I’ve been taking my Wrangler to them for over a decade. Always excellent, trustworthy service. All of the work they have done has been better, faster, and less expensive than anywhere I’d gone before. They check it over and let you know what needs to be fixed. They give you advice on things that don’t need immediate service, but that you need to keep an eye on. They don’t try to sell you anything that’s not needed. Dan, Jeff, and Kim are all great to work with. I recommend them to everyone who owns a Jeep (or almost anything else!)

I have had my 94 Jeep Cherokee since I was 15 years old and it was a mistake to bring it anywhere else but here. Im fully confident in the staffs capabilities, suggestions, and honesty and now this is my official auto repair shop. Had full engine replacement on my Wrangler about a year ago. They are professional and know all things Jeep. I found the shop through forum feedback and even though I don’t live close will drive back for any major repairs. Very happy with my experience.

Overall phenomenal experience. Hands down the best, most trustworthy auto mechanic dealership I have worked with.I brought in a 1982 Jeep CJ 7 to do a pretty major restoration. I had heard about Jeff through some contacts who said he is the best in the southeast regarding CJ work. Just got my CJ the other day and I cant stop making excuses to drive it! It has blown away my expectations.The thing about Jeff is he is very passionate about his work and really just wants to do it the right way. He operates much like I operate and want to be treated in that he will come back up with a few scenarios, pros/cons of each and leave it to the customer to make a decision. In some cases, we chose the cadillac solution, in others the Honda but I felt very comfortable that all info and professional insight was taken well into account.Bottom line, if you have a Jeep and need an expert to work on it, Jeff and team are the best around and are a great joy to work with!

We have had about a dozen of our older cars worked on by Outback Automotive and found their work to be fairly priced, accurate and on time. It can be difficult to find mechanical parts for older cars, but working together we have been able to locate whatever was needed. They are extremely familiar with Jeeps, so if you own a Jeep you dont need to look any further for a reliable shop. We would recommend Outback Automotive for repairs on any car or truck.

The day after purchasing a 2000 Jeep from a dealership (with no visible issues), a check engine light came on. Feeling some serious buyers remorse, I did some research on where I could take the Jeep to get checked out. After reading reviews and getting a recommendation from a Jeep specialty shop, I reached out to Roswell Outback Automotive. With an ever growing list of concerns, I made an appointment to bring it in.From the first conversations with Kim and Dan, I knew right away the jeep was in good hands. Although, it took several calls from Kim to get through everything that needed to be fixed, I was appreciative that they took the time to make sure every part of the Jeep was inspected and all issues were addressed. The most surprising thing (with 9 different areas needing to be dealt with), I got the Jeep back in the same day. With the great service, warranted work and pleasant staff, I would definitely recommend Roswell Outback Automotive to anyone needing Jeep work done.

Total ripoff! This placed charged me $300 to fix the power lock on the drivers side door. The same day, it stopped working again. I took it back, they told me to fix it would be an additional $300! It wasnt fixed to begin with! So I declined, and asked for a refund, which they refused. These people are scam artists, and completely screwed me out of $300!

Jeff and Dan are the best Jeep shop going in Atlanta in my book. They took in my half-finished engine swap on my 98 TJ, something no other shop would even consider, and finished it up for me at a very reasonable price. They always go above and beyond for their customers. For as long as Im a Jeep owner, and as long as they are open, Ill be taking my Jeep vehicles here for service.

I have a 93 Jeep Wrangler. Roswell Automotive is my only mechanic. I found them 7 years ago and will continue to use them. I had them rebuild my engine and very satisfied with the results. It is nice not to burn oil every 500 miles. They will do what is only necessary and advise you on your needs. Trust and ability. What else can be said.

Hands down the best auto mechanic I have ever been to. I have always been extremely skeptical of mechanics, stemming from multiple shady incidents. Any basic work I am capable of doing I try to do myself. Anyway, I had the malfunction indicator light appear on my 04 Grand Cherokee dash on Tuesday. The car went into limp mode as well (Jeff, the owner, explained this to me), which I had never experienced and is scary to drive on. I did the basic key check and got the general transmission error code (P 0700). Dreading the worst and mentally bracing myself to drop major $, I read reviews on every shop in the area. Brought in to Outback Wednesday afternoon and dealt directly with Jeff. Immediately I could tell he is extremely knowledgable and was understanding everything from my novice explanation. He told me I could have either a minor or major problem; he wouldnt know until he looked at it. Got a call first thing Friday morning with good news: rodents had chewed clear through my transmission lines, warranting a simple wire replacement. Jeff quoted me a price significantly lower than I was expecting and I gave him the go-ahead to do the work. Picked up Friday evening and my Jeep runs smooth as butter again, arguably smoother than before the incident. Can not speak enough about the professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and efficiency of this shop. Dont have any doubts about taking your car here.

