What a great little place to take the kids and what a great artist!! And at a really great price. The man who designed it is also the one at the front counter and he was so nice and even sparked conversation with my son about Spiderman!
Amazing place to go so many things to see. The set up is cool and the back story is even better. I loved how the black lights were set up and The maze you walk trough and The different seances that were set up. The owner was the nicest person I have ever met. Me and my wife had a blast and will deftly stop back and check it out again if we are ever in the naborhood.
This place was probably our favorite place to go to while in Roswell NM. Our 4 kids really enjoyed it and loved all the bright glow in the dark colors. There was so much to see. All 6 of us loved it. Through I feel like they shouldnt charge for children under 4.
If youve got five minutes and five dollars this is an awesome way to experience all the cheeky extraterrestrial fun that Roswell has to offer. Guy at the counter was super nice and obviously a lot of effort went into the experience. Dont take anything too seriously and youll have a blast! 👽👽👽🛸🛸🛸🌌🌌🌌
Is quick but worth the price. I do not recommend for small children or kids that are scared of the dark.
WOW !!! What a fantastic Surprise !! This is a Gem of a find in Roswell ... I felt like I did way back when I was kid going thru my Dads comic books ..This place has Robots, Art, Toys, Aliens, Blacklights, fog machines, and it is Awesome .... This place embraces the Roswell Aliens perfectly ... You have to do this !!!! Kids and adults will love ... I even purchased some art !!! Follow the green Alien footsteps !! 5 STARS AND 2 BIG ALIEN THUMBS WAY UP👽👽👽👽 👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
Very small store with small selection. The black light space walk is $2 for adults and $1 for kids under 12. It only takes 1-2 minutes to walk through, but was a good way for our little kids to stretch their legs on our road trip. The main issue was that there is not a public restroom to use. So, dont use this as a restroom break! The lady working there was very nice, though.
A couple of these reviews have been mixed up with the museum. This is not the museum. There is no reading.I recommend this for all ages! My husband and I were so glad we did it! Its super cool and very detailed. Its all black lights and glowy things. Youre allowed to take pictures and video as you go through. The setting for the walkthrough is as if youve been abducted by aliens.A lot of work was put into it, and you can tell. For $5, the walk through is well worth it. The owner was telling us some of his ideas for even more updates, and we cant wait to go again!
THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!!! This is a must-see if youre passing through Roswell. The owners were some of the friendliest people Ive ever come across. Its a very nice sized space with the entrance area being utilized to display the owners art (which is amazing 1950s, sci-fi themed, very affordable paintings and prints). The back area is curtained off where youll experience the spacewalk which is a short walk through that is decorated and themed with the same nostalgic sci-fi art! The artist/owner also did a great job utilizing 50s sci-fi soundtracks throughout the spacewalk. Perfect addition to our UFO festival experience!!!
Very cool little set up. My girlfriend and I stopped in Roswell during a recent trip and with a lot of things being shut down or operating on different hours due to covid, we were excited to find something fun to do that was open. Its not very long, but its very well set up and very cool and at a cost of $5, I wouldnt hesitate to see it. The man running it was very friendly and informative which made the experience all the better.
Fantastic place! If you’re looking for the Roswell “alien experience” this is it! Better than the alien museum, visually. Super fun and you can walk through as many times as you want! Definitely a must if you’re visiting Roswell.
We loved this place. Went 3 times in our 4 day stay in Roswell. The owner is so super sweet and talented.Highly recommend. It is inexpensive and just a fun treat for a couple minutes. My son begged us every day to go again.
Highly recommend this little gem if you’re in Roswell. So fun and perfect picture opportunities. Admission is only $5 for adults and you get free stickers and glow sticks. The guy at the front was so friendly and welcoming. Just follow the little green footsteps on the sidewalk. That’s how we found it!
Very friendly owners, unique artwork and the blacklight spacewalk was cool. Very budget friendly and fun for everyone!
Such a fun experience and the man helping us was so kind and fun! He seems like he’s there just to create and spread a bit of happiness for everyone who visits Roswell and I would say he absolutely succeeded! This Spacewalk made me feel like a child again and was so whimsical with extremely reasonable pricing. I would say it’s 100% a must do in Roswell!
Today known as the Roswell UFO Spacewalk, a VERY COOL, beautiful, psychedelic (and funny!) alien-themed adventure. Its exactly the kind of attraction I was hoping to find in Roswell. Inexpensive, very friendly people, and great souvenirs! If you have just a few minutes to do one thing in Roswell, do this.
My kids love this place. And the owner is amazing and super nice. Definitely a fun place to take the kids and he has great stuff to buy as well. 😁
Super cute, the owners are so sweet and kind. The space experience is amazing amd super clean!
The Roswell UFO Spacewalk is fantastic fun! The owner is super friendly with a contagious level of energy. It was only $5.00 admission with free stickers and glow bracelets. Great souvenirs and art work too!
