland!

They may need to fix something because I was never at Phoenix books, may be a bug in the system !!!

Enjoy the variety of books and original gifts; however, Phoenix is a bit pricey for what it is.

Phoenix Books is a nice locally owned book store. The carry most titles in print. I happened to be browsing through local section and found an autographed copy of a non-fiction book by one of my favorite local author. I eventually bought it. The staff at the store are very nice and friendly. They will help you find a book or a gift youre looking for. If its out of print, theyll try to get it for you. You usually wouldnt leave this empty handed.

Awesome bookstore with great gift options as well. I was looking for books for middle school aged children and they had a great young adult section and loads of graphic novels. This is a great bookstore!

They don’t always have the book I’m looking for so I have to order it and wait a while :/ employee can be a bit kinder I asked how much a book was and she was a bit snooty about it I genuinely couldn’t find the price tag

Book stores are a dying breed so spring them is a priority. I did find the layout and selection a little slacking. But the workers seemed very friendly and looking to lend a hand.