Beyond amazing service. My TJ broke down outside of Atlanta and after taking it to a dealership with no luck I had it towed to Roswell. Being from out of town I had time constraints and these guys hit the ground running! They not only found the issue but went out of their way to rebuild a pigtail that Jeep does not make. The quality of work and customer service was tremendous. They truly love Jeeps!

Roswell Outback is excellent at diagnosing and repairing jeeps. Had a 95/400k mi and 93 280k mi owned for 20+ years, miles on original engines and still drove better than the newer ones. I drove 68 miles one way for Roswell to repair my jeeps....they knew how to take care of my babies. When I get another one Jeep - they will be the ones to maintain it!!!

Jeff did an outstanding job on my retried Jeep 1979 CJ7 . He put in new steering/suspension which stabilized the Jeep it drives steady like a new vehicle now. In addition, Jeff rebuilt the automatic transmission/Quadratrac 4wd, went through the engine checked and tuned everything. The Jeep runs like new. THey also put on a new soft top. Jeff and team very professional and talented mechanics. I would highly recommend them

This is the only place I ever took my older Jeep Cherokee. They provide excellent service, at a reasonable price. They do not take advantage of those not familiar with auto maintenance; just because you are female, they dont take advantage. Been a Customer since the 1990s. Not only do they provide top notch service, they are HONEST, my first experience was no AC during the Hot Summer after checking things out, Jeff showed me that the switch I needed to turn on to make the AC work, it took 30 seconds and NO CHARGE. I have been sent many of my clients to Roswell Outback, all of them have been very satisfied.

I just moved to Georgia and found these guys online. Approximately 45 minutes from my house but they do an awesome job. I would not take my Jeep anywhere else.

I used these guys once for unknown issue I was having (towed my jeep in) expecting the worst, but they found some minor issue and the cost was a lot lower than what I thought it was going to be. Ill definitely go back. Hard to find honest shops..

I have gone to Jeff and his team twice for a pre-sale inspection and he saved me on the first one and on the second Jeep, he did a thorough check of the Jeep and shared what needed to be fixed and gave his opinion on the pricing of the Jeep. I went in with my 06 Wrangler X having transfer case problems...it would not go into 4WD, hi or lo. The previous owner had zip tied the transfer case vent tube into the air conditioner drain pan drain tube...similar looking rubber tubes. Result was water and ATF in the transfer case. Jeff figures it out and drained the case and put gear lube in for a short while and I replaced it twice with Chrysler ATF over several months per his recommendation and the transfer case works great now. Jeff told me it was tough and he was right. Great diagnostics and customer service at a very reasonable price.

These men automotive professionals. Their friendliness is only surpassed by their knowledge. This is the only shop I will take my car. I have been a customer since 2005, I think.

Before I purchased my 2nd Wrangler from the dealer, I took it to Jeff for a pre sale inspection. He and his team found $900.00 worth of repairs that needed to be done! I took the detailed inspection sheet that Outback provided back to the dealership.and required that they fix everything on that sheet prior to me signing the bill of sale. The dealership complied and I had no issues with my rig for 2 years post purchase. If you want to know that that your vehicle is in good hands that you can trust, and if you want the diagnostics and repairs done correctly the FIRST time. Took my sons Wrangler there after he got water into the motor while off roading. They somehow got all of the water out of the motor, the intake and the fuel injectors. They also found some unrelated electrical issues from a poorly installed alarm system and cleaned that up while they were in there, had the jeep running great in no time.

Not good, waste of time. Took my 2011 grand cherokee. He couldnt find anything, charges to look, never even did alignment. Took it to Kaufman tire and the found right away steering rack and pinion blown out.Save yourself the time and wasted money and go elsewhere.

First of all, I dont own a Jeep. Not even close. I own a 1997 Ford Mustang, which had a strange and unexpected problem I knew no run of the mill oil changing station could fix. The ignition housing, that you stick your key into, popped out of the steering column! It took two tow trucks from AAA to get me to Outback since we couldnt even get the car into neutral because we couldnt turn the key.I left my keys and the car at Outback, and when I came and got it the owner broke down what he had to do to fix the issue. He needed to go to Ford and get a special chipped key and replace the tumblers in the newly ordered ignition housing to fit the new system. I might have gotten that wrong, but this guy went straight locksmith on my steering column, and didnt charge me a cent extra for all the trouble he went through.I will be taking my car to Outback for any more issues I have. These guys are great.

The engine light on my 2014 Cherokee came on and was going to take it to the dealership when a friend told me about Outback. Dropped in without an appointment, Jeff immediately hooked me up to the computer and said I had a slow vapor leak caused by a loose gas cap. Tightened the gas cap and the light went out. No telling what I would have paid if I had gone to the dealership. Total Class Act!

They are fraudsters. Currently being investigated by state and federal authorities for their scams.

Ive had nothing but trouble with my jeep problem after problem and I took it to pepboys who f***ed me over I took it the jeep dealership and they diagnosed some issues but not all (starting issues to be specific) and then I found these guys the friendliest guys around and took my jeep in and hopefully will soon be fixed :)
