Do not go here.The absolute worst customer service ever. No one knows what they are doing at all. Like no exaggeration go and see for yourself.Charging cards and when you return the vehicle they claim your card is declined. But you check your credit card app and it says charged.Headquarters have even worse customer service then this store. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing.U-haul is notorious for hiring incompetent employee’s who do not know a single thing or have experience when it comes to customer service. Specifically speaking “Shaun or Shawn” from the computer support team willingly and knowingly prolonged my return because he knew I was upset with waiting here for over an hour and a half. Please take my experience as an example for you to never ever ever rent from these idiots ever again. Biggest idiots.
The man working today was incredibly rude to my boyfriend. He reserved a truck online and when he got there to pay and pick it up the man refused to let him use his cash app card saying that they don’t accept prepaid cards. Which I’ve used my cash app card for u haul before. My boyfriend needed that truck for work. You just cost him business so I hope this review causes no one to come here
When the guy behind the counter can ignore you to finish his personal phone call on his personal phone until you have to cut him off to force you to acknowledge your presence its a real bad look for the company. 1 star is still too much for that type customer service, thanks for wasting my time bro
I did my order online. I printed my receipt. I went to This Roseville, Mi location to pickup a car dolly. When I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and took care of me right away. My car-dolly was clean and in excellent condition. Staff person properly attached the dolly to my vehicle, and off I went. Smooth Transaction. *****
I rented a Indoor storage unit.This Uhaul has a DRIVE IN bay area to unload. Security code for your unit, cameras, and automatic doors and lights. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Just to clear up how it is. There is no $50 Reservation gaurentee doesnt matter how many people you go through no one takes responsibility and owns up to it. To answer every question, they wont have your truck ready so dont even get your hopes up. If anything after you sit on hold for over 15 minutes theyll get you in some tiny truck regardless of the size you needed. A couple good workers but a terribly ran place. Will stick to competitors for ALL future rentals.
One of the worst locations to rent from....and make sure you check the amount of gas they say is in there and if its not correct make sure to let them know right away....even though we put. In the amount they said was in there....i gave them $100 deposit...drove less than the miles i told them i was gonna drive and was due back $9.65...went to get my money back a few weeks after...as i work 11 hour days....and they now claim that i in fact owe them and didnt put enough fuel in etc....so i cant get my money due because they claimed it was even...no money owed none due. I recommend you go anywhere but here.
Purchased a trailer hitch from Uhauls website and chose to have it installed here. They called and tried to cancel my installation the morning it was supposed to be done because the hitch had not come in yet, but gave me the option to pick up a hitch from a different location and bring it to them if I wanted it done that day (how generous). I had already made arrangements with work to be gone during that time, so I delivered my hitch to them from a different store. This shouldve been my first red flag. The installation took about 3 hours and all seemed well.Its now been a year since that happened and I have had nothing but trouble with the trailer wiring. The lights started having intermittent issues after less than 2 months. I called the store and complained but I was told that since I didnt purchase the wiring warranty (that they never offered me) that I would have to pay the installation fee again to get it fixed. I chose not to.Over the next few months, each time I hauled a trailer, different lights would choose not to work. One time it might be a turn signal, the next time it might be the brake lights. Eventually, the trailer lights stopped working altogether.Now, just this week, the short in the trailer wiring started affecting the lights on my vehicle. Suddenly, the turn signals and brake lights on my vehicle no longer work! I took the vehicle to my mechanic who told me the trailer wiring job was amateur and he was surprised it had worked at all. He cut all the wires to the trailer harness thereby removing the short from the system and suddenly my vehicle lights all work again! I will get the trailer harness rewired, but certainly not here.Buyer beware: you will end up fixing their mistakes later on down the road. I will certainly never be back to this location.
NEVER RENT FROM HERE. So we tried to get a pick up truck and we made an online confirmation. We get to the site and they said “the pick-up has the check engine light on. So we are going to give you a van”. We politely said “no thank you just cancel the reservation” and they reassured us we wouldn’t get charged. 3 hours later we get a receipt showing we drove a van 21 miles and charged $50. Absolute frauds and liars. To knowingly lie and cheat customers out of their money is despicable. I hope “George” gets what’s coming to him.
Was suppose to get a brake controller installed with them, was asked all these questions over the phone about my truck and was told it would be 117 and I set an appointment 2 weeks from the quote. Well my fiancée went in there and they didn’t have an record of my truck coming in. Once they figured it out and Calvin Turner remember who I was, I was then told it would cost 180 plus tax. I called up my fiancée who was still there, and I asked to talk to Calvin Turner Ge started getting hot headed about it and just walked away from the phone saying “My blood pressure is to high to deal with this guy!” I ended up going to another place that installed it the same day for cheaper. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!!

I want to thank the staff at U-Haul of Roseville. They were friendly and courteous, they were very helpful, both on the phone and in person. There was a slight misunderstanding with my purchase and they MADE IT RIGHT IMMEDIATELY! That kind of service in todays world is increasingly rare and very valuable. I wont hesitate to give them my repeat business, and will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Great job!
These guys randomly cancelled a reservation I had made through Uhauls online site. Had to settle for a smaller trailer rented through a different location. They didnt seem too upset that my reservation was cancelled. I am only giving 1 star because I cant post this review unless I select a star

Great and fast service... but the only thing is that the way to get in and out is hard since its right next to the freeway exit... you could get an accident changing lane to get into the uhaul... They need to make a way in back of the uhaul easier....
Totally disgusted with this place. Made a reservation for tomorrow morning, tried calling today about a upgrading our truck and was told that my reservation was being canceled because they didnt have a truck available.Excuse me? A reservation means RESERVED for someone. Dont have online booking if it isnt guaranteed! I wouldnt of known had I not even called to begin with because no one could be courteous enough to call and let us know. Pretty rude and disrespectful.For a company with such a valued name, you have a pretty crappy process.
I reserved a cargo van but when I got there, that van was out for service. After waiting for someone to return a truck, I rent it, and leave. While pulling out I get a text message that Uhaul has charged me twice. Now to summarize after many calls, 10 days, and 8 business days I STILL DONT HAVE A REFUND OF THE HELD CHARGES. I have talked to various customer service people and no one knows what is going on. Will NEVER rent from Uhaul again.
Customer Service really need to tell people that the fees are more then just 1995 for the whole day. That it’s insurance, gas,mileage, which is added to that plus your time waiting on them to do all their checks once you get back and!
Very slow service with only one person working the desk. Be very careful that they dont sneak any extra charges onto your bill when you pick up your U-Haul.The total was higher than I had expected. When I inquired about it, the kid said it was for the protection plan. I told him I declined the protection plan online, and he said I added it. I again denied it, and he replied, I thought you told me you wanted it. Obvious BS. Try another U-Haul.

Bad location, very tight space to function in. The communication is off. Get told one thing on the phone and then have to deal with angry black dude when you get there because your now off on two different paths getting to the same destination. Very frustrating experience. Also got questioned about out of state license. Military= live in Michigan with a Texas plate, MA license.
Grossly overcharged us for mileage. They had made an error on their end and couldnt do their job to remedy it, and instead charged us nearly DOUBLE our original fee. I warn other potential customers, the individuals here arent just running the business poorly, they are down-right shady and criminal
The ladie who is a manager there had a bad problem . she was very rude i dont like to leave bad reviews on places but she was having a bad day or something. But they messed up on my reservations for a trail and called me the night before and we switched it to a open trailer and whwn i got yhere she was rude and allmost didnt let me take the truck .
