Just like any major project, I got quotes from 3 suppliers, but Creative Carpet blew the other two out easily!Compared to the other 2 that I had, Creative Carpets had both a carpet with better materials (nylon), and still cheaper than the competition that was selling polyester! Installation just finished yesterday and it looks great!Installers were very professional and brought up questions as they came up. Very highly recommended!

Like many people in Royal Oak, my basement flooded during the 8/11/14 historical rainfall. It was a finished basement. Though I could not afford to get my entire basement re-carpeted at the moment, I wanted to at least get my stairway to the basement re-carpeted because what was underneath the old carpet is very old vinyl tile which could quite possibly contain asbestos. So I called Creative Carpet since they are literally less than a block from my house. From the moment I called until the job was complete, I cannot name one thing that I didnt like. They were polite, professional, prompt and the cost was reasonable. The carpet was installed last night and, now that the job is done, I can tell you this -- you cant beat their quality! Its a family owned business, and the family does the actual work, too. Jim, Karen and Danny are top notch! He (Danny) showed up right on time, didnt rush the job, was very friendly and professional, patiently listened to and answered all of my questions, cleaned up after himself as he went along, thanked me for my business and left my house in the same condition he found it in...except for now I have beautiful carpeting on my stairway again! I would definitely recommend Creative Carpet to anyone in need of new carpeting living in the area and I will certainly use them again when I am ready to re-carpet the basement...or when I need new carpet in my house anywhere, for that matter. This family owned business is incredible! I come from a family of teachers and both of my parents and myself had all of the kids as students. They work hard and get the job done right and always have a great attitude. They care for your house and keep their work clean. Their prices are competitive but they job they do is priceless. I will go with a small family owned business like this before going to some faceless company any day. A great business owned by a great local family. Trust me, you will be happy you went here!

Creative Carpets did an outstanding job with a complex curved stairway carpet installation that involved cutting and fitting around numerous spindles. Everyone from office support to installers were very helpful, hard working and skilled. beautiful job!

Small store and cramped. But all good as I prefer the small independents. But the pricing wad more than several others including larger stores.
