Proud owner of the Boss GT-10 for a few years now and really happy with the sound of it. I was always looking for some new patches and found the website of James Limborg and I first tried one sound (Van Halen - The dream is over) and I was blown away by the quality of the patch. I decided to buy 4 additional patches and the quality is great. I definitely recommend everybody to use these patches as they are great.

These are by far the best patches for the GT-10. I have written hundreds of patches by myself that I was satisfied with. Then I bought some from another place when I got lazy. Mine were better, so disappointment. Then I tried some from James. I was amazed!!!!! You do get what you pay for, and these patches are worth every penny. I own 3 GT-10s, and there are patches from James on all 3. I really appreciate the stereo field, it just brings them to life. Thanks James, and Im still using them all that I purchased in both bands.

I purchased the acoustic guitar patch for performance and other acoustic guitarists stated that it was the best sound ever. The patch is brilliant and very much worth the time to find this and download it from James site. He also provided the details to put it on the GT10. Excellent sound, Great patch

I have had so much fun with the sounds James created (I bought about 20), and am finally now getting the use out of my GT-10 that I wanted. My favorites (being an over-50-year-old) are Boston and Pink Floyd, and my friends think I am a far better player when I am playing through these patches (makes you sound like the orig recording). I am happy that I finally took the plunge of getting the Limborg patches. I dont know why Boss put such bland factory preset sounds when these sounds (Limborgs) are possible from this machine.

I have been searching along time to get the proper Vanhalen sound, and i finally stumbled across it when i found James Limborgs site, he must have a phenomenal ear cause his patches are right on the money and worth every penny, Thanks James for being so helpful in every way, in getting me started and finding what i need to get your sound, You have been so helpful and its much appreciated. I have a Helix Floor model and a lot of EVH Patches that are no comparison to what you done through your hard work, Thanks Again!

I first learned of Jim Limborg patches while surfing the web looking for Line6 tones. I reviewed his Website and and was convinced he had the best tones on the Web. His passion for music and dedication was enough for me-I purchased a GT-10 unit the very next day. I am happy to say this was several years ago and I honestly believe it holds true today. (even with Helix on the market) I own most of Jims patches and I hope to purchase more and maybe a custom patch too!

I really like the Boss GT-10, however, it´s a bit difficult for me to understand and get my way around the many functions, parameters, buttons, etc. it has, and to create a patch that sounds the way I want, once I found James page, I found and easy and non expensive way to get the patches I needed. They sound great, and have a feature I really like, which is that the patches come with CTL pedal effects, which in a way make two patches out of one, easy to use in different parts of the song. Great Job James!!!

Simply put James can create custom patches like nobody else. I did my research looking for good quality tones and or amps only to be dissapointed time and time again. Finally I discovered James Limborg and my search was over.

I got a number of Van Halen patches and found them to be bang on to the record. Definitely helped in learning the songs as the right sound was no longer a difficult variable. Also got some SRV patches and found them to be very versatile overall which one has turned out to be my goto patch for recording! Thanks James!

James has a very unique gift in tones style and balance. With his little dreamer Van HalenPatch, if you goof up when you play it, it actually sounds like Eddie was playing and made a goof. James in unparalleled in this field. You cant go wrong with his patches freakin amazing!!!

How good are James Limborgs GT-10 patches? After hearing samples of them on his website, I went out and bought a GT-10 just so I could download and play them. THEY ARE THAT GOOD!James attention to detail is remarkable. He is able to capture that off the album sound for all of them. My favorites, for example, are the Van Halen patches. He programs the correct COSM amplifier model, EQ, speaker cabinets and most importantly the effects that you hear on those albums (Roth and Hagar) better than ANY I have heard. Well Done, James!

I have had the Boss GT for some time now and with all the buttons, knobs and functions it can be confusing, I am a huge Van Halen fan and wanted to some of Eddies sounds. It seamed impossible. Then I stumbled upon James Limborgs website that is dedicated to making custom patches for the GT-10. He has tons of patches that he spent hours perfecting. You can listen to them on his site. I bought some Van Halen, AC DC, and some SRV. I can actually have fun with this pedal instead trying to figure out how to use it. Very cool patches and they sound just like the artists. A must have if you own this pedal.

Closest Van Halen patches I have ever heard and played!! James patches make the GT-10 sound like a 3000 dollar rack unit!

These patches rock they are so close it takes all the guess work out I purchased Eric Johnson and man let me tell you its spot on these patches are worth their weight in gold ..........................