This place was a hidden gem! The owner was THE friendliest and upbeat person! I wanted to sit and talk to him all day. He has space themed art on the walls by the desk that are breath taking! Quite talented. When you walk in, the glow in the dark decor sets the theme. This attraction was the best thing we did in Roswell hands down. Its great for all ages too. 10/10 would recommend.
This place is special. If in Roswell, go. Built by a transplant from California, who also happens to be an artist with an affinity for mid-20th century comic book art. Its an installation with lots of campy sound and cool black-light visuals that seeks to transport you by flying saucer, via a wormhole, to a distant alien world, including some 50s-era horror themes. For a very reasonable price, take as many trips to this other world and back, and have a look at some of the owners art, with prints on sale, or just have a chat. Very neat!
This mans energy is so amazing as well as his art. Beautiful work and a beautiful place!!! So much fun. 10/10 recommend to everyone!
So much fun for so little money, totally worth popping into even if you are just passing through NM. Friendly owner who looked like he put a lot of work into this place and it looks great. So much fun that I went through twice. Fun for all ages.
This is no longer the Roswell Space Center. There is a new business there now called the Roswell UFO Spacewalk and it is awesome. It opened in July 2019 and features an amazing walk-through blacklight adventure, as well as the artist’s original art in the lobby. Photos and videos come out great and you can go through the exhibit more than once. It is great fun for the entire family.
Great place to come visit! The owners are super friendly and the walk through a lot of fun. Definitely worth a visit if youre in the neighbourhood. Also Google says that its not open Mondays but it actually is.
The Space walk was one of the coolest places my family visited while in Roswell, a fun experience for a family of all ages. We really enjoyed the creative, fun atmosphere. The owner was super nice and friendly. And it is inexpensive! Worth a few minutes of your time!
Must see! An alien haunted house, fun! Great conversation with the host. Always new additions, look for more special effects in October 2020.
This place was great. The only alien experience that was open. The art work is fantastic and the walk through is entertaining.
Great place to visit and walk through. Gift shop is kinda limited to what it has.
This is a very fun spot for families. The Spacewalk was a campy blast, and the owners are so friendly. Definitely worth a stop. And the artwork for sale is pretty cool!
We drove from Seattle and the shop owners were some of the friendliest people we came across on the whole trip! Definitely worth a stop, very fun experience
Awesome place to visit for the little ones.
Very fun experience. My daughter and I loved it!
Yes, its shmaltzy, and in the best kind of way. You will have a good time. The proprietor is fabulous, and his love for the space comes through crystal clear in his other worldly disposition. It put a smile on this curmudgeons face, and thats something.
A short experience, but a very enjoyable one! The kind man at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Next time I come to Roswell I will most definitely go again!
Great place for kids
We have 5 and 8 year old girls and this was definitely our favorite spot in Roswell. Follow the little green footprints! I wish all the best to this new business
Love this place. Owners are great!
Absolutely loved it!!!! The guy working the front desk was so into what this place had to offer, it made everything that much more enjoyable. Very entertaining, amazing artwork, great attention to detail, and amazing staff.
So cool!! Definitely worth checkin’ out. It’s very well put together and the art is phenomenal!
What a great experience. I went last year but still remember it like it was yesterday. A must go to place when visiting. Especially if you have children.
In 2006 Larry and Sharon Welz built Spacewalk at Roswell Space Center, a trippy walk-thru black light adventure that took visitors from the dawn of the Atomic Age to the City of the Future. It closed in 2018. The attraction space was then taken over by another artist, Bryan Ward, who renamed it Roswell UFO Spacewalk and filled it with his own trippy walk-thru black light adventure. As he described, You get beamed up by an alien spaceship and then go through outer space -- a wormhole -- to an alien planet and a cave full of mutants, before you make it back to Earth, unscathed! Bryan admitted that the similarity in names between the old and new versions of Spacewalk could be confusing, but he feels that the attraction itself has been greatly improved, with tons of special effects and animatronics. Also, the former gift shop has been turned into a gallery of Bryans space art, which evokes the luridly-colored science fiction pulp magazine covers and movie poster illustrations of the 1950s. Those giddy retro-visions seem well-suited for a clientele of woozy Roswell spacewalkers.
I use to live in roswell and Took sister and niece here. It wasint here when I lived here. Only 5 dollars for the blacklight walkthrough. The guy at the front was really nice and welcoming. Gave us free stickers and glowsticks bracelets. I wasint expecting much. When we walked through the curtain we were greeted with amazing blacklight visuals. My favorite room was one where you were inside the spaceship and looking out at the galaxy.Definitely recommend everyone in roswell to go!
