Went for my Grandsons 19th Bday... Great Trigger Time!

The workers are very rude. Kept yelling at us about the “one door at a time” policy but not others. Don’t yell at customers first & second if you enforce something make sure you enforce it for all!

At 4:25 pm yesterday I was seriously interested in buying a $700 used Colt, 45 automatic, and was curtly informed that we dont process purchases after 4:30.When I suggested that it left five minutes for me to purchase, I was told you have five minutes to look.All this 45 minutes before closing time.Ill make my next purchase where my business is valued, and where the staff has a better attitude toward customers.

Just got my new 10mm The fellows are serious about their guns. If you wanna get your stuff proper and correct this is the place for you.

These guys had the types of handguns I was looking for and were knowledgeable about what they had for sale. The prices were average but considering the helpful info these guys had about what kind of ammo, features the gun I purchased specifically had, tool I needed (they had it there for sale) for loading clips, and that my purchase came with one month of almost free shooting at the stores range.... I think I got a good deal. Im super happy with this place and cant wait to get back!

I visited this establishment today. They were very friendly. Their selection was not what it use to be. Everyone is blaming it on the Covid pandemic. I would have rated it higher (not their fault), but their suppliers arent delivering. They arent the only gun shop with this problem. Hopefully they will start getting their orders.

Wanted to give a good review but havent had a good experience the last two times I went.They close earlier than any gun range Ive been to in the area, making it especially difficult to try and use the range on weekdays, and the last two times I tried they were not very kind or apologetic about not being able to go because I didint get there early enough. I get the stern attitude - it is a gun shop after all, but every member of staff Ive talked to here just made it seem like Im a great inconvenience and that they want me to leave. Not coming back

Very rude. I walked in and was on my cell phone on hold with another gun store so I wasnt talking. I was looking around and while walking around the guy at the register told me I wasnt allowed to be on my phone. I asked why and he said you just arent allowed to be on the phone. I walked out.

Went there to get some Range time and it was fun definitely will come again they had everything you need before you go and shoot.

I feel they price gouge me last time I visit not cool be careful when u go I think they adjust range price to how they feel at the moment not constant. I had 2 receipts 2 different prices 🤔

Peters has been around a long time, but the store/range is perfectly fine. Comfortable place to shoot, guys in the shop always answered questions well, and are courteous and friendly. Sort of a home town kind of feel, and that brings me back.

I came in a few days ago looking for advice on guns for home protection....after much discussion with the owner, I bought my first hand gun. They even took me in the back and let me fire it to get use to the feel. I must say I feel a lot better knowing I am able to better protect my home and family, especially with the increasing crime in our area. If anyone is unsure about owning a gun, or just looking for advice, please stop in and ask. The guys are great and very knowledgeable! Thank you!

This place is more interested in pleasing commie whitmer than actual sales and running the business.

Range was pretty good. I wish the walls between lanes were higher otherwise you will be pelted with spent shells. Staff isnt super helpful and they seem to be quick to anger but that can be understandable. If youre looking for a no-frills range, check it out. If youre looking for something where the staff wants to be your friend, check out someplace else.

I went in there on 3-13-20 and purchased in full with cash a Armscor VRPA-40 12G Shotgun. The man who seemed to be the owner and who ordered the firearm for me while I was standing there seemed to be nice. I purchased a Ruger LCP .380 from him a few years ago and everything was smooth again paid in cash. This time though after ordering the VRPA-40 for me he said it will be in the next shipment and will arrive either on Tuesday March 17th (3-17-20) or Wednesday March 18th (3-18-20) and that he will call me. Midway through Thursday 3-19-20 I still did not hear anything so I called and was told to call back today Friday 3-20-20. Needless to say i did and was told that it might be there he doesnt know that he has 30 customers in front of him and doesnt have time to log the firearms and that he might have it ready on Monday 3-23-20. Seriously? I already paid in full and once they have my money Im just brushed away? As a salesman myself this doesnt stand. I have a saying and it goes Bad business equals no business. I will not spend another dollar at the this place ever again. Lets see if I even receive my firearm on Monday.

They act like no one can gift you a gun or buy a gun for you. More so the issue was I had a gun transferred to them that my dad paid for. So since he paid for it in their eyes. It looked suspicious smh!!!

They have a wide selection from handguns to long rifles was surprised to see they had a judge here gun range is awesome too

Very good place to shoot. They don’t bother youThey let you train. And if you have any questions orproblem with your firearm they more the willing to help you. I’m a member and plan to renew my membership.

Called and asked what time the range closes he said 8 30pm and hung up.. called. Called back again and asked how much range time cost he said $12.00 and hung up the phone again... apparently you are only allowed 1 question if you call in.... other than the great customer service the place is a fun little spot to practice at.

Great little pistol range and shop. It is $12 for Range time and ammo is a little more then average retail. The range can be cold during the winter season. They are a FFL dealer, so i have my online guns shipped here to transfer. Great all in all

I grew up in Roseville and have known the Peters family for many many years they are by far not racist and you should really keep your inaccurate opinions to yourself because they are based on your negative view of people that dont look like you get out of your little bubble and get a life. Boyfriend took me here for what was to be my first time shooting. Seeing some of the negative reviews I was apprehensive, but I have to say the staff there was great so I felt I needed to post a review. I know nothing about gun ranges so I cant really speak about the quality of the range, but like I said the staff was great. It being my first time on the range I was kind of freaked out and decided not to shoot. I left my boyfriend on the range and went to sit in the shop. The guys working there were really nice and in no way made me feel stupid or bad about not wanting to shoot. They did try to encourage me to go back out there, but it was in a nice and informative way and I felt very comfortable sitting in the shop alone while my boyfriend was shooting. I saw some reviews that said this place was not a place for women and I disagree. As a women the staff made me feel very comfortable. They stopped us as we were going to leave and without us even asking they refunded the range fee my boyfriend had paid for me since I didnt actually shoot.I dont know if I will ever try to go shooting again, but if I do this is where I will be going.

