Wow! Mayes Lumber left an impression...They custom cut a beautiful door that I purchased (AND, prior to cutting, came to my building to make sure that the measurements were correct. I couldnt believe it.). Awesome service.Initially, it was sensory overload, because there is SO MUCH to see. Theyve earned the five star rating. If you want some weird thing every hardware store in town DOESNT have, Mayes will. If you arent particularly fond of the deer in the headlights look you get at Home Depot and other places, youll be refreshed to shop at Mayes. Its a truly one-of-a-kind operation with a rich history, helpful people, and exhaustive selection of everything under the sun. All this, and Im not even local!

Thanks to this wonderful family our pool looks beautiful and healthy every year. Mayes Lumber has just about anything you need and if they dont have it believe me they can and will get it for you. Being the 3td generation to run and own the place they give you personal attention you just cannot find anywhere else. They make you feel almost like a part of the family. In there almost everyday having to purchase something, and there prices are just unbelievable. But if you like to feel like your more then just a customer where there just trying to make money off of you that is the place that I would go to. Richard and Maryjane M. are kind and trustworthy people Mayes Lumber is I myself would say the best place in Chavez County to go to maybe even further out.

I loves Mayes. They carry things you cant find in other lumber yards. Todays item of choice was wood pellets for our pellet stoves. No one else in town had them but Mayes always does!
