We had to terminate our first contractor midway through our project leaving us with tons of problems. We called Avatar, and they were very responsive. Is amazing how the company back up all the aspect of the process; even in those trades where issues appear (because we are all human) they back it up and stick to their responsibility until the work was complete. I literally could leave my house and they could let themselves in and leave while I could be gone for hours. We wanted to remodel our powder room and our basement bathroom and we chose The Avatar Contractor Group to complete the project for us – it was an incredibly good decision on our part – Avatar was outstanding from beginning to completion.1. Washington (Sales) worked closely with us to get to a final quote. From the initial call to signing a final quote took about two weeks with several iterations to get there. At every step, Washington recommended and advised and at no time put pressure on us to go with Avatar. That consultative/no pressure approach was really appreciated2. The homeowner is expected to procure a lot of the fixtures and fittings and Avatar supplies the larger items e.g. vanity, shower door, etc. We had no experience in doing this but Avatar guided us every step of the way. Avatar made everything really easy3. Avatar is one of the larger companies in the area with a lot of highly skilled people. From demolition to completion, we had, perhaps, six to eight on the team. The project manager, Osmany, was outstanding and the quality of the work from everyone on his team was to the very highest standard.4. As in projects of this nature, there were a few change orders. They were really minimal and the pricing was very fair.5. And after everything was completed, the cleaning team did a wonderful job6. There were a few post-projects items to correct. These were, again, minimal and were taken care of by Osmany within 24 hours.7.Lastly, Avatar set up an iMessage routine where we, Washington and Osmany could communicate in close to real-time. Their responsiveness was impeccable.Without hesitation, I would recommend Avatar to anyone considering a remodeling project – small or large – They are really GREAT!!

Complete kitchen remodeling with exterior extension. Project take longer than expected due to permitting, communication was daily and have no complains about the over all crews that come and work in our house. The interior and belonging was well masked and protected from the beginning witch make us fear comfortable from day one. We had our master bath completely remodeled. Washington was on the front end with initial communication and quote and was very good to deal with. He also stayed involved throughout project, when or if needed. Osmany was our project manager. He was equally good to deal with, he knew his business and helped us avoid some missteps. And I can’t say enough for their subcontractors. A master bath is a situation where they live in your house for a short while and potentially have free access in and out. We were never uncomfortable with that arrangement. But beyond that, they were all very good people and a pleasure to be around. I would be happy to recommend Avatar.

We hired Avatar Contactor to work on our kitchen, master bathroom, create a laundry room and few other things . We purchased an older home and we wanted to bring it to this century. Be careful about theses guys. One guy by the name of Washington came from this company to do a quote, then while I away he punched a small hole in my bathroom tiles so he can increase the repair estimate. Very shady people.

Avatar was dream come true! I trusted the reviews and decided to give them a shot on our bathroom restoration project. They did not disappoint! Washington, Osmany and their crew went above and beyond to quote, demo and bring our damaged bathroom back to life! They finished the project in less than two weeks and this included finding and fixing a leak GREEN BASEMENTS left in our Master Bathroom! This was HUGE since Green Basements had already “fixed” the leak once. This was after Green Basements took SIX MONTHS to redo a master bathroom they charged me over 35K for! Thank you, Avatar for seeing the leak and repairing it before it became an immensely costly situation.Avatar’s work far exceeded my expectations. They were so good we used them to install hardwood floors on our landing and steps! And again, the project was handled professionally, quickly and with amazing communication! After they were done, my wife wanted them to come back to remove an old fixture left on the wall of the bathroom and they did! I hired Avatar Contractor to close off an existing Master Bedroom Suite and create a door in the hallway. Antonio, the contractor, was very courteous and knowledgeable. We recently had a our master bathroom renovated from demo to completion by Avatar. We originally experienced some water damage in our finished basement and an insurance adjuster identified the issue to be the master bath shower floor leaking. Our insurance company worked to provide us a claim to completely redo the bathroom. It was very important for us to find a contractor that would work with our somewhat fixed budget associated with insurance claim. I did some research and read many reviews on various websites. From the very first contact with Avatar and Antonio, I began to feel assured that our project was going to be handled professionally and completed to our satisfaction. Weve done various small and large renovations to the house and outside areas and every time have had a sub-par experience. This was not the case at all with Avatar. Antonio came out the very next day after our original contact, evaluated the project, read and understood our insurance claim, and assured us that his company operated on a model based on customer excellence and impeccable workmanship. Antonio worked with us from the very beginning to provide an estimate that fit within our budget and time frame that worked for our family. I had my ceiling in my garage ripped out to have spray foam insulation put in by another company. I really needed someone to replace the entire ceiling in my garage with drywall and paint it and that’s how I came to discover Avatar.
