This Thorntons location is great! The gas station is easy to get into and out of no matter what direction you are heading. There are plenty of pumps so I have never had to wait to get a spot. I recommend stopping here over any other station near by.The fuel prices are usually some of the best in the area. The convenience store is kept clean, the items are costed fairly, and the employees are kind and helpful.

Easy to get in and out of, the store is always clean but it is always busy. There is often confusion as to where the line is since it starts in random aisles depending on which customer starts it. The staff is friendly and quick to call in extra help up front when needed

The Spanish lady with the long hair is rude arrogant and lazy! Because I took my mask down slightly to take a sip of my drink she said put it back IM NOT SERVING YOU.AND PROCEEDED TO TELL ME TO TELL MY HUSBAND TO BRING HIS FOOD AND DRINK BACK. So my boyfriend and I went inside today to get some ice cream and after paying I felt a stabbing pain, I took my foot out of my slide on shoe and found a piece of glass lodged into my heel. Now I’m not saying the store had loose glass on the floor, quite frankly I don’t know where it came from but I’m not blaming the store. What I’m upset about is while my foot is excessively bleeding and creating a puddle of blood on the floor, two workers and a manager couldn’t have cared less. I had my boyfriend run to get napkins and he asked the workers for some bandaids, they simply ignored him. I asked and one worker rolled his eyes and walked away. My boyfriend informed them that a mop may be needed, the manager muttered about me making a mess and told his other worker to get a mop, who made a fuss about it, exasperated sigh, rolling his eyes, and shaking his head. Eventually I got two band aids and two alcohol wipes, thankfully, but not one worker asked if I needed anything else, only acted as if I just ruined their entire day. It was humiliating. My soft serve ice cream was completely melted by this time but I was too embarrassed to ask about it I just limped out of the store. I’ve worked as a gas station assistant and I would have never let a customer feel this way. Especially when you have three workers and a very small line of customers, I’m talking two customers. This was a terrible experience and I can’t bear to go back

Donuts Sunday night would be nice if the lady could just put them out so we can buy them...went in at 1 am still not out usually always out by 12am weekdays...she says she hasnt gotten to it yet...sliding 6 trays into a glass case seems like she could have gotten too if she wasnt chatting with all her friends ....walk in 4 people chatting and laughing no masks....scary place to be lately I held my breath

Most employees are nice however the drink machines are gross. At times looks like they havent cleaned them in days. Same with them prepared foods and donut area. Tried them one more time to see if its better and nothings changed.

2 stars for the good employees and I’m taking 3 stars for the bad pumps outside... so basically I like to fill out my car with gas from outside but these pumps need to be replace soon as possible .... every time I have to deal with this

This gas station always has problems, last time the pump sensor did not capture that my tank was full and It continue filling gas to the point that all the gas came out of my car and spilled all over the floor this happened 3 times. And just now 2 pumps are not working and the staff dont even bother to mark them down.Is it the staff suppost to performed a test or do the Preventive Maintenance on all the pumps?

I like this gas station they remodel the place pretty nice and the have everything, if you use your rewards card you get discounts, an email with the receipt which is pretty cool

I am sick to death or clerks not being allowed to use common sense. I find it rude and unnecessary to be asked for my ID to buy a pack of cigarettes or a 6 pack.. Why does a 55 year old woman need to show her ID to an 18 yr old. Is it because I look like I might be under 21? No. Its because you have a mandatory set of rules your clerks need to follow and they are not allowed to use their brains. Its ridiculous and an unnecessary invasion of my privacy. I will take my business elsewhere.

Last time I was there the woman who helped me, Samantha; was to busy looking at his coworker phone, she didnt even make eye contact with me which is very rude when you are in costumer service; thanks to that i had to get back to here two more times just because of her mistake, i prepaid, she got the wrong amount and the wrong pump, i noticed it once i was outside, then came back to fix it, then the third time to get a refund because I paid with a credit card and i didnt use the whole amount so i had to get back inside to get it again because of her mistake and every time i had to wait for my turn for her service, the worst part was her attitude, she was not even sorry on the opposite she acted like it was my fault, i usually go there and no complaints but this time ...

The donut cabinet is super gross, and the coffee is often full of grounds.

Rude & unhappy employees. Never coming back again. From now on, Ill go to fox lake or gurnee if I have to. Unacceptable since Ive been going here for years.
