Joe was honestly the reason for me writing this review because of how helpful and honest with how he dealt my situation. I wanted something that they didnt even have on lot and he was friendly enough to let me let me test drive whatever was on lot anyways. But thats not why he is the ideal car salesman, he managed to find a vehicle I didnt even know I wanted. After searching and test driving for months meeting Joe and knowing him one day changed my car searching right then and there. I highly suggest you seek him out to be your representative to help find yourself a car because he will put in the work to go the extra mile to get something that will be worthy of buying. I managed to walk off the lot with a basically new car put the pricetag of a used car! 🚙💲

After reading the 7 previous negative reviews on Google concerning Royal Oak Ford, I thought I would describe my own experience from August 2012 (and as Im posting this from my personal G+ account, you can be sure its authentic)..... I recently purchased a 2013 Escape from Richard Bell, a member of the sales team at Royal Oak Ford on Woodward just N of 11. In short, my experience was fantastic from start to finish. This is my 6th new vehicle (first Ford) and Rich is by far the easiest sales person Ive worked with to date. When I first walked into the dealership, I told him I was either buying a GM Truck (Canyon) or an Escape. We took the Escape for a drive and when we returned to the dealership, he said, Hey, go take the the Canyon for a ride and buzz me back if youre still interested in the Escape. My point: he made no attempt to lock me in, sign something, or manipulate my choice. I looked at several Canyons, but in the end I wanted an Escape. And then the work began! I put Rich through the ringer with options, availability, and the numbers. He gave me his personal cell number and I VERY MUCH appreciated being able to text him questions, his quick responses, and follow-ups......many times after hours. To wrap it up, if you think you want a Ford, go see Rich Bell at Royal Oak Ford - I would expect that you get a trustworthy, enthusiastic, great sales experience. Todd PS - Im Lovin The Escape too!!

I can tell you without a doubt, your service is HIGHLY dependent on your sales person, your service person or your body shop person. Id highly recommend Lawrence in sales, Jim in Service and pretty much anyone at the body shop.

I called on a Monday morning to explain to their service department that I dropped my vehicle off to their lot the night before because my car cut off on me on the freeway and I didn’t know what was wrong. Before I could even explain my issue, the woman who answers the phone demanded to know my name so that she could see which tech was assigned to my vehicle. As I was trying to explain to her that no one would’ve been assigned to my vehicle yet because I had just dropped it off and they were closed at the time, she insisted that I dropped it at a different location. When I explained and confirmed that it was in fact their location my vehicle was at, she then proceeded to tell me how they couldn’t help me because they didn’t have my keys. If she would’ve let me finish my sentence to begin with, she would’ve known i was calling to request their shuttle service and to simply let them know why there was an unknown car parked on their lot. When I asked to speak to someone else, she placed me on hold for over 13 minutes and never returned to the phone. If this is the type of service I have to look forward to at this dealership, I’d rather deal with my normal Ford dealer. This is simply my local location and I thought it would be easier than paying for towing 20 miles away from me but the customer service here is horrible from what I’ve experienced so far.*update I came to the dealership. Stood at the cashier area in the service area for over 10 minutes, several employees walked by and not one even greeted me to let me know that I would be serviced soon.

I just wanted to say thank you to Royal Oak Ford Collision Center as they did a great Job on my Fusion, and a special thanks to Brad the Collision Center Manager who went above and beyond what he had to do. Thank You...I would highly recommend this collision center and dealership.

STAY AWAY, purchased a supposedly certified used vehicle that went thru their 50 point inspection, within 24 hrs it was broke down, had to have it towed back there(at my expense) for repair, within 24 hrs it was broke down again, supposedly fixed again only to breakdown again with 72 hrs.I took it to a different ford dealer only to find out the engine was bad and needed replaced.They are liars and scam artists with the used car manager Chris Baroli leading the this team of incompetent clowns.No return phone calls, rude and poor communication and lies are the way they do business once they have your money

If I can give 0 stars I would. Where do I start? I heard about Tommy Leman off 102.7f.m. I call Tommy Leman spoke with him told him about my credit problems. We set a time and a date and he also told me that I needed to bring $1000. I called Tommy early Monday to let him know that I just moved and I had a lot of unexpected things to pay for and that I needed to cancel my appointment because I didnt have the $1000. He told me to come in because he still can help me. After being there for 5 1/2 he told me that I needed $1500 down I told him if I didnt have the $1000 what makes him think I had $1500? He ask me will I have it Friday I told him I dont know because its a lot of things that hasnt came out of my checking account yet, I also told him if I dont that I might be able to have it in 2 wks. Long story short 2 days later I drove off the lot with the car. The following Friday I wasnt at home I was at the hospital because I injury myself at work. I wasnt at home but the car was there I get home with 2 sign on the car saying that he took the plate off the car, one sign on my front door and a BIG MOVING TRUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY. My sister in law is a attorney, she came to the house and seen everything he has done, my sister in law said everything hes doing is harassment Tomorrow 10/31/16 I will be making a police report on Tommy Lee for harassment. I have all the pictures and text message.
