The right place to buy your paints!

Kudos to Kyle at Sherwin Williams for solving my paint purchase dilemma for a recent home painting project. Our HOA requires paint colors to be in keeping with bylaws of our HOA. I was in need of a sample for some paint selections I was wishing to make changes in. I had been planning the project for sometime and no sample materials were available for the past couple of months. He found a creative solution to problem solve my request which couldnt be fulfilled in the usual transaction process. Sent me on my way paint in hand and ready for my project. Place is clean and organized, nice lighting, friendly helpful, hardworking staff. Crazy overpriced for paint unless you have a contractors discount. With that discount, you can get 30 - 50% off which adds to the notion of it being incredibly overpriced.

I dont know about all SW stores but I was amazed when I visited the Rowlett store 7429 this week. There were several customers and only one clerk whose name,I believe was Joy. She waited on about 5 of us with astonishing speed and good nature. She never wasted a step as she flitted from one to the others needs. I was there about 45 minutes but was very impressed with her positive nature and efficiency.

It is very well organized and it has a diverse collection of stuff going from paint to tools

Staff is welcoming and courteous. Suggested that I utilize the in-home color consultation service after I explained how overwhelmed I was. It was the best suggestion ever as Robbie helped me tie in my complete hone color scheme.

Friendly staff. Quick service and ease of selection. I showed the service counter person a picture of the paint formula and she was able to mix it right up, spot on and save it to my records and not to my previous contractor. This way, we know our paint colors for our home, which is all Sherwin Williams.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Black dude working evening shift is found sitting In the back room doing whatever he is doing when I come to the front. Acts like I am doing something wrong when approaching me with an accusatory stare. Tells me I need to leave because its too late to match some paint on a drywall. No apologies or anything. Last time I checked this is not customer service or courtesy. Even if its fifteen minutes before closing you need to do your job.

THIS particular Sherwin-Williams store in Rowlett is always so helpful. They are ready to help and very friendly. If I need paint, I skip Home Depot and Lowes and come to this store!