SPACE WALK! This place is way cooler now thats its been redone as a far out intergalactic black light space walk experience! My kids loved it, especially my just turned 3 yr old, he went like 5 times lol. It was his favorite part of Alien Town for sure, lol. The guy at the front (owner/operator I believe) was very friendly and informative as well. We will be back for sure next time thru
Well done!!! We had a great time wondering around!!! Very creative and fun!!!!!! Highly recommend. Worth the few dollars and his art for sale is amazing if you are into retro alein art.
Great place to get a start on the 👽 experience. Been there many times and never gets old. Kinda small, but has everything you need to know about what happened during the Roswell incident.
Great place to come to with the family. Lots of read, movies that they show. Restrooms are clean an the staff is helpful an friendly. Ask for the military discount if your family member is or was in the military. You get a sticker pass which lets you come back in if you need to leave . Subway is right around the corner. Educational place with lots of aliens!
I was hunting for the cheesy, cheap tourist experience in Roswell. Looking for cute little alien things, and it was surprisingly difficult to find against what I was expecting. But this little shop was adorable, very fairly priced, and exactly what I was hoping to find! A+, definitely stop by if youre a fan of the extraterrestrial!
Probably only worth a 3 but its only $5 bucks. People are super nice that run it too.
This place is definatley one of Roswells coolest places! Whats even more amazing is that the owner designed and built it himself. The owner is super awesome! If you want to experience something different in Roswell check out the spacewalk!!
The owner is super nice! He let us go in twice! Very cool place to visit while youre in town!!
Really cool art. Really creative little walk through. My kids loved it and it was reasonably priced.
Nice, well laid out facility. Good lighting, clean bathrooms, well stocked gift shop. Staff very friendly and gave us military discount. Also, the museum is pet friendly!
Woman at the desk who I believe was one of the owners was awsome. Artwork was very imaginative. Glad the man at the visitor center told us about it.
Great place for everyone. Definitely put in your go to list.
It was a great amazing experience the kids loved it so much we went back two more times
Was hoping for so much more. Kinda lame but your kids will have fun looking at the alien figures. To much stuff to read and we all know kids attention span isnt all that great.
Definitely worth the $5 as we love these type of attractions. The owner is so nice and will be constantly updating the attraction.
Amazing!! Very cool experience, 100 times more recommended than the UFO museum!
Awesome set up. I loved seeing things Ive done research on in person. Lots of space to walk. Plenty of things to check out. I could totally spend hours here!
Stopped here on a pit stop in Roswell a few weeks ago. Checked the doors twice after posted opening hours (about an hour apart) and no one was there. It was the middle of the week... kinda disappointed I wasnt able to enjoy this place!
Go see the space walk you will be very happy!
#1 thing you have to do if you are in roswell!
What a cool place. It was worth the fee. Very friendly owner.
Love the creative handcrafted work with new tech!!! Is so worth the $5!!! Love love
In credible fun place. Will be back next year
If you’re in Roswell NM DONT LEAVE WITHOU DOING THE SPACE WALK !!! My family and I love this place. Hidden gem for sure !
Simple walkthrough that was very well done! Inexpensive, high effort, high quality. My group was 20 year olds who all agreed that it was well worth making a trip to the space walk. Not far from really great restaurants and shops, so add it onto your list of things to see and do! I recommend no pictures the 1st time thru, just enjoy it, then on your second walk thru, take all the pictures, though Im sure its memorable enough as is!
Fun place to shop and hang out with interesting people.
This was short but it was neat and the guy at the front was relly nice
Very cool little shop. The space walk was only $2 for a short and sweet walkthrough, but had great blacklight art. And the shop had some pretty cool souvenirs.
Awesome experience. Worth every penny.
Awesome place! I think we wandered for a couple of hours. So much to see and read.
Very cool place. Spent way more time in here than I intended
Cool, well-maintained blacklight art exhibit. Worth it.
The best alien store we visited in Roswell. Space walk is well worth the $2 admission.
They should have closed their doors years ago, along with all the other space alien shops. No reason to stop here, or Roswell.
I loved the place, its people, the history behind Roswells 1947 events. Go and visit the wonderful place
Really cool hole in the wall definitely worth the visit, Space walk only 2$
The price of admission is NOT well advertised. A grumpy old woman runs the store and is not only rude, but abrasive. The mediocre space walk is really a sorry excuse for an attraction. Not worth admission. Do not go here.
So much fun!Highlight of the trip so far!
Fun stop. We learned many new things about UFO sightings!
This is the greatest thing Ive done for $2.
This was really weird the lady at the counter dint know how to give us our change space walk was cool but short almost no products
The blacklight rooms were neat. Guy running the place was kind, warm, and funny.
Space wall was very awesome. Will go again when we pass through next year!
Great store full of really unique T-shirts and the space walk was a neat little art installation.
Very friendly! Awesome spacewalk!
Cute shop with a big selection of alien stuff
Very interesting place with plenty to see.