So i was having issues purchasing a pistol. These guys are amazing. Answered all my questions. Helped me understand local, state and federal laws. Also when i got denied (wrongfully so) by NICS they didnt automatically treat me like a criminal. Thanks guys! Also the owner is a great guy. Will be back 100%

Simple and cheap. No specific rules that i was told about so i got to double tap and shoot fast. Probably only 50ft long. $12 to shoot. They didn’t time me on my lane so i got to shoot for an hour and half on $12. That is by far my favorite part. Targeting system was old and my target bounced/swayed after sending it out. Pro shop guys were quiet. Pro shop prices are a little high but thats expected when comparing everything to Amazon these days. I would definitely go back!

Rude short tempered staff. Will no longer deal with them. Its always an inconvenience to speak with anyone that works her worst customer interaction Ive ever seen. Avoid at all costs

I took my 14 year old daughter to Peters Range and had a pleasant experience. We both shot my Sig and an old .22 bolt action. I bought my ammo there and the staff was very polite and experienced. No waiting and no problems!

Staff friendly and helpful. Prices for the range are great. The range could be better, however; the location is perfect. Drop in, you can always get a lane, and close to home.

Price your firearms out before you shop here. I purchased a gun from here, then the next day I seen that Gander Mountain had the same gun for almost $100 less. So I called and they pretty much said sorry about your luck. Last time Ill be shopping there, they lost a good customer!

The range could be better and definitely needs a better ventilation system. My biggest complaint is I have been there twice in the last few weeks and both time I have been hit by ricochets from OTHER shooters. The sad part is the lack of intelligence with the staff because started questioning me and my ammo when I notified them that I was hit by a ricochet from ANOTHER lane. This was definitely my last time visiting this range.

I had the unfortunate task of selling one of my firearms due to economic hardship. A local gun range told me to take it to Peters to get a fair price for it. Granted I didnt get what I would have liked to get for it but at the end of the day they are a business and they have to make a profit. They bought my firearm for a fair price, they werent pushy at all. Again this is another business that isnt getting the recognition they deserve. Peters isnt local to me but I wouldnt mind going back if Im in the area.

Its just your basic range nothin special kinda looks ran down looks like it could use some TLC. No markers anywhere to tell you what distance your shooting at. Staff is always friendly though so if you just wanna make a quick trip to shoot off a few and nothing to extended they serve their purpose

Worst customer service ever ex when you write info for a back round check they talk behind your back and bad mouthing the customer when they leave the dont act professional

When you close at 6 p.m., but state your closing down the shop and snappiky ask someone what they want is a turn off. Especially since planes on purchasing 2 firearms. Will take my business to a place that wants my money.

There is no perfect range, but Peters is in a very acceptable range.

Dark, dirty and has CARPET in the range area! Carpet caught on fire when I was there.Looks more like your uncles basement than a Gun store and range.Store has been closed for 4 months now, with no explanation other than a sign that saysclosed by order of the Governor . That was 4 months ago, all other ranges open, they must have lost theyre license.

I have been here several times. Its probably my favorite place to go shoot. For one, the price is right. Some places charge $15-$20/hr... thats absurd! Peters is like $10. For that reason alone its worth it! But besides the great price, the staff is very friendly.. I have been to some places where they are very rude and arrogant, this place is super nice and they treat you like a normal person!

I dunno what everyone is crying about. Ive never once had an issue at this shop. The prices are great, the lanes are generally always open, and they are pretty laid back.Probably my favorite place to go as of recently.

Poor ventilation system. Hard time breathing from all the gun smoke. Owner is real nice and helpful.

Great range...Little small but still great! Staff is knowledgeable... Ammo prices are not expensive but not nearly as expensive as Walmart or dunhams! And they are a FFL and that price is a bit high! I shoot here about once a month.

None of the newer ranges offer me the expertise and atmosphere that I enjoy at this range.This is by far,the best range in town.

I personally like the range. I found the staff helpful. I have never had to wait to use the range. True I am a nooby but ive been here 5 times and never felt uncomfortable. Price 12 bucks is cheap. Range may not be the best but its good enough for what your going to do. Havent bought a gun yet but ive seen others doing so and the staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I love being able to go in and shoot with no wait time.

No frills range with a small selection of firearms. They really need to upgrade their exhaust...itll get Smokey if youre sending a number of rounds down range.

Ive been going to peters for a few years. Always helpful and knowledgeable.

Guy with the glasses is an A-hole to the customers. Hes a pervert as well so keep an eye on him when using the range. He thinks he knows everything and he gets mad when you prove him wrong. Management needs to let him go. Hes not good at what he does. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Close Quarter Tactical at 23 mile and Hayes.

Great place but I wish they would change the hours for Sundays .. from memorial until labor day its not opened on Sundays !! I drove a good distance to go there a few weeks ago and was quite disappointed .. went there the following Thursday so no hard feelings just change the hours ! 😛

Most of the statf is arrogant and unpleasant. They have very limited stock are overpriced. The ventilation is inadequate so customers inhale lots of gunsmoke.
