Sierra Rock is the only place I go to get landscape materials for my yard. The staff is always so professional and helpful every time I am there to get products. They have everything that you would need for most projects around your yard. Can’t say it enough how much I would recommend Sierra Rock!

These people rock. No project is too small. They left no stone unturned when discussing the matter of a path in the garden. I hope the rest of the staff is chipped off the same block as the fellow that helped me today. He was down to earth. Rock on or rock out, these guys can get you stoned.

Ive been going there every spring for many, many years. I have had materials delivered maybe a couple times. Rest of the time, they dump what i can haul in a pile and i shovel it into my vehicle, which saves me money, so Im good with that. Theyre nice people, good product, bulk saves a lot of money. Ill go there as long as they stay in business!! Ive bought rock, compost, but mostly bark. They have a variety of each. One time I bought from place off Galleria. Was so disappointed--nothing grew in that soil!! Never went there again. Back to people Ive gone to for easily 15 years or more--Sierra Rock.

An honest 5 yards of 50/50 garden mix delivered on time at the precise location requested. Best garden mix Ive used in 30 years of gardening--no rocks, sawdust, bark, broken glass, or subsoil. Ive never been treated as professionally by a landscape delivery company. Many thanks!

I will update this tomorrow after I attempt to speak to a manger. I had a delivery for my veggies boxes, which I did mention when I initially ordered. BUYER BEWARE I ordered 50/50. When shoveling I noticed and large amount of plastic and figured it was from bags or covering on cow manure. While getting in the beds I started pulling large amounts of glass. Thus far there is not any section of dirt that does not have glass-red, green, grey, clear, brown, and what appears to be auto glass. Plastics from bags, maybe toys some is thick some is ..idk, i have found what appears to be peices and orange car light cover. I have pulled plastic cap things that you put on live wires, and the list goes on. Oh and bandaids as of friday. I have cut myself twice and I am beyond stressed and freaked as my toddlers garden with me and now cant. I still have half the load in my yard and will be taking as much out of the beds I had dumped so far after finding a second bandage in the mix. This is not safe and should not be sold to a home gardener. My first phone call conisisted of me voicing my concerns/findings and the man saying he is not surprised since the green waste comes from the dump. That he has been there 5 years and have never heard this complaint and that he will make sure to tell customersin the future. Now after reading these that was false. I will be asking that they take this back since I cannot safely use it for its intended purpose and the though of growing food for my children a literal trash dump turns my stomach. Hopefully the company will rectify the situation, come and puck up their product and refund my money

Helped load flagstone in to my mini van, used a forklift to arrange a pallet right next to the hatch for easy loading. Worked hard and treated us well. Phone staff along with site staff were good. Prices are high. Open early.

This Company was fantastic, the staff was attentive and very informative. I have used many of the local landscape materials companies but have had sub par encounters; however, i have just moved to Roseville and Sierra Rock was fantastic. Rudy and Kevin the desk clerks had a plethora of information. I got my project completed in no time and the delivery driver Tim or Jim i think was super nice and told me what he could do and what he couldnt do on the dump and avoided all my plants perfectly. Great experience, price was moderate to low but you cant beat great service these days.

Be aware they are not delivering amount you paid for!!!Ordered 5 yards of bark and first they delivered at wrong time. They were going to deliver at 12:30 and they delivered it at 9. I wasn;t home at time of delivery and decided to check if 5 yards was there, and loaded 3 Sq ft wheelbarrow flat each time and wrote each one of them on piece of paper as I was loading it. Got total of 39 which is6 wheelbarrows short or 2/3 of the yard.Called in next day to complain and they were at first denying it. Talked to manager by name Rudy. I even offered them to watch my surveillance video if they want as everything is documented. At that time they said come over and we will give you half yard.I came and said not sure what happened but for sure there were no 5 yards there. He said maybe a tractor operator was snoozing at the wheel and wrote on piece of paper for them to give me half yard. I sad sorry but 2/3 are missing and he impolitely said half is more than 2/3, I gave you more.At which time another customer told him that I am right and he yelled to guy that is loading bark to give me f***ing yard and than we well be all good.In my opinion poor customer service and no need to use foul language like that. Not to mention at any time they were not apologetic. I will never shop there again.

Great rich planting planting mix. However must be phd before use. 70/30 mix was ph 5.0, way to acidic guys. Would have been nice to know it was that far off.

The associate, who did not give his name, could care less about giving information. His attitude was distinctly unfriendly from the moment he answered the phone. I also called the Lincoln branch, but they did not pick up in the middle of a week day afternoon.

We needed some small aggregate for our backyard. The desk guy came out, answered out questions, gave us some samples..we returned a few days later for the stone.

Ordered 7 yards of Planters Mix and some pea gravel. The planters mix is FULL of a bunch of garbage; broken glass, tons of plastic (hard pieces and bag pieces) and lots of wire. I called them to see if they could make it right and was basically told we mix compost in from the dump.. someone must have put wires and junk in their green waste bin, tough luck.They seemed like they couldnt care less. We went with them for this project on a recommendation from a neighbor. Never again. (and we have a bunch of projects coming up soon) The pea-gravel is great though. :/

This place is conveniently located for me right off douglas and Im in and out of there. they dont have everything on hand but they can order for you if needed.

Landscaping I have used both locations and the materials are excellent, the soil mixes are the best in the area and they have a good selection of bark and mulch. Free delivery w 5 yards or more otherwise they just load my truck in the yard.

This is the best place to buy planting mixes, topsoil, mulch, decomposed granite, rock, etc. Its also a great place to buy bounders and other decorative stone, although the selection here isnt as large as some places. Still, its the place I visit first every time.
